Nobody else has any improvements to suggest?
I do have a slight update - you get a tad more regen by slotting 2 Numinas in health rather than 1 Numina, 1 Regenerative Tissues unique. Also, if the fury proc is fixed to be a standard ppm, it looks like it would be better to slot it with the 5 others to get a minor (2.5%) s/l resist. Here's the updated build:

Losing lots of stash is a bummer.
My market niches seem to be dead too. On a positive note, I have some billions more than I thought since the Unbreakable Constraint niche ended on the sell cycle. So to whoever bought all those hold purples for 400M each pre-converters, thank you. That more than counters the mid-level LOTG niche I ended on a buy cycle that left me with stacks of recipes I payed 100M for.
It does seem to have worked out that way. Got a purple running two of the arcs, and made almost a billion while buying a Ragnarok set. (2-3 bids per IO, flip the unused ones) It seems almost impossible not to make inf in this game. -
The plan is to go rebirth, the current (incomplete) build doesn't seem to have enough healing with just Energize. It also seems a bit more team/league friendly. However, I'm not locked into it and Barrier sounds like it would make for more survivability. The best bet may be to get one of each and switch around. :-)

I'm trying to return to the game, and instead of picking up where I left off with one of my mains, I've been playing a bit with a neglected brute. With only minor IO sets and some frankenslotting, pre energize and with stamina as one of the 4 power pools, he still did just fine in iTrials. Something about capped energy resists. . .
So I've thrown some inf at him. A perfect build would have perma-hasten and energize, while softcaping smash/lethal (to 45%, not 59%), and be within a small insp on en/neg, fire/cold (32%), with some HP/regen bonuses. Clearly these are mutally exclusive, but I think I've come close enough.
Here's what I've come up with:
43% smash/lethal, 23% fire/cold, 24% en/neg. Hasten is 14 sec from permanent, Energize is 5 sec away. Both are perma if T4 Spiritual is slotted. Just to try something new I was thinking of Vorpal Radial Judgement, for the 10sec of defense.
What do you think? Any slotting errors made? I'm betting some of you can improve the build.

So I'm trying to return to the game with the limited time I have to check out all the cool new things NCsoft has been spamming me with. First thing, check my marketing characters to see where I stand.
Wow. That's a lot of filled bids. See, I was clever and stored inf in lowball bids on things that I figured I could always use or sell for a profit if the bid ever filled, like glad +3's and the purple damage sets. Of which I now have a lot more than I ever expected. A careful tally puts my total liquid inf at only lots of billions, instead of lots and lots of billions.
To those who got that extra 'lots', you're welcome. Keep it. I'm going to be too busy checking out these signature arcs, the new DA, and Incarnate stuff to go get it back. -
Thank you for the feedback, Deacon. Good catch on Hot Feet slotting, I think I was focused too much on set bonuses and didn't notice the sub-optimal slotting. Sonic Cage has the endo's in to give enough magnitude to (hopefully) cage LR or the Heroes in STF/LRSF. You're right that the second recharge isn't needed, so I took it out. Based on this thread by Linea, two ought to be enough so I've freed up that slot also.
Tough doesn't seem that useful in the build. Any S/L damage is already mitigated by 45% defense, what it needs is protection from other damage types. A possibility would be build for the ranged soft-cap, then slot tough to help mitigate S/L more, but that seems harder since there's no epic shield that grants ranged defense.
Bonfire is back out, replaced by another pet power so I could add more damage to the fire imps without losing the pet resist uniques. Might use it as a mule to add the two pet defense uniques also.

It may be time to revive my long-neglected Fire/Sonic. He had a rocket ride to 50 as part of a f/rad superteam, but once the 6 stacked AM's went away, endurance use became crippling and he was relegated to marketing droid.
But now I see some hope; perhaps a few of the billions he's earned and the incarnate slot can make him playable again. My goal is to be useful on high level teams as well as lower level TF's while maintaining enough solo ability to (for example) run Ramiel's arc. Thus, maxing recovery while still hitting S/L softcap was the goal, with +recharge a secondary goal.
Instead of using a cardiac to help with endurance issues, which will disappear when exemping, I think it may be better to slot sets for control/end and use a musculature to fill in the missing damage. He uses a speed-on-demand bind for hover/fly so that stays as his travel power. Mace Mastery for the +def shield and extra -res, but I'm not particularly attached to that if there's something better, especially since I haven't unlocked the patron pools. Never used bonfire, so I thought I'd play with that a while. Tough is just a Steadfast +3 mule. Imps will have +61% resistance so I think they'll be survivable. All I/Os are level 35.

As a quick update, you are right, the Lysosome Exposure HO's do not work as defense buff enhancements anymore. After putting two in, combat attributes still showed only 7.5% def. Two Def common IO's would appear to be the best slotting for the Protector Bots.

You're right though, if HO's are changed to eliminate the +def/-def equivalence I'll have to swap a couple IO's in.ideally you want 2x def IOs in prot bot not the Lysos. These will then give you an additional 11.18% bubble defence on ur char (22.36% to other bots). Swap the slotting of fluffy around with fearsome stare so that fluffy can benefit from more acc/debuff/rech.
If possible try to slot in the edict 5% def unique into 1 of your pets too, then you should be good to go
Your suggestion to swap slotting is a good one, I've done that and shifted power order a little to make exemping work better.

Can anyone confirm Lyso's will still work as a defbuff in the protector bots?
Mids shows Fearsome stare as having 20% chance to add mag 1 fear, which would affect a boss. I don't think I've ever seen this happen; is Mids wrong? -
Breaking out an old, neglected character, pre-IO's so slotted with mostly 53 SOs. Looking build comments from those that have more recent experience with this combo -- which would be nearly everyone. :-)
Tankermindish build. No specific application, generic solo/team/AV build. Last two empty slots are for Health (Miracle/Numina proc) and Stamina (Perf Shifter proc and endmod).
What I'm not sure of is:
1 I think it's softcapped for all positional and smash/lethal. What have I screwed up with the build?
2 are the other pet aura uniques worth enough to slot, and if so what should I lose?
3 is provoke underslotted, esp for accuracy?
4 tough is unslotted, it just opens weave. Is it useful enough to pull slots from somewhere else?
5 do you think end will be much of an issue?

For everyone running on teams with a lot of leadership toggles:
Powers/fanfare1.ogg is the trumpet sound all three of them use. Eliminating it leaves a nice, muted, generic activation sound that actually is rather pleasant.
