Ahem. My problem with Night Widows may seem a little petty, but it is mine: I dislike the idea of an enemy requiring certain inspirations or certain powers, in order to do anything against them. How many yellows am I supposed to carry in a large-team mission, and what's the target number of times that I'm required to leave the mission to go restock? Or, alternatively, if I should happen to wind up on a team without someone using Tactics...what member of the team should give up their spot so we can find that person? It all rubs me the wrong way, and smacks of [censored] other MMOs have pulled.
Academic and aesthetic senses aside, as long as my Singularity or henches or teammates can see them, then whatever.

When my corruptor takes on *ANY* enemy set who can hold, stun or mez, I *MUST* carry break frees with me or I can pretty much can kiss my [censored] goodbye.
These groups include rikti, the lost, tsoo, longbow, freakshow, devouring earth and others.
I guess the point I'm trying to make is pretty much everyone has to carry inspirations depending what enemies groups they face, if they are soloing. -
I didn't read the entire thread, but I'd like to bring up two points:
1) Clicking a yellow inspiration will allow you to see again, and boost your accuracy for the duration of the inspiration, basically negating most of the effects of the smoke bomb.
2) The night widow is no where near as nasty as some of the longbow wardens. -
Permenant patron power pools is just *WRONG* on so many levels.
I'm sorry, but not allowing respec is just going to have people starting all over again because they end up picking the patron power that sucks.
And please don't tell me some patron powers won't suck. We've all seen various power sets, both primary and secondary, that people don't pick because they are simply under powered.
And what happens if a particular patron power gets nerfed and changed to hell and back, are those players just stuck with those powers, even though those powers no longer resemble what the player originally signed up for?
Heroes can change their epic pool powers whenever they want, but villians can't?
We can't betray one patron for another?
I'm sorry, but thats just piss poor IMO.

I never had longbow drop my toggles until level 40.
I'm a ice / ice dominator, I run artic air pretty much 24/7 when I'm in missions. For 39 levels of longbow I never had my artic air drop, except sometimes from the endurance sapping spec ops.
Then, suddenly, when longbow hit level 40, they started hitting me with some kind of really short term stun. The all caps red letter STUN message appears by my name when it hits. And my artic air is shut down.
I'm full on stamina, just my toggle is shut down.
So I got a healer friend to help me test the longbow, we killed groups of longbow, leaving just 1, to see if that is the longbow that is dropping my toggle.
It turned out to be the nullifier. Something changes when the nullifier hits level 40. Suddenly, one of the nullifiers attacks (I believe its a grenade type attack) has enough umph to invoke an extremely short stun effect that drops all toggels on the effected villian.
This is overpowered, IMO. Not once was I able to resist the stun effect, even after using 6 lucks. I brought in a brute friend to test the nullifier, and even the brute was unable to resist the toggle dropping stun.
