Can we have an SG catalogue or something?
In game and not on message boards... like an SG application counter where you can read about all the SGs and their short description... as well as a categorisation (Language/National based, Theme, RP, PvP, etc)... keyword search...
And from that counter you can send an application to become a member
I think it would give a chance to smaller SGs with very specific interests to find their targeted audience. (ie... there are people who want language based SGs... or very specific themes like "Steampunk"... but it's hard for them to find each other) -

Through another portal..... Ancient Egypt. All sand. The inhabitants are the laser gun toting Incas.

In other news, Marvel's lawsuit against Cryptic was joined by UPN, claiming infringment of their popular 'Stargate SG-1' franchise.
Great idea.

(That's just sarcasm... it's not happening)
But you got to admit that naming the first dude you see when walking into the Shard, "General Hammond" was kind of pushing the envolloppe -

And we're making a few changes to make Shadow Shard and Crash Site more accessible. For instance - putting a teleporter in Peregrine Island so that player 40's can get to and from easily.

The Shard doesnt need to be more accessible... it needs to have something in it... I like that it's hard to get there... and eventually it will make vehicules a necessity.
-There should be a random Monster spawn... like the octopus but Rularuu like...
-The long TFs are fine... but another shorter one (other then Saga of Faathim... which is nice) would help
-Stuff to discover... like a field of Kora fruits in the way off regions...
-The Paladin quest is nice...
-Give story arcs to the contacts...
-badges...
No one goes there because it's not on the way to anything... nor is it a destination for anything... other then 3 very long TFs and a decent one... (which, again, it's fine to have long TFs... but its all you have)
I'd make the Shard into an evolving story with something different every 2 issues or so... (heard of Saga of Ryzom? crappy game but cool concept)... now that Lanaru is dead... then what... he gives rise to a villain group like Rularuu did?... keep going with the story -
As you'll advance in the game AoE attacks become more prominant... and having the Tanker bring all the ennemies together around him will let you guys move forward allot faster since you can destroy them all at the same time...
It's also much safer since the tank is built for this type of work and since he already has the aggro... you dont really risk having the mobs come after you... He takes less damage... his provoke is more effective since it too is an AoE... it's only one person to heal so easier on the defender... even controller holds work better ...
That said... there are other ways to go about it, this is just how to make the most of having the tanker in the group... how best to use him... if you dont have one then controller holds are fine... or pulling... or traps... but not as efficient if you are a Fire or Energy blaster -
This is exactly what I do!
All you low level tanks, you should listen to what he says... this is what you should model / will become...
if you are lvl 30+ you should know this by or your gut feeling should tell you this is that thing that has eluded you and that you were about to put together... if not you are really thick.... and go get provoke people
Felicitation, bonne job! -
So Incarnate is the winged archetype!
DING DING DING DING DING -
man... the wild guesses people will throw!!! ... MY TURN! :P
INCARNATE
1 a : invested with bodily and especially human nature and form
b : made manifest or comprehensible : EMBODIED <a fiend incarnate>
I'm guessing some mystical being taking corporate form either permanently or with the ability to change...
I'm seeing something like what you would call Elementals...
Highly susceptible to the opposite elemental type...
Coralax.... just sounds like Coral to me...
I'm think water based ATs... just in time for water based environments :P -

hmm... if that mob is at 0 HP he's done...\
so in my book extra damage as a side effect is way more powerful...
Give electricity it's own damage type and make all robotic type mobs "HIGHLY VULNERABLE" to electrical damage
I dont get it anyways... exposure to electricity wares you down?... if a droid is exposed to electricity his batteries are drained?... Huh... yeah... I dont think so...
