Garent, when you are OAS you are indeed Immobilized for 10 seconds, with a "Phase" status indicated by the game engine. Pretty much the only thing you can do is retoggle yourself. You may be able to buff your teammates (Haven't been in a situation where all three teammates would be defeated at the same time yet) but unsure of that. Others can fire attacks at you but they will read "Unaffected".

I understand this but right now I'm PLing my /EA Brute farming 52 Bosses in my friend's custom mission, good times. At the same time, I use the tickets for Bronze Rolls and sell the proceeds for millions of infamy. I transfer this infamy to my other alts across servers and equip them with stuff I need.

I don't recommend new players or return players hop into boss farms though. They should explore the new stuff and new contacts and run them the long way.
As for myself, I've done most of the canon stuff.

I level for two reasons:

I need a new toon for PvP (go go Rad/Therm) or I want to try a new powerset (like my Energy Aura Brute). I'll be damned if I run through Snakes or Hollows another time. I'm rolling my new alt, heading to AE and PLing to 35. Then it's ITFs/whatever and then STFs/whatever.

As for the Market, yeah it is easy to make a ton of inf. I've personally cleared the billion on both sides. I find it dull though. I'd rather herd a dozen level 52 bosses into a corner, smash them and build up Fury than buy, craft, sell. I flipped a low risk, low return purple set for about two weeks a month ago. Cleared about 100 million on it and got bored. I made about as much selling Pool As I got in Architect off Bronze Rolls.

To be honest, as much as I like getting pools of inf off the Markets, if they put Purples, Respecs, Costume Recipes off AE or Merit tables I'd be even happier because I could use my abundant Tickets or Merits for those as well, instead of having to Market for them.

TLDR:

I farm to 22-35 so I can get Stamina/basic IOs/powers.
I use the Market to get rich so my alts don't have to play the game.
I'll gladly run any new content the Devs give us and write Cotnent through AE.
Don't take away my ability to pile tons of 52 Bosses, whether in AE or normal missions.

EnnVee, your point is a good one and we have had reps at the matches. Buck was around for the rematch the other night and NinjaVampyre or Buck are generally around for the Sunday events.

I think...in a 'casual-friendly' league like this, the less asshattery the better all around. People need to have fun with it then decide if they want to keep at it afterwards.

I just want to PvP. I would only PvP if I could level that way in this game.

The only matches I care about are my own but I get how it looks bad if someone is on a roster and in the sub pool as well.

If you want to be challenged, run an ITF with Enhancements off, Players debuffed and other settings. On Invincible.

*YOU* might be able to roll stuff over. When I team with my dUmbies we do 30 minute or 20 minute ITFs (mostly because I'm a slow loader), but sometimes I do ITFs that are one hour, an hour and a half. Players have vastly different playstyles, slottings, ideas of where and how to attack.

You can coordinate a Hamidon raid with newbies if you want challenge.
You can run a Hydra trial with people that can't follow instructions if you want challenge.
You can run a Master RSF run with new players if you want challlenge.

Challenge in this game is in how you coordinate and plan and execute your powers and team. Coordinated teams will roll over stuff, uncoordinated teams will not.

You can also add me to the sub pool. I'm ingame fairly often so if anyone needs a Defender or Scrapper (my current only 50s on Pinnacle, though I'll have a Rad/Therm soonish...and a Tanker) global me @Neuronia.

I don't see anyone using Tier2s or Tier3s. You can figure out if Enrages past tier 1 are being used by taking PowerNameValue+Damagebonuses+Inspiration bonuses in the combat log. A bit tricky/tedious but if it really becomes an issue... Also, greens are pretty eay to spot. I think a Tier one does +251 Health on a squsihy, a Tier2 is +260 or +270 etc...anyways. (Yeah, I've spent too much time in Arena matches).


Also, the new Arena settings make camping a little harder. Harder than it used to be anyway, where you could just target and follow a dead character and farm them immediately.

Yeah, dUmb on Infinity has similar speed runs. They use 4 Cold Defenders, a Kin and a few Blasters I think. GJ you guys

There wasn't any of that going on in our match. We got no complaints from Chibi, Moldy or Weather either...

Also, respawns occur on a 15 second rolling timer, followed by a 10 second 'Unaffected' period where you can retoggle as well, which should alleviate some of those concerns...

My Plant/Psi now has to use more than two powers from Psi Assault so that's taking some getting used to.

Villain SF:

Loads of fun. Nice cutscenes, very cool end fight as well with the various temp powers and nuking the Patrons for their essences. Was mostly a pug but we had a nice mix of powersets and though we didn't speed it, it didn't seem long.

Heroside:

Atlas Park mission done in a few minutes. Train Mission done in a minute. Train Mission done in a minute. Cave mission done in a minute. Delivery to Tina. Final mission that takes...longer than a minute.

Granted we finished well below our challenge setting of 2:00, but our decent group (1 Scrap, 1 Tank, 1 Kin, my Forcefielder, a Blaster etc...) took foreeeeeeeeeeeever to whittle down Reichsmann's hit points. Then we'd beat up an AV for 15 seconds and take foreeeeeeeeeeeeever to whittle down Reichsmann's hit points.

Got the badge on my badge toons, going to run it with some friends and forget about it.

Realizing this is the Independence Day weekend so not pushing this too much. If we can get eight, great. If we can't, there's always next week.
