Agreed about the alignment changes. At that price I would buy them whenever I need to take a hero redside for whatever reason (badging/patron pool unlock). As it is, I'm seriously considering buying a few to stock up until the next time they go on sale.
  2. I should be around to help out but don't need the badges so don't hold my spot and if someone else needs it it's theirs
  3. Zwilinger said during coffee talk this week i23 won't be out in May, so it's not that tomorrow.

I liked the ending one better: "The zombies have disappeared from Dark Astoria." Really? Well done!

Also, in a Serpent Drummer mission, Hro'dhotz taunted one of the NPCs instead of me, "Surprised Observation: Fusionette Survival." Yeah, you and me both, buddy.

Very smooth. Thank you for organizing, and grats to those who got badges.

Am I misreading something, was there a change that put these sources into conflict or has it always been this way?

In any event, can this get looked at? Please and thank you.
The -end is per enemy hit, so if you hit only one enemy you're only going to lose 40 end, but if you hit three or more (as will most often be the case) you get a full crash.

Edit: Oh, and if you miss completely, you don't lose any end at all.

He acknowledges this when you first meet him in Sybil Psyche's arc: "Perhaps I cannot speak, as I have Protean in my employ, but he pales in comparison to the horrors that the Menders have wrought."

    Afterburner?

I've never had a problem fitting Afterburner into a build, and usually have a second slot to give it for that little extra burst of flight speed. My only problem with it is I forget to turn it off and then wonder why none of my attacks are working.

And last year I got all the ski badges with Sprint + Ninja Run + Afterburner, so it's good for that, too. Well, I didn't get the badges because the character I ran the slopes on already had them, but the point is, I made the badge times.
  9. Grats to those who got badges, and thanks to Amy for organizing and leading.

No, trials usually form up in Dark Astoria now, in what used to be the entry point from Talos.

    The Done Club

Logged in before work to get Cold Hand of Death, which brings my main to 1,351 and done. I'm assuming there will be an anniversary badge available in the next couple days and probably something to do with the Nemesis invasion, and of course i23 isn't too far off, so I won't get to rest for very long...
  12. I should be around to help out. I have the badges.

The only change to any of the missions is that you're level 15 for the Shivan mission instead of 25. Some of the text has changed, though: Mender Tesseract no longer assumes you went through Outbreak/Breakout for your tutorial and Silos mentions that the meteors hit Galaxy City and the future you're going to was the one they originally foresaw.

Possibly, but it doesn't make sense. There didn't seem to be anything fancy about the mission, and last time I did a mothership raid I had no lag to speak of even without turning down my graphics.
  15. Had this issue now on Champion.

Zoned in seven times, mapserver every time. Running the arc through Ouro, so I couldn't drop the mission and move on.

One thing that's odd; when I logged back in I'm nowhere near the mission door. One time I was up by Virgil Tarikoss. Most of the time I'm in an office building somewhere. The last time I'm in the building with the Science and Tech stores that Ruben hangs out outside of.

I was finally able to enter and complete the mission after setting my graphics to minimum. Don't know if that helped or I was just lucky.

Can't speak to the lag, but the toggles are WAI per the patch notes.

The only thing the tokens really make sense for is convenience, and the convenience applies equally to VIP and Premium, but apparently VIP isn't the intended market. It's all very surreal.
I was interested in the alignment change tokens; I don't enjoy running villain tips but do have a badger who occasionally needs to switch sides to get the latest batch of redside badges. If the tokens were cheaper, I would gladly buy them, use them to switch to villain, get what I want done, and work my way back through rogue and hero tips.

    But 800 points each... yeesh.
  19. I didn't have high hopes for my rad/rad defender when I rolled her. I know Radiation Emission's a great set, but after soloing my emp through most of the 40s I had fairly low expectations as to how well she would do solo.

The answer appears to be, "Perfectly well, thank you."

I feel more or less the same about my ice/storm troller, except I rolled her the first day I had the game so didn't have any expectations for how playing her would go. Nearly deleted her in the late twenties after one too many Banished Pantheon missions.

Agreed, which is why I'm waiting. I don't enjoy doing villain tips, and alignment change tokens are a tad on the expensive side, so if I can combine two issues worth of badges, great.
  21. The three Valentine's Day badges pushed me to 1300. Thought I posted this back then, but I guess not.

I'm 3/4 through Issue 22's badges now, just needing the trial badges (both Dilemma Diabolique and Drowning in Blood), the two villain arcs (at this point, I think I'm going to wait until 23 comes out or I'm certain they're not going to add more villain-only badges with it), and the day job (hate hate hate). Add in News Flash/MoTPN and I'd cap out at 1350, although I'll certainly at least have the Statesman loyalty badge by then.
  22. Congrats to everyone who got the badges, and thanks, Amy, for organizing and leading.
  23. I'll try to be there I'm a bit out of practice, but I should be able to pick it back up quickly. Think I'll bring my emp to start with, but I can switch to something else if needed.
