Popular user-generated content system attracts industry and comic book notables to try their hands at mission design
NCsoft and Paragon Studios today announced the Guest Author program for the Mission Architect user-generated content system in City of Heroes. This program invites influential writers and aspiring game or story designers to collaborate with the team behind the City of Heroes MMORPG and publish custom missions directly into the City of Heroes game using the revolutionary Mission Architect system.
Participants in the Guest Author program will be announced on a rolling basis. The first participants of this program comprise notable industry veterans from the gaming and online comic industry:

Quote:Guess i'm not alone on this.
Also, i can do as many dev-digest or community-digest requests as I want in a row without any timers but am locked from doing searches for 300 seconds or more.
This has been fixed. Please let me know if you are still having the same issue. -
Greetings Players,
This message is just to give everyone a heads up that today at 4pm CDT (2pm PDT, 10pm BST, 11pm CEST) both the EU and North American Training Room servers will be brought down to publish the latest build.
The downtime will last approximately 2 hours but please allow for early release or an extension as necessary. -
Quote:The Digests are showing Dev posts made in closed beta. Is this because this is a smart script that knows that I have access to the closed beta forums, or, is this a bug that's showing folks posts they're not supposed to be seeing?
Smart Script that knows what forums you have access to. -

The City of Comic Creators have done it again. This time they are back with Compendium.
Quote:Hello again all. I am happy to introduce the third City of Comic Creators Compendium!
For those of you who read the second issue, you'll remember Doc Midnight left you on quite a cliffhanger. Now you can finally read the thrilling conclusion of "Enter the One-Eyed Janes".
After that we have another of the Legendary J-Man's comic series starring the detective J-Ranger, however he is not the same guy as the infamous one from the CoH forums.
Finally we have another entry by yours truly. In Justice-Knights: Obey: Prelude we go off the normal series path and actually follow some of the main CoH lore characters, Manticore and Sister Psyche.
Please remember that if you haven't yet, check out the links that surround the video. They take you to sites that have many different CoH comics!
Hope you enjoy this extra long issue!
The comic is at www.cohcomicindex.com

Quote:hahaha no, I'm just that quick.I never had an underscore, but I am requesting a name change, just because I'd prefer having the space in there instead of CamelCase. And if I can swing it, I'd love to have "The" added, because that's my character's official name, The Philotic Knight, like The Batman or The Green Lantern.
EDIT: HOLY CRAP that was fast, before I could even finish typing my sentence. I wonder if they have East Asians working on this at an outsourcing call center... hmmm..... Not sure how I feel about my name taking two lines though... I'll have to think about that one. -

Quote:How fast? I barely closed my mail client! As an aside, what is happening for the secondary accounts for those of us who own _EU and _NA (and one or the other is inactive).
Any chance of getting the posts assigned to our live accounts?
Those of you that have the _EU and _NA with the same registered email are being merged together. This is why I asked people to please mention if both names are yours. If the emails do not match the first one to email gets the name.*Not positive on whether or not the posts counts get merged.
Those of you worried about someone else emailing in and taking a name from someone with a _NA or _EU are safe. _NA and _EU get first priority on the "Proper" name. So those people without the _EU or _NA will automatically get their 2nd or 3rd etc. choice.
