  1. Nemorin

    Superthemeteam

I would be interested in this, but the only night that I could run (out of the ones you listed) would be Sunday. I currently do not have any characters on Defiant, but it might be fun to meet some new people.
  2. Hello Dead West and all you other Liberty villains!

I play Widow Song (Sonic/Sonic Corruptor) on this team and I just wanted to drop a line to everyone.

This is a great group to play with, fun people and fun ideas.

You can also contact me in game with any questions or comments:
    @Nemorin
    @Emerson

Looking forward to some gun slinging!
  3. Okay everyone, just a reminder that we're starting this team tomorrow - Thursday June 3. We'll meet up by Kalinda. You can be level 1 or 2 depending on if you like to go through the tutorial or not.

I updated the roster, but it looks like we still have one spot open for a "wood" element character. Even so, it looks like a great line up for the team.

Invites will be coming from Datura Desert. Looking forward to meeting and playing with everyone!
  4. Hi everybody! Just dropping in to see how everyone is doing, since we'll be starting this team soon.

The plan is to meet up in Atlas and go from there. Either level 2 or 1 is fine, depending on if you like to do the tutorial or not. Invites will be coming from Resonant Discord.

Hope to see you on Tuesday!

I should have mentioned it earlier, but we're actually planning to try to run 4 different teams this summer, if there's enough interest. The other 3 aren't on Triumph, but if the idea sounds fun you might want to take a look at the main post (link) and see if one of the others sounds more interesting. There's more detailed descriptions on our site -- click any of the headers to check them out.

That's part of the reason for having the optional SGs available, to make it easier to play on a different server than normal if a particular team strikes your fancy. With the new email feature, it makes it even better.

We've just starting putting together the team, so at this point there's nothing in particular that's needed. You have your pick.

I'll put up a partial roster a little bit closer to the start date with who we have so far, so that we can see if there's any obvious gaps that need to be filled. Since this is a theme team and not min/maxing, we're not being especially picky about ATs.

The only one that we're really trying to get coordinated is the black/white/gray "hero" style costume for slot 1. As for the street clothes and the other slots, go with whatever speaks "noir" to you, whether it's trench coats, dark and gloomy, etc. It should be fun to see what people come up with.
  11. The SG is just there if you want, to make things convenient. Our focus is on the team, so if you have an established SG on Triumph that you're already in, that's great too

Keep in mind that we'll be starting the team at level 2. We prefer new characters, as we find that makes it easier to get used to only playing it with the team, but if you have a low-level defender that's otherwise gathering dust I don't think it would be a problem. You'll just end up being exemped really low until the rest of us catch up.
  12. That's correct, it's on Thursday evenings. I'll update the post to clarify that
  13. Gray Accord is a small group of players who enjoy running static teams together, creating characters for the team and leveling them together from 1-50. This summer, we've decided to branch out and meet some new people.

We are looking for mature, casual players who enjoy a fun playing style to join a static team on the Triumph server.

    Knight Defenders (Hero)

The Knight Defenders are a hero team dedicated to the defense and safety of the citizens of Paragon City. An all defender group, they fight crime wherever they are needed. No task is too great or too small.

The only character requirement for this team is that you play a Defender AT. While a variety of primary and secondary powersets would be a plus, there is no law that says we can’t have two or three of something if that is what you really want to play.

As a hero team on Triumph, the Knight Defenders will have access to the Knights of Avalon orbital base. The KoA base has a complete teleporter set, medical facility, and extensive storage bins (if you choose to join the SG). The base is done in a clean and modern design.

Starting on June 1, 2010, we will be playing the Knight Defenders on a weekly basis on Tuesdays for the months of June, July, & August. While it is understandable that “real life” happenings take precedence, we ask that by joining this team you make a commitment to be there for the scheduled play time as much as possible.

    6:00-8:30pm Pacific
    7:00-9:30pm Mountain
    8:00-10:30pm Central
    9:00-11:30pm Eastern

    Contact Information

If you're interested in the team and want to sign up, or ask questions and get more information, you can either reply here, contact us in-game on @Nemorin or @MTS, or send an email to the address given on our contact page.
  14. Gray Accord is a small group of players who enjoy running static teams together, creating characters for the team and leveling them together from 1-50. This summer, we've decided to branch out and meet some new people.

We are looking for mature, casual players who enjoy a fun playing style to join a static team on the Justice server.

    Noir Justice (Hero/Vigilante)

Disillusioned by the impotent acts of heroes incapable of beating back the waves of crime from the streets of Paragon? It’s time to band together and dispense a new brand of justice. This team will begin as a hero team, but will eventually become vigilantes with the Going Rogue expansion. Noir Justice is based on the idea of the old black, white, and most importantly, shades of gray films. There are some costume requirements for this "hero" team, but any powerset goes!

While there are no powerset or AT requirements for this team, there are costume/power customization requirements for the first two costume slots. In order to help facilitate this, anyone choosing to join this team will be provided with costume salvage for the second slot.
    • Costume 1 – A "hero" outfit done in shades of black/white/gray. (Any color in the first row of the costume creator is fair game!) There is a great deal of latitude in your costume creation, but a mask of some sort should be incorporated. Powers should also be in the black/white/gray theme.

    • Costume 2 – A street clothes outfit again in shades of black/white/gray. Think the 1920s-40s as you create this outfit. Powers should also be in the black/white/gray theme.

(Check out the team link for sample pictures to help you with the "look" concept we are trying to achieve for costume #1.)

And while not required, working in some sort of theme in terms of names from the acknowledge Noir film industry would be a fun and unique way to distinguish this group from all the other teams running around. Film names such as The Big Sleep, The Big Heat, The Narrow Margin, The Letter, Scarlet Street, etc. could be incorporated into the overall theme for the team. Most importantly, have fun with your character and the concept!

As a hero/vigilante team on Justice, the Noir Justice team will have access to the Last Stand base. The Last Stand base has a growing teleporter set and functional workshop with some storage capacity (if you choose to join the SG). The overall base theme is one of warmth, a welcoming atmosphere to all members and visitors.

Starting on June 5, 2010, we will be playing the Noir Justice team on a weekly basis on Saturdays for the months of June, July, & August. While it is understandable that “real life” happenings take precedence, we ask that by joining this team you make a commitment to be there for the scheduled play time as much as possible.

    Power Corrupts (Villain)

The saying may be true, but is that a bad thing? Join an all corruptor team bent on wreaking havoc and destruction all through the Rogue Isles – and anywhere else for that matter! Power Corrupts is a villain team bent on creating as much mayhem as possible so that the weak and helpless will tremble at the mention of their names.

The only character requirement for this team is that you play a Corruptor AT. While a variety of primary and secondary powersets would be a plus, there is no law that says we can’t have two or three of something if that is what you really want to play.

As a villain team on Liberty, Power Corrupts will have access to the Knights of Avarice base. The KoA base has a complete teleporter set, medical facility, storage bins (if you choose to join the SG), as well as creative rooms that are a pleasure to view.

Starting on June 4, 2010, we will be playing Power Corrupts on a weekly basis on Fridays for the months of June, July, & August. While it is understandable that “real life” happenings take precedence, we ask that by joining this team you make a commitment to be there for the scheduled play time as much as possible.

    Dark Elements (Villain)

Harnessing elemental forces by hook or crook, each character on this team will choose a unique element that will help them complete their evil plans. Borrowing from several cultural influences, element choices include the following: Fire, Wood, Metal, Air, Water, Earth, Ether, & Lightning.

For this team we ask that members wishing to join pick a unique element. We will do this on a first come-first serve basis. There are no costume, origin, or AT requirements which means that you can feel free to use your imagination to the fullest extent. You can be a mad scientist that harnesses the forces of lightning in your diabolical laboratory, a fire breathing mutant that enjoys setting the city ablaze, or an adept with metal swords that are a natural extension of your arms.

Below are some suggested powersets for the various elements, but feel free to improvise. Essentially, if you can justify your power choices for the element of your choosing, anything goes.

    Fire – Fire/Thermal
    Wood – Archery
Metal – Swords, Axes, Maces, Guns, Traps
    Air – Kinetics/ Energy
    Water – Ice
    Earth – Earth, Plant
    Ether – Energy, Dark
    Lightning – Storm, Electric

As a villain team on Protector, the Dark Elements will have access to the Shattered Jewels Society’s cavern base. The SJS base has a complete teleporter set, medical facility, storage bins (if you choose to join the SG), as well as stunning visuals and an immersive atmosphere.

Starting on June 3, 2010, we will be playing the Dark Elements on a weekly basis on Thursdays for the months of June, July, & August. While it is understandable that “real life” happenings take precedence, we ask that by joining this team you make a commitment to be there for the scheduled play time as much as possible.
