  1. Hi, so here is the build. I'd like to have advices / critiques, maybe ideas for improvements.

    Features :
    New 21.5 Agility Core Alpha Slot (to mimic the bonuses in mids, take Spiritual Radial for the 33% recharge boost, and core/radial Nerve for the 20% defense bonus boost. EndMod isn't possible to mimic atm).
    Soft-caped S/L/E/N/F/C def, with 25% positionnal def and 22% psionic.
    80% S/L res, 34% E/N/F/C res, 30% Toxic res.
    Caped Hit Points with perma Dull Pain (need to take into account accolades).
    330% regen (aka 50hp/sec).
    Perma hasten with 152.5% recharge.
    +47% ToHit, +50% Accuracy and +84% Damage, perma.
    Unstoppable up 2/3 of the time, with Barrier Destiny to help when it goes down.

    Cons :
    Really expensive.
    Psi attacks will rip it's heart off.
    Kinda end heavy ? (/fear Lord Recluse)
    Few attacks, doesn't include Build Up.
    Only one Taunt (is it enough ?)

  3. Well, I guess wind and ice/cold will be okay too as primaries / secondaries, considering the very nature of storm, but that's pretty much it.
    And really it should be one of the main powerset to be one those 4 choices.

    Sonic / Mental for instance would not be related to storm, cause it's more sound / psychic stuff, even with the mu mastery PPP.

    But yeah, let's go for ice/cold wind as well ! I'm gonna do some more searching with those.

    But I'm not gonna play all of them at the same time. The word team seems inapropriate, since they're all gonna be on the same account, it's more a roleplay team / ligue / whatever. Thus the needing for them to be able to solo quite well.

    Anyway, been looking to your suggestions and made up my mind, part at least, so here is what I'll go with for sure :

    Doomsday elec melee / shield scrapper
    Genesis invul / elec armor tanker
    Machina titan / elec armor brute
    Oblivion elec melee / ninjutsu stalker (yay !)

    As for the 3 lasts, think i'll go with a storm summoning defender, but I still hesitate for the other two...
    I'd like to maybe incorpore a dominator, since they're the only one with the "assault" power trees, and it sounds fun.
  5. Hello folks, so I've been playing CoH for a month or so, with my main char which is an Elec / Shield Scrapper, and I love it.

    As I was struggling yesterday to write her a background, I came up with the idea of 6 characters, lead by a last one, all disciples of storm / electrical.
    So basically, since I'm kinda new to the game and don't know all the cool builds out there, I was asking for combo suggestions (not build, i'll do that by myself later on), but they are some rules.

    All char must use only one electrical power, and it is appreciated that two different chars dont share the same power if it is not an electrical one. All AT must be different, with no HEATs or VEATs. They must be strong, have no difficulties to solo stuff (not asking to solo +4/x8 or AV/GMs, but +1/x8 at least).I'm VIP (obviously since I can post here) so I have acces to incarnate / IO stuff and plan on build those chars accordingly.

    As of now I've came up with those :
    Doomsday : Elec Melee / Shield Scrapper.
    Genesis : Invul / Elec Melee Tanker.
    Machina : ??? / Elec Armor Brute.
    Dominion : ??? / Storm Summoning Masermind.
    Oblivion : Electric Control / ??? Controlleur
    Zurvan : Electrical Blast / Time Manipulation Corruptor

    And a last slot open for the 7th...

    So I'm not asking for builds, but some ideas concerning combos who are doing great.
    Any suggestions will be highly appreciated regarding any aspect of my storm team !

    May I have any suggestions regarding this build ? I know it's expensive, but I plan on farming do get it all together. Still, any possibiliy on a similar, yet far less expensive, build to start off ?

  9. I was wondering, would it be possible to do a similar build (aka, one for all stuff), with Claws / FA ?
    I'm new to the game, and i very much like this playstyle.
    I haven't yet digging the IO system, hence won't attempt to create a build myself, so I would really appreciate advices with that build, if that's not too much asking.
