And yeah, the minimum level is 24. I'll be bringing my level 32 Brute.

Last time we did it, we had a team full of Brutes and somehow managed to survive.
  2. Myself and Days are hoping to run the villain respec trial on Saturday. Any other volunteers out there?

    Edit: The first respec trial.

  8. You can get the mission via Ouroboros once you're level 25+
  9. Indeed *hugs shiny Numina recipe*

    Thanks indeed

I could bring my lvl25 Stalker along. Somebody'll have to teach me about the trial though since I've never done it before.

That'll make two of us then Moons. I've only ever seen the Thorn Tree during the Statesman TF
  11. Many thanks to all who teamed. That was fun.
  12. Couple with some others we've found, that's 6 of us now.

    Excellent
  13. Well I'm in. SF newbie here. Never touched them before, but I can resist the lure of the badge no longer.

So that's two Willpower Brutes (no taunt, but Taunt slotted in RttC). Who's next?

    CoX Funny Scenes

Nominating for Creative Award for January if they ever return
  15. I'd pick Placate up as soon as it's available and 3 slot it asap.

It, rather than AS, is your defining move.

Like I said, the West is far from perfect, but it's still miles ahead of anything else on offer.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Have you been part of every single other culture on Earth? You have no basis for comparison, other than what you've been taught by your singular culture.

We've got life so easy - so in that respect, Western Society is good. But without knowing other cultures (outwith of Western written "propaganda" (yeah, bad choice of word, but it's the point I'm trying to get over here), it's impossible to say it's the "best" culture...

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's the world's most popular culture, that's for sure - so many people people from other "just as good" cultures seem to really like the idea of living in the West

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm reminded of Dick Whittington - "The streets are paved with gold"

(Feel free to use the "certain point of view" quote any time now).

Oh and to the OP. Sorry about this. Welcome to the game. All that stuff

How would I know? All my information is fed to me via Western news sources - biased, condescending news stories.

A culture that uses it's own standards - however relaxed those standards might be to judge everyone else isn't really a free society. We in the "West" (where does that stop? Is Japan Western? Is South Korea? Is Western just a word that means "Not 3rd World").

It's easy to look down from your throne and go, "my culture rocks". But given that your country built it's fortune (if you forget its national debt) on the backs of other countries resources which have been bought, secured and "liberated" at a fraction of the cost they're worth in our "Western" culture...

Sounds to me like your paradise is built upon lies and is in no position judge other cultures.

Look, I'm arguing morals with an American - does anyone have a block of wood to replace him so that I can get a better chance of being heard.

How the hell do you breath all the way up their. And would you stop dripping unjustified moral superiority everywhere. It's very unflattering on you.

It doesn't just sound awful - it is awful - it's quite possible for an entire culture to be morally wrong.
And when that's the case, an effort needs to be made to change that culture.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    This is how wars start.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Unfortunately, yes. But it's not the only way to change a backwards culture.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I know. But I'm not sure changing the US can be accomplished any other way - after all it's the prime "backwards culture" in the world right now. Always so sure of itself. Not willing to change it's policies, even after they've been outed as barbarous...

Someone should take care of a culture like that...
