I've currently got a level 26 Fire/EM blaster and I am having loads of fun arresting mobs at a stupidly fast rate
But I am also not sure how to be as effective as I can at later levels as it seems the difficulty in taking mobs out increases significantly. Now, from what friends have said, I seem to have a bit of a pvp build so far, which is a pain cos I don't pvp, ah well, anyway long story short. I'll see how I go and hopefully things will be even more uber pwnageonce I get Inferno.
Oh and one more thing! I need more end! Even with triple slotted Stamina and Conserve Power, I can still deplete my end bar in about 30 seconds.... any advice on what to do? -
Me too, I've already spoken to you mid game, but approx 6-7pm GMT onwards Wednesday night would be best for me. Anyone know roughly how long it's gonna take as I have work first thing Thursday and don't wanna be up till 2am doing it. I could go till midnight though at a push
Swordkin 50 Katana/Regen Scrapper reporting for duty! -
Hello,
I finally dinged 50 with my first toon this weekend and wanted to post here, though I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this. Should I be wrong I'm sure Bridger will be only to happy to move it
Anyway, after 4 months of hard work, Swordkin (that's my toon you see) finally (sp?) made 50 at about 4:30 in the moning on Saturday the 3rd of March.
Huzzah!
I'd like to say thanks to everyone who helped me get there, you know who you are, and to say that as a Peacebringer, I already noticed that I Really, Really don't like Quants and Voids....
Thanks again everybody! -
Now, Thundorn.
I haven't actually respecced it out. I still have Fast Healing, Health, Quick recovery and Stamina all 3 slotted with as many SO's as I possibly can afford. I'm not wasting extra slots on these powers as after three, any further slots that take the same type of enhancement only offer aobut a 1.1% increase to the power itself, these slots are better used on another power I feel. I could still try it in pvp, and provided I'm not AS, I should be able to deal with most attacks, I remember taking on a lvl 40 Brute in Siren's when I was lvl 28 and he needed help to finish me off. Hehehe, I wasn't all that fast at taking him down but nor was he a major threat to me till his buddy turned up. As for PvP itself, I'm not too interested until I hit lvl 50, I wanna get that done first and then I'll probably tweak my build for pvp/pve fighting.
Still it's nice to be vindicated by my SG leader as up to now he's always been telling me to drop Fitness as the powers were already present in Regen power pool, which is right, but now I'm twice as survivable for only a couple of extra power choices.
The only trouble I have now is against Psionics and Endurance Sappers like Arachnos and Canies. I flipping hate carnies!
By the Way, in case you're looking round for me. My toon is Swordkin. Come watch me smoosh stuff next time your online eh? -
Hi all,
I'm gonna have to say my greatest Scrapper moment so far was at about level 25 on an 8-man team attempting to take out a room full, and I do mean full of Tsoo mostly +2's with the odd boss thrown in. The Tank, having charged headfirst into the room without checking if we were ready, ran back to the group with about 20/30 of them in tow. In short order, the Tank, all three Blasters, two Controllers and the Defender were all checking out the carpets they had had installed in the base, and I was left on my lonesome...
To the hysterical shouts of Run! Run! Run! which were being called like it was going out of fashion, I drew my katana and waded in...
As I began battering the bad guys, I turned DP on and started using some insps to keep myself upright, as the rest of the team realised what was going on, they started chucking me spares as my health got low and telling me I was single handedly paying off their debt...Class!
It truely was an experience hearing the awe in their voices as they watched me mow the Tsoo down "OMG, He's invincible!" That kind of thing... Ahhh the heady nostalgia takes over...
And when they were cleared, in keeping with the laid-back attitude of the true Scrapper, I say "And that is how you do that friends and team-mates"
Regen is ace, ain't it?
