If we could get some local Tanks to start chatting about the event in the server channels it would really help the turn out. Or, if you know the most active channels post them here and I can make the announcements.

Indeed that was a good time. We managed to field two mission teams, who I believe, both ended up in PI. Our team ran a couple of radios then headed into the War Zone. I must say that was a lot of fun. Our team started as the "low team" so there was some insane leveling going on. I was really impressed with the level of play of all the Tanks on our team. There was a lot of Tanker chatter going on, build talking, hassling each other, and general Tanker craziness. We started at 8+4 difficulty then reduced it a little so the lower Tanks could actually hit. I'm not sure where we ended up (8+3?), but at level 48 everything was pretty much purple (the color of XP) to me.

Big Yeti, np, if we have enough to run State's I'm sure someone will know the drill. If not, although a bit rusty (and if on the team) I can help out...I'll remember everything eventually.... And thank you for volunteering to lead a group. It makes organizing the event much easier.

The only "big" weakness that I've encountered so far is Toxic damage. With Electric/DM you'll end up with three heals, or at least that's the theory I'm working with. Mine is around 26-27 and so far so good. I'll be working Tough and Weave into the build and would like Lightning Reflexes as well, so it will be tight.

I'll probably take all powers in the Primary except Power Surge and all but Smite and Touch of Fear (note: this is subject to change once I see how the toon plays). I'll also take the Fitness Pool for Hurdle, Health and Stamina; the Fighting Pool for Tough and Weave, and I will probably try to work in Hasten and Swift. Depending on what's left over I'll look at Fire Mastery and Energy Mastery for the Epic.

I've just picked up the Martial Arts Expansion, so Travel Powers aren't a big issue, but currently he has Super Jump.

Probably old news by now, but the Green Mitos are fixed for Hami raiding. I ran an impromptu raid Wednesday night and other than DC's, near DC's and the usual raid fun everything went well.

I'm having a lot of fun with Electric Armor. I have two currently, Electric/Fire/Fear and Electric/DM.

I have two builds on my Electric/Fire, one for normal use the other for Hami Raiding. On the Electric/Fire normal use build, I went for raw recharge the benefit being a 5 second recharge on FSC, the down side being not much Defense. I think when I get time to play with the build I'll see if I can get some more Defense in there. I probably could if I dropped the Fear aspect of the toon, but it's a themed build...so, we'll see. For the Hami Raider went for max Hit Points and Regeneration. Currently he's at around 45 HP per sec and I think will max somewhere between 70-80 HP per sec when I'm done.

I'm really liking my Electric/DM, having a combat heal (that does really nice damage) is a good thing, Electric Armor's Heal (End conservation and Regen boost), and Dark Consumption (I think that's its name...) gives the Tank three heals. So, he should be quite sturdy. He's only at 26 or 27 atm, but so far the combo has been fun to play.

Electric Armor has no resistance to Toxic, not that it's a common damage type, but wanted to make sure you knew going in.

I can definitely see how Electric/SM would be a good combo, I was looking at Electric/Axe before I decided on DM. Although I think all Secondaries would pair well with Electric Armor...

I wanted to thank everyone that showed up for the impromptu raid on 12th. It was great raiding Hami again and in spite of near DC's, DC's, and lag we still got him! Thanks to all the Raid Leaders and all the players that turned out.

Next Wednesday night Hami raid will be on the 19th, 6pm PDT\9pm EDT.

True, but they (Electric Tanks) get high Energy Resist and Endurance Draining Resist. I ran this with Faust 1394 and had a blast. He gets to sit this one out though, I'll either have my Elect/Dark, my WP/SS or my Invuln Elect on this run. Fire Tanks seem to do this one pretty well too.

Big Yeti, States TF sounds like fun. If we can get enough in range we'll run it. Any chance I can get you to volunteer for leading it? If you're up for it, I'll put the team together when we gather then hand you the star.

Sokyoku, a quick vist to the Tanker forums might be a good place to look and see what catches your eye. Also you can join the TankHQ and/or Tankers chat channel and see what folks think. Is there any style of play you're looking for in particular?

Correct, level range is 15-20, so hopefully the upper level toons running it should have Stamina. It's clocks, clocks and more clocks! (Electric Tanks should love this one)

I believe TBoxer was running some Tanker events on Freedom.

The Tanks are returning to Protector on the 25th! We'll meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PDT\9pm EDT and set teams. All Tanks are welcome regardless of level or Power Set. So, come on down and join the fun! If anyone has a TF they want to run please post it to this thread.
