    Don't confuse "athletic type" with "strong looking". No, Linda Carter was not muscular, but she certainly had a strong, confident look in her eyes - along with a great body. You either have it or you don't.

    Lame costume aside, I think the actress in question was indeed a weak choice. Though she didn't really exhibit "starlet wasting disease", in my view, she certainly didn't look strong enough. She just wasn't Wonder Woman.
