  1. Well, I managed to play tonight, while at my friend's house. Got to play as Mer'de and Dragonfly.

Good fun tonight was, every bit of it. I'm gonna go post on our forums now, for Sabrina's Diary.

Fingers crossed I can make Thursday visits to my friend's place a weekly thing.

    The Militia

    "Sorry about the other day"

"Don't mention it kid. Pride is an important thing for a young man, but ya gotta be careful it dont swallow ya up"

Dragonfly stood on the rooftop of her mother's old apartment in Kings Row, where she now trains. The kid, Justin, had been saved from a Hellion fireball two days past by our young heroine and the boy had responded rudely.

"Why do you people do it? I dont understand"

    "You people?"

    "Yah, you know... Superheroes"

"Hmm, good question. To be honest with you, I dont quite understand either but let me ask you one question Justin. If a person is in trouble, would you help him?"

    "Depends.. what kinda trouble?"

Dragonfly glared at the boy, annoyed by his bluntness but also, slightly amused.

"Okay.. lets say this person is your schoolmate, and you see him being beaten, what would you do?"

    "I don't school"

    Dragonfly sighs.

"Okay, you see some random little boy being beaten, what would you do?"

"Depends who's beating him, if its his parents, so be it"

"Justin, you're a pain in the ars you know that"

    The kid smiles.

"Weeell, I don't know about you, but my ars feels fine"

    Dragonfly laughs loudly.

"I should've let that fireball hitya you little squirt. Come here, I'll walk you home"
  3. man this is so bloody 'ard. forget it.

No recharges slotted in either taunt power with little slotting for taunt duration combined with the recharge penalty from Granite will result in very slow recharging taunts that don't last long. That'd be my guess at the problem anyway.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Damn it, I totally forgot about the recharge penalty of Granite. Bah!! Back to the Planner.. brb.

    *Minutes later...

    Okay, so lets see..

I don't attack much but it's reasurance to know I'm capable of some decent damage, both AoE and ST.

Never on a PvP team to be honest but if ever, it'll be a similar chain but with Focus Accuracy (and Minerals for stalker watching).
  5. I see where you're coming from, but unslotted swift does the job I need it to, and thats to manuever slightly amidst my herd while Rooted or Granite might have me anchor'd. Any larger traveling and Teleport does the job.

Besides, the way I see it, (health, rooted) the more regen the better. Earths Embrace is there when I need it, so its okay as it is.

(oooh gawd what a long and boring post filled with words I cannot even begin to comprehend. Oh look, a typo! I must now ridicule him and show off how superior I am, Go me!)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Woah! Dude, chill. I saw your typo and it was funny. Typo's can and will escape multiple spellchecks and I for one, know that. I wasn't making fun of you. Honest.

Edit: I guess maybe I need not have posted such a response, but somehow, at the time, I felt like it. Not to mention a slight want of relaxing the tension of this debate you guys have going on.. interesting and educational as it may be.
  7. Cheers to Pharoah's Advisor for pointing out that Minerals don't work with Granite on. Also, that I forgot to add Rooted to that attack chain.

Now, Shannon.. sigh. pftt. *facepalms* sigh.. Okay, two questions. One, prove why this is a bad build for taunting and Two, provide me with a solution. Go on. hehe.
  8. You've made some good points General.
  9. Yeah, gotta balance my finances, then when I get my own place I can return to whats fun here.

As for uniforms, think Star Trek or the Fantastic Four, Dante.

Why not have two costumes; the new Militia spandex and Amber's trademark leather jacket look.

Sensible advice/comments please. Don't post if you don't REALLY know what you're talking about.

Edit: Do consider that the Presence Pool has been included not just for the control capabilities, but also for concept: [u]Mer'de is a Giant[u], when fully grown is over a hundred feet tall. hehe!!
  11. Essentials as decided are: Gloss Tights, Top Stripes 1, Bottoms Stripes 3 and the SG emblem 'M'.

Colours are based on the colour of your AT-icon.

I'm afraid I'll be away for a long long time. Will see you guys early next year at best.

It's been ace, see you soon.
  12. As a Phoenix, these are the requirements for promotions:

To be classified as Embers, you need 10 PP.

To be classified as an Igniter, you need 20,000 PP.

To be classified as a Firestarter, you need 150,000 PP.

To be classified as an Inferno, you need 300,000 PP.

To become one of the Hellbringers, you'll need 500,000 PP.

(Rank titles are to be updated in-game)

  16. Wait, what? Who is holding out on Hot Feet? We are soldiers, and should always [u]choose[u] overkill.

AM on Toki's word. If we pay attention, it'll be easy to keep the rhythmn.

True, there'll always be the odd man out of sync due to whatever, that is expected.

What is important is never to hold back. Full on damage, damage, damage! We're a superteam.

I'm sure the spamming was out of frustration.. lack of, or poor teamwork does that. No big deal.

I am still mad at Jason, but I'll go see him tomorrow to get it hosted for download.
  19. Oh Shannon comeonnn. With an attack chain of BU > FA > Siesmic Smash > Heavy Mallet > Stone Mallet > Siesmic Smash and finally another Heavy Mallet dropped Shin Kage. And he's one of those untouchable Energy/Energy Stalkers with off the chart defences. Even got Stone Fist at the ready for any lurking -rchg. debuffers. Talkless of Icicles running too.

And yes, with Hibernate > Hoarfrost > Aid Self > Aid Self > Aid Self > Hibernate > Hoarfrost > Aid SElf etc. I am indeed be hard to drop. I hunt stalkers for toe-to-toe face off's mainly. You're more likely to find me in PvE than PvP anyway.

You never played a high level Stone Melee Shannon? People often underestimate it, especialy when compared with Super Strength. The two melees really are quite equal in sheer damage output. You'll see if you have a look at your Hero Planner. Energy Melee could actually be the bestest choice what with Energy Transfer's . But years ago, when I made this tank, I chose Stone for concept reasons.
  20. Yeah, I'll be hunting with you guys in Boomtown early Sunday.

Who missed the Positron Task Force?
  21. I'll be playing about tomorrow evening I think so I'll be sure to take a screeny of colourful patterns.
  22. Keep your invis buddy, if you like it, but yeah, I would'nt use it for defense, it'll only drain your endurance. The defence bonus is flattened down to a third! So if it's buffing you by 7.8%, it suppreses down to 2.6 in a battle.

I've almost finished work. How was/is the TF?
