  1. Marketeering is bad for you.

Anyway, I'll probably create a new brute, first. Not ELA, but just something else I can toy around with and get started off properly with power customization.

Then, messing around with power customization on my other chars, with running a team set to 8x on my brute for fun if I've still got the time before I should head off.. Been looking forward to i16 for a while.
  2. For nostalgic reasons, I'm going to appreciate my thermal over my pain domination corruptor. For everything else, my pain domination corruptor wins. Now, I can understand why thermal's good. It's great for hanging back and buffing/debuffing from range. However, I like Pain Domination more for what it offers *me*. With Thermal, it's all about debuffing and buffing *everyone* else. With Pain Domination, I at least see some of that returned back to me.

Pain Domination isn't bad. Not really. It depends on playing styles and what you're comfortable with. I like what it offers. Does it mean that it's better than anything else? No. But it doesn't exactly mean everything's better than it, either.

    Thanks for the guide, Silas

As others have said, it's not that hard to get. I've gotten it farming PPs in the Fab in Grandville.

I'm really looking forward to the reduced costs for a lot of these badges, makes badging a lot easier on my main.
  4. If I'm on a PUG team and I notice someone's used a nuke, they have a nice habit of jumping out of said group and hanging back to recover some of their endurance, usually nowhere near something I could target. >> It'd be nice if blasters would stick around a little longer, it'd make kinning easier in that regard. :P

Although sometimes, Transference isn't always up because I just used a nuke, or someone else did, etc etc. >>

As for Ice Blast with kinning, I'd recommend it. Granted, it isn't lolaoedamage, but it's a nice addition to the -speed from siphon speed and for mitigation. The two holds can be very, very handy too. And we all know how awesome Blizzard is.
  5. *approves*

But it took you FOREVER to post this.

/agreed with the stealth proc. Almost a necessity if you like to speed run TFs/etc. Although, when all else fails, breakfrees are a kin's best friend.

/agreed on taking inertial reduction over combat jumping and super jump. I loves my IR.

Siphon power is extremely useful when the kin HAS to stay at range with other squishies, for whatever reason. I pump it out constantly (well, if it takes a while for Statesman to die) in fear of his silly attacks.

Overall, you get points for the guide.
  6. The cap is actually exactly two billion. But yeah, like others I'm all for actually -lowering- the cap. Inflation has gotten high enough, and it can be difficult enough to IO out new toons. It really doesn't need to get any higher. So, if it isn't going to get lowered at all, I'm definitely hoping it won't get raised.

Additionally, raising the cap would make purchasing influence/infamy easier - players could buy more of it at a given time, since they'd be able to hold more of it.

I definitely don't want the cap raised.
  7. I kind of want to level a /cold corr now, but at the same time not. You get points for the guide though.

Kinetics next, plz. With all of these new AE kinnies running around they'll need a few tips. But thermal's good too.

    NoooOoooO

With thirteen minutes left of 2xexp, too..

I can't log in either, it's making me sad.
  9. In all honesty I really do think we just had too many brutes. With our team, two healers and a kin would've done well - 7 brutes were a bit of an overkill. For the taunt team, two healers and six brutes (all with taunt) should do just fine.

Regarding EoEs, I understand the taunt team needed them too - but we (the yellow spike team) still ended up getting aggro from the yellow mitos. We aren't sure why, but we needed EoEs for ourselves as well. Perhaps it's just better to make sure everyone has some, as a "just in case" kind of measure? We tended to only use ours when we were getting hit, but we still couldn't exactly pass them all off to the taunting brutes with none for ourselves.

I agree on needing better organization. Things were a little..confusing, here and there. In time, though, I think that could be improved. As a start - setting rosters in advance (with alternates if needed) would be an additional help - difficult to arrange, but would be ideal. Had I known we needed healers more before I went in with my brute, I would've switched.

All in all, considering we haven't done a raid in about a month not too bad at all, and I'm definitely proud of our server.
  10. I've got a brute and three different corruptors I can help out with for this Hami raid. Just let me know which one'll be needed most and I can bring it.

SS/Invul Brute (w/taunt, only basic IOing for a Hami build)
    Energy/Therm Corr (basic IOs)
    Ice/Kin Corr (IO'd)
    Sonic/Pain Corr (Mostly SO'd, partially IO'd)
