  1. I've been pretty busy myself - I'll be moving the 22nd (today!), and it'll be a week at least before I get net back. It shouldn't be any later than march 5th, and I should have plenty of time after that to sync up with you.

I did want to mention that I'd still love to give this a try, lack of recent availability nonwithstanding, and am really looking forward to getting this move over with and netted up again to pursue it.

Tank thought on his son's request, but no answer immediately presented itself to him. So he went to his brother Scrapper, saying "Brother Scrapper, I have a question about one of your children."

Scrapper immediately replied, "Reg didn't mean it. He's a good kid, just gets a little carried away."

That had me laughing for about four minutes straight.
... as a main player of a Son of Reg, this is so very true.
  3. I'll lend my voice and mic to this, provided I can get my mic to cooperate.

I've always been a fan of VAing.

Choices in TF's would be good too. E.g. The CoT are robbing component X, and at the same time grabbing sacrifice Y. You choose which to go for - and they get the other one, altering later mission choices or content a bit. This gives TF's a little more re-playability. So they may have sent an AV/Monster to collect the component, but if you save the sacrifice they will help you later on or give you a temp power for use against the end villain.

One idea I had that is probably really bad, but would be fun for lunatics like me. Have a mission to defend the Hospital teleporter network. If you fail - you die (or dropped to level 1 and all ench's removed). If you succeed you get something really cool, like a power set respec (e.g. from a fire/fire blaster to an ice/ice blaster). And also the bragging rights from the "Hardcore" badge.

    Choose your own adventure TFs/SFs!

That could be awesome, much like Borea's choices between hunts/doors.

Minor point: While we're on the subject, could coop TFs fixed be added to the master list? I've had to restart sveral LGTFs due to someone on a mixed team zoning.
  5. I believe the expression is 'Signed, and bumped for truth'?

Anyways, net lingo aside, this is the first MMO I've played, but not the first I've tried.

That is to say, I've tried a bunch, but they all bored me to tears - if I wanted to grind, I'd play the .hack series for the PS2, and get done with it.

CoH/CoX is the first one that hasn't bored me. So I can't really say I'm spoiled, just picky - and this game satisfies all the values of 'entertaining' I need to stay interested in it.

One specific I'll point out, from when I was trying WoW.

I wanted to stay in touch with other friends who I knew played it.
So I asked them, is there an easy way to get a hold of you in-game?

I promptly get list of a large amount of alts across different servers that's ungodly annoying to remember, and type up.

    Here?

"Can I gfriend ya? By the way, I also run a global channel."

Also, being able to just fly around wherever the hell you want is COOL.
In fact, it's COOLER THAN NEO.

I do have a wish that there could be more great, mid-air battles.

Say, a force-fielded map where you're fighting off waves of Goldbrickers flying in, defending a blimp - 2 miles above the surface.

Or a race for the SSrs; a run-n-gun with swords and power bolts flying, as you race down the Skyway Highway.

Granted there's issues with making that accessible to non-flyers, or non SS'rs, but one can always dream.
