This looks so much more up to date than the old archaic forums.

So, because the forums abandoned me... I was "forced" to open a Twitter account.

I forsee some people having a problem getting in... They will try to register, You guys should note someplace people might look that they dont have to... They just log into here with their game info.

Perhaps I am just burned out but I have kept my subscription active in support of what I believe has been a truly great game. I just have not logged in for about 6 months and I still find no desire to log back in which is why I have finally canceled my account. I just feel there is nothing I can make anymore that I have not already made.

Like I said the ability to color change completely is what I wanted and would have opened many possibilities in what I could have made. I use that rubies thing as an example. It may be their decision for artistic reasons not to do it, but they lost me because of it. It would be fair to say that they may have lost me after a few months even if they allowed it, but I guess we will never know.

I suppose my problem boils down to the fact that I feel like there is not a single thing in the game that I have not already done or explored, and even the content I have not done doesnt feel different from everything else enough to get me excited. I suppose it's just my time to move on. Owell, I can't really bash the game, I have about 60 months in vet rewards. Can't say I didnt enjoy the time. I just wish there was something they could do that would save me from leaving so that I could enjoy the game again and I was hoping Issue 16 would be it.

After about 6 days of looking, and then finally getting the address right... I decided to donate money to the ASPCA in the name of Castle, Positron, Babs, and the rest of the CoX team...

They should get their piece of paper/picture of the animal they helped in about 4 weeks >.>

I hope they add that message thing I tacked on to the bottom that says something like "Hey thanks for being awesome devs and bring us all Issue 16"

Or they might look at it and think its spam or something.

By the end of a 4-5 day con, everything below your navel hurts, your feet and legs have been pounded into something roughly the consistency of warm jello and you wonder how people who work retail for a living do it (aside from a masochism so profound that you shudder to think of it).

It's not just a lack of walking that does this - I live in NYC where you have to walk a LOT. I'm fine with walking. The cons drain me nonetheless. It's like going to a museum or a mall cranked up to 11. The pace of walking is slow and awkward, you're looking at all sorts of interesting things all around you all the time, and you're bombarded with constant social interaction. Just draining.

I don't go to Cons because I am forced to interact with strangers... and then they say things like, "wow your very personable" and then I am forced to be even nicer, because that is how I am... and then... I eventually go home with new friends...

When you have the freedom to make your own hero with ANYTHING available to you.

This is what happends. 99% of people in the game make the EXACT same power choices. And 1% of people "rough it" and make something creative.

Look ma, I can heal myself. I can herd stuff. I can blast stuff. I can do everything all by myself. I really dont need anyone else.

Sure statistics are all conjective or whatever. BUT that is what I have seen in games OFFERING such a feature. And BALANCE makes everyone even MORE the same.

Why bother calling this that when they do the exact same thing.

Really, while the grass may seem greener someplace else. I think the grass is Greener right where I am.

Earth Bubble might be the most slow boring combo ever...
You would do next to no dmg for a really long time...

I think the contacts should be more streamlined to that... and I think all those "extra" contacts should give 25% more exp for doing the entire arcs.

That would be more exciting.

Should be an interesting project to solo an FF/Elec all the way... since, you know, Defenders are so "weak" solo.

Over the past year I soloed up a Force Field Rad Blast Defender. (I played on hide... I actually have some stalkers >.&lt

If you wanna try something new >.> do that SOLO. Its interesting... to say the least.
What I did... was go the old follow the badge contacts all the way up...

This is my guide for soloing.

I hit every contact that gives one of those badges... by the time my character is 50 I feel like I accomplished something for real.
