The lights and power suddenly go out for a few seconds...
Party decorations appear -streamers, balloons, and 'Happy 40th Birthday Pogo!!' adorn the Rookery.
Platters of all kinds of breakfasty goodness line the tables. Fountains of coffee and chocolate are set up -one of each flavor..and a third mixing the two!!
A mountain of chocolate donuts, and a twin mountain of recess peanut butter cups sit off to the side. A huge table covered in mounds of bacon is also there.
There is a ring set up with those inflatable sumo suits AND a bouncy castle set up for some fun!*

Yes, that little countdown thing Ive been doing led to this moment!
Today's my 40th birthday! And instead of wallowing in everything bad that happened, I'm using it as a springboard to a decade of wonder and happiness!
Let the party begin!!

*Stacks of golden brown french toast line the tables, platters of brekfast meats- bacon, sausage, bacon, etc. fruit platters, bagels, rolls, croissants, various butters and syrups too. chocolate donuts, and even recess peanut butter cups! and the coffee machines are set to the max! also on each piece of french toast is '4 2 40'.*

*A huge procession enters with horns blaring an arrival. Animals of all sorts enter lined up with imperial guards in full armor shining and weapons at the ready. Being carried on a palanquin is Pogothulu adorned in regal robes of deep, rich colors and wearing really cool looking sungalasses. The palanquin is made of gold and encrusted jewels.*

1.Universal Studios: Harry Potter attraction
2. Universal Studios: Halloween Horror Nights.

and

3.) DIsney World Pirates of the Carribean

went on that when I was 8 years old. would love to go on it now and see all the changes since the movies came out.
