*eats all the custard out of the pie leaving only the whipcream and pie crust*
Hello Dragon Shadow and welcome.
Does he know what he's getting into? -
Quote:I would assume he is saying he is glad the farming/pl'n part of AE is dieing. People using it as it was intended will of course continue to do so.
Playing Daniel Webster here, but how could you not have expected AE could be farmed? And if you expected it would be farmed, then you can argue it was an intended consequence, otherwise the Devs would have built in ways to limit or stop it. I argue that the Devs wanted to move farming out of the regular game and isolate it in AE, but they didn't realize how much easier they made farming and didn't anticipate how much it blew up the game. -

Quote:And for the record I used to play full contact american football with no padding as well as rugby.
Victory seems to have a lot of Europeans not just brits, we in Eurocore have 3SGs and 3VGs full of them. (www.eurocore.org)
That's because we're above Virtue so you always know where to come for quality. -
*ties rocket to Fedor's car and lights fuse*
now it will go real fast. (evil) -
*paints Fedor's new car red*
Now it will go faster. -
Quote:As far as the topic goes - it seems like it is mostly mental abilities that cause this sort of play this sort of way. I've never had character with super strength tell me that they broke my legs and I can't use super jump anymore....
I've never had any of this happen to any of my characters and it truly amazes me that this would happen blue side. (Red side is different.) How can heroes act that way. Someone sending me a message that they psi-seduced me would get a reply that "you have been beaten to a bloody pulp and arrested. Now, 6 years later, after you are out on good behavior, I ask, Have you learned your lesson?"
Really, aren't we all superheroes here? Can't we at least behave like superheroes? -

Ran for the first time in a group last night and noticed those XP. Course, I was playing a 50. I think it will make my much more likely to run in any available TF so that is a good thing.
The worst thing about i16 is ... I can't get out of Icon! Just have to keep tweaking one more thing. (Missed out on a MITF too because I wanted to get those colors just right and the team was full when I finished.) -
Londer! Haven't seen you in ages. Welcome back, if your back.

What was that?
The ravings of a lunatic mind
So if she's not going to check back for comments, why post a comment in the first place? (I won't even address the incoherence of the whole thing.) Should I feel guilty acknowledging that I found that post hillarious? -

Stout! Blech! Sorry Guinnese fans but that stuff just is undrinkable, at least to me.

Hello all.
Happy Irrevelance Day.
What's that?
Don't know, but it sure sounds nice. I like holidays. We need more. -
Quote:As a somewhat casual player I still care about what drops in my missions... but what everyone else is complaining about (lowered drop levels, crappy drops, etc.) is what I have always thought of as Normal. I've never gotten good drops; I'll get crappy training io's and the two people to either side will be going on about the purp they just got.
Have you been looking at my characters?
No, he's just channeling your own lousy drops -

I have a little different take. If you are featuring them and what the character is doing is completely within their normal character, then you have nothing to worry about. You probably should ask but I don't think it's a big deal if you don't.
Now if what you have their character doing is different than their normal actions, you absolutely should get approval. If someone wanted to us Peterbilt to frame someone for a crime, Pete wouldn't mind and neither would I. But having him rescue a hero or stop a bank robbery, you better explain your reasoning but that boy would rather participate than stop it.
(I should point out that there is a Virtue Peterbilt that is not mine who is a brute on Champion. Just so there is no confusion.) -

Hello all. I went and changed ... nothing. That's not that I have a lot of ideas, just didn't want to spend my evening at Icon.

two of the last 3 ITF someone on my team, not me, got a purple. antidotally, 2 in 24, 1 in 12 or about 8% drop rate.
(on the other hand, 8 in 300 is about a 2.6% drop rate.) -
