Well, the snails pace continues unabated!! I finally finished my end of the trade with Marty Rallner a.k.a. *Zerry on deviantart.com. He made a sprite of Pep Rally for me.

Here is his character,

Trix St. Germaine , a mind/psi Dominator who is a bit of a cat burglar.

In honor of Adam Warren's new graphic novel, Empowered, I went and found my B pencil to use along with my trusty 2H mechanical pencil for this drawing.

Well, it's that time of year again when I procrastinate until Dec. 23 and throw together a new Christmas card for all my relatives, so I don't have to fork out the cash get them real gifts. I've been doing it for like 8 years now, so it's kinda a tradition. They are usually kinda corny since I have to give them to my aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
Anyway, I've come to think of you guys as somewhat family, so without further ado, here's my xmas card 2006:

I got some coloring done this weekend. Here's an update.

If anyone can give me some advice on how to draw lightning in photoshop it would be much appreciated. Also, I'd like to make a night sky in the background with some stars and a moon, so any advice on how to do that would be great, so if you could just go ahead and do that...mmmm'kay. grrrreeeaaaaaaat.

I also think there was a shark headed villain in Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon named Mako.

i just got a visual of Juggertha as a Department store Santa Claus which would have scared the crap out of me as a kid. Nevertheless, great job Juggs, and it couldn't have been for a nicer guy.

Thanks Brandon, sorry for the wait, but for a multitude of reasons(busy-ness, lazy-ness, A.D.D.-ness, slow-ness, still-learning-PS-ness) the finished product has been delayed.

Don't feel bad about not seeing much of my colored stuff, because you piece is only my second using digital colors.

Anyway, without further ado, here's the latest update on Crimson Storm . I hope you like it, and again, sorry for the wait.

Any advice from any of you PS masters on how I can improve would be appreciated as well.

Hey, I'm glad I popped back in to check out this thread even though it's gotten really long. Great work there Alex.

I thought I missed the que, but I believe that's my character, Caterpillar Girl, flying there next to Farwielder, unless someone else has a Caterpillar Girl. Thanks Alex!

Oh, and for the key guy, Atomic Knight is actually the one below the one the label is pointing to. I'd know that bucket o' bolts anywhere. He's always tinkering around our base. You never know if that coffeemaker-looking thing will give you your first spot o' joe in the morning or project a hologram on the ceiling.

I can't wait to see it finished!
