Quick question are we planning to make things even eg 10 of each archtype or we going to try a what ever shows up on the day sort of thing? Also will team speak be needed to co-ordinate the different groups? -

I dont know, i myself am i massive confuse user and i find it invaluble againts the right opponents, for example the all powerfull fully upgraded masterminds will have a hell of time trying to survive theyre own pets unless they have access to an antimez power to stop theyre pets from getting confused. Another good example being the time i went up againts a dark/dark defender in the arena, poor guy is all i could say as his pet constantly attacked him and even when his attacks where actually getting past the dark servants debuff's i didnt even have a need to use my own heals since his twighlight grasp's (AoE heal) would be healing me too thanks to the confuse's. Confuse powers have a lot more use in pvp than people think.
Just a recap confuse not only mess's with your opponents targeting reticle but also makes your own pets able to attack you as well as making your buffs and heal's work on your opponent too, while your debuff's can affect yourself and your team.
Being an illusion controller also means you have access to terrify which means the opponent is going to have a hard time running away to get/find a safeplace for the confuse to ware off.
As for the mez stacking its nothing short of ridiculous when you see someone with a whole lot of holds, confuse's and fear's stacked up and all the can do is just chug down breakfree's untill bam theyre out of breakfree's and left completly helpless. -

When in doubt you can always count on warburg rockets and shiv's if you cant get the right amount of buffer's debuffer's on the team. Only problem is actually going to the effort of getting them before hand...

I thought it would be a grand idea for us masterminds to unite and suggest which IO sets would be best for certain types of masterminds (sadly havnt had much chance to do any planning on my own mastermind for i9 but plan to in 2 weeks when coursework dies down)
For example a thugs/dark, well a any /dark master mind would benefit most from the following set's ... which would give the master mind a better recovery rate so that they would run out of end less often since dark tends to be a very end heavy set for a mastermind.
Then once we have a sort of catalog of ideas that have been reviewd criticized someone can just repost them all in one go so that theyre easyer to read. (also would be nice to see an increase in activity in the mastermind section of the forum

Was a damn good laugh and with the team make up a lot easyer than the first time i attempted this, So looking forward to the repeat performance
Handy tip to those that reach the final mission, make sure to bring someone that can do sleep it prove's to be an awesome way to keep the lv54 av's at bay and lets you do stuff like this while everyone proceeds with pounding everything else like the flyer -

Well the order of the crucified swords is still going despite a few members going awol for a while (hopefully they will return once i9 is back up) But we are still chugging along nicely despite most our members playing with heroes lately, We would most likely have started recruiting again if it wasnt for the 75 characters rather then globals thing since a lot of us have several characters each. Anyway the swords are still alive and kicking

Yup i know that feeling, so many good powers in /dark that can help you just wish i could get some spare slots on my robot/dark so i can put them in to some other powers in my own build...
As for the AI botts all prefer ranged so tend to stay closely grouped together so i dont have to worry much about chasing after them, that and i keep them on a tight leesh anyway -
looking foward to this and the start date is nice bit after my coursework deadlines, looks like i can get my lv46 a few lv's higher

Right first off twilight grasp should have a least 2 acc's since your going to rely on it heavily and you want to make sure that it hits every time and 2 heals and 2 recharges will ensure that you will have a steady source of heals throught the rest of your levels. With only 2 heals slotted you can practicly full heal your botts.
Tar patch i find only needs 2 recharge so you can take a slot out of that or put in a slow.
Swift not sure if you really want to waste 2 slots here since dark miasma really likes to be slot heavy to be any good.
No need for repair since you have twilight grasp and repair isnt really that good. I suggest putting shadow fall here instead.
Awssult and tactics i would recomend a second endred since dark miasma is a very heavy end build.
Assult bot take the endred and replace with dissorents since the only pets you have that have to worry about end are your protector botts which btw should have at least 1 endred.
Petrifying stare works best as 2acc, 2 hold and 2 recharge and since your getting web caccon which is slotted the same this works out brillaintly since you can perma hold boss's with the 2 working together.
Aid other you dont need either since you have the significantly much better twilight grasp. In its place either howling twilight which really needs only one slot and has great applications as a first strike move as well as a mass rez, or fearsome stare.
Shadow fall you should take a lot earlyer in your build since it really does help. Also slot another endred in it.
Dark servant Up to you on this one but its usually best to have a least 2 recharge in this one so its close to perma.
Health not really needed unless your 3 slotting guessing your using it as a filler i think you would be better off with vengance here even 1 slotted vengance is still damn usefull.
Right hope that helps you with your build. Going with the above changes will make you a monster during PvE. -
I agree with archy dont bother with tk at all for PvE since its really not that usefull except for when you have a confused boss and want to push him into several mobs. However once you reach and 50 and are considering going towards pvp then you can just respec in tk.

Apart from that i belive 1v1 illusion/ rad would come out on top while in the 7 man match it depends on the teams ability to work well together. -

Going to say this has to be the best hammi raid ive been in for a long time, no foul play on broadcast thanks to a certain person not showing up
and only one team wipe for the tank team (could have been none if i didnt jynx it :P)
Overall damn fine job done by all and a big thanks to callista for organising this one and cap for helping out with the organising.
