Having just gotten VEAT, I rolled a AS, wich I will take the spider way, due to team mechanics, but I was wondering about the arms on the back pack. Do they have to stay out all the time, or is there a way to get them to retract into the backpack??

The spider is cool so far, but it's a bit annying seeing the arms flail about when not in combat, hance my question..

I15 really seems to be taking it's time to reach live servers, must have been some last minute bugs to fix, and maybe some polish, and then more testing...

But it's still taking a tad too long imo, but that's just me

Any news on when it might go live??

Well, let me start from the beginning. I got some problems a few months back where upon exiting a mission redside, that char's chat and everything associated with it got screwed up for some reason, but by sending a mail to support I got it back into working condition...

All well so far, but now I discover that global tells does not for work me.. I can receive them and respond, but I can't make any myself with out getting the syntax error msg, even thou my syntax is the right one, and I have confirmed this by talking to others in game.

Well, I sent a support mail, and got this in reply

:thank you for contacting the City of Heroes/Villains Customer Support. There is not a simple way to change your chat windows back to the default settings with the click of a button. The easiest way to return the chat windows to their default settings is to create a new tab called "Global" and include these options when you Edit the tab:

- Broadcast
- Error
- NPC Dialog
- Request/Auction
- Rewards
- System

Create another tab by right clicking the first tab, then select "Add Tab". Name this tab "Chat" and include these options when you Edit the tab:

- Coalition
- Broadcast
- Emotes
- Friends
- Local (default)
- Private Messages
- Super Group
- Team

This will create another tab within the first one. Now drag the new tab labeled "Chat" below the original tab and this will give you the top-bottom format. The next thing you will need to do is add a tab to your top window with the previous method, naming the new tab "Combat" and including these options when you Edit the tab:

- Combat Warnings
- Damage Inflicted
- General Combat
- Damage Received
- Error
- Healing Received
- Healing Delivered
- Rewards

The final thing to do is add a tab called "Help" to your top window and include the following options when editing the tab:

- Help (Default)
- Rewards
- System

This will give you the exact format as the default one. Please feel free to contact us again if you have any other questions or concerns.

Well, I have tried what the CSR said, but still no dice...

Anyone know what might be causing my global tells not to work??? It has to be said that they work on other chars, just not this one for some reason, wich I find very strange...

Your website only show up white for some reason... Are you sure your addy is right??

I know that, but after having been in some SG's redside, I have found that most of them have players that are on at odd times, making it difficult to get a team going.

That, or they have been abondened by players, since they have been very inactive, so that's why I asked for a big and very active SG for me to join.

I'll check your SG out a bit later today, and if I like what I see, I might just join you, but would like to take some time before making a final opinion before joining.

I got a MM in his mid 20's that's currently stuck, due to a lack of proper teams around.

I'm looking for a SG that can help me get him to 50 relativley quickly, and also one that is active every day, thus making it easier for me to find some one that can help me get to 50.

Any suggestions as to wich SG would fit my needs?

Having a 50 blueside has let me experience what the Epics are like there, and I would like to know how the Epics are redside aswell...

Oh, nearly forgot, I would like a SG without too rigid rules...

Don't think you can do much about the loading screen. The loading is directly conntected to your internett line/connection speed, and not the game as such.

You might want to invest in more ram, but seeing that you say your PC is getting old, a new PC might of do the trick... Oh and check with your ISP, and see what kind of subscription plan they reccommend for playing MMO games....

As for / commands, I have no idea, and I can't remember having read about it in the forums either, but who knows, there might be some commands you can use, but you would be better off asking tech support about those kind of things, since they should know (theroretically at least ) ... Good luck

Having played mostly blue side, I know where to go to get into a farming team, wich is Peregrine Island, but as to red side I have no idea where to go to.

Could some one please tell me where farming teams are starting red side, as I have no clue as where to look for them...

Hmm... Ok then, I better get into a good ans active SG.

But the few SG's I've been in have been very dead, with only a few players on at any given time (maybe 3-4).

Do you have any suggestions as to wich SG's are active, and most importantly, have many active players???

Is there any other ways than TF's?? They have a tendency to take many hours, and I do not usually have that many hours avaiable to play...

Right, I need some (maybe a lot) of help getting my main character to 50 on the Union server. He's on the blue side btw.

I have been doing my best alone, and with the few teams I can manage to find, but I'm stuck at lvl 35 atm... It just takes too long solo, and the few teams I have been in, some have been very good, and others have been, errr, not so good..

So now I'm asking for help. I would really appreciate if some experienced players could lend a hand and get my main to 50 ASAP Zulu, since I'm tired of being stuck, or not getting very far each time I play...

I've been at it for many months now, and would like to get on with it...

I have a problem with my chat channels. Yesterday, after doing some missions, none of the chat channels were working as they used to. Is there any way to reset the chat channels back to default???

I tried to restart the game, as that have helped on previous occasions with other problems, but it did not work in this case.

Any help is appreciated, and sorry if this is posted in the wrong part of the forums, but I have really little time to post this....

I'm thinkg of respeccing my Fire/Fire blaster, since I find it very hard to get into groups with him.

I really want a build that is good for primarily solo play, but also offcourse for grouping.

I have been thinking of maybe going the route of a build with pets, but what build would be any good for my purposes??

The pets thing is not really a must, but atleast I have given it some thought. Any other suggestions would be nice...

I noticed a lot of mapserver connection losses, when playing a new char in the Hollows not 5 minutes ago... It was really bad when not on a mission, but almost no mapserver disconnects when on a mission....

I do hope they can fix this issue as soon as they can....

For each character, under Badges choose Veteran in the dropdown. The rewards should be there with little 'claim' buttons, that you can click.

Thank you, that was the answer I was looking for.... It's not very easy finding this kind of information, atleast not from the CoH web site. (Not saying that it's not on there, just that I coulden't find the info)

One more question: Do I get a pop-up in game letting me choose my rewards?? Or do I have to use a / command to claim them??
