Anyway, I have gotten a little tired of the content here in CoX, but not the game itself. It's just a "lack of content" that is making CoX a little stale for me right now. I have a feeling though that there will be a lot of new content with Going Rogue. Maybe not even as much as City of Villains had, but who is to say right now. We know next to nothing about GR at this point.
I've been here for 5+ years and deep down still enjoy the game. I just need a little something new to keep it fresh. Shoot, even being able to side switch will keep me happy for quite a while.

I had a Soaring: Fly recipe, level 25 that I was goin to sell, there were none of that recipe for sale at the time, but there were 8 people with bids in for it.
So having just read your guide I knew that whatever price I posted this at I would still get the highest bid of those 8.
I figured I would save myself some $$ and posted it for 5, it sold for 234 when the previous 3 had sold for 55,000 or more.
I guess it is possible that this is the highest of those 8 bids but I doubt it. I don't think the highest bidder wins, I think all bids over the posted price have an equal chance of winning. This is totally speculation on my part though. Any hard facts as to how it works would be appreciated.

Actually, 234 probably was the highest bid. Many of us have ridiculously low bids for items we want. Just because you see 5 bidding and 0 selling doesn't mean those 5 bids aren't 5-10-11-25-234. That is the reason I stopped selling for 1 or 5. Put in the least amount of inf that you really want for your item. Take that as someone who sold fairy wings for 4 million when they were going for 15-22 million. Of course, that toon couldn't afford to put them up for more. -

Assuming this is the case, how do you stop yourself outlevelling the area then having to relevel something to 10 in order to sweep?

If you are more concerned about the drop than leveling the toon, go die a few times in a row. Get to max debt. Once you begin street sweeping, focus in on mobs that are -4 or -3 to you (minions will con grey or green). This will give you the least xp and half of that will go to debt. If you sweep long enough to pay off your debt, then suicide a few more times. Good luck.
