I know I keep a lot of stuff private that I keep private. FB I use as a mean to see what is going on around the world. Most stuff up there is stuff I would show to random people. I guess YMMV.

Mine is nowhere near a perma dom(a true one w/perma hasten). I got around 80% due to the slotting I did with a lot of frankenslotting into the late 40s.
Flashfire is up enough where you do not need to worry about it, and cinders is up roughly every two mobs. When you have the big trinity hitters nothing lasts too long, and then with fire imps, everything goes down quicker. Also with hot feet running stuff should not be running too far when you hit the flashfire
The real problem you face is end, cause it is an end hog. -
Still you negating you main forum of migration with KU. If you are worried about NPCs running off then you are having a little bit of problems. I solo'd my fire/earth dom to 50, and never had problems like that, since everything was always knocked on the ground.
You main migrations from earth go like this KU ->Stuns ->a hold. -
Quote:What do you think of as flashy? I find it a bit flashy.I started a Fire/Earth dom about ten minutes ago and this thread is already helping. So, thanks. Going Mu for patron for concept.
Question to which I'm hoping the answer is yes: is this a 'flashy' combo late game? I'm hoping for epic and awe-inspiring.
If you start with Flashfire, or cinders. Then hit Ball Lightning/fissure, then finish off with tremor is looks cool, cause it looks like all the elements are pissed at them -
My build is not totally perma dom right now. I can easily hold off mobs pretty good. Tried doing 0 x8 run of nemesis, a little bit tricky but can be doable thanks to fault and flashfire. If you could get some def in the build go for it.
I went concept with fire/earth/mu, and it is still great. -
First off like others have said. Do not take Fire cages. Earth has wonderful migration in KU.
Second slot Seismic smash with damage, or sets like Crushing impact.
End recov could be a problem, it all counts on the build you run. I skipped pots cause the radius is crap.
So if you can get some half decent recov I would go either Soul or Mu. Mainly for their TAoE. Also Soul has the nice to hit buff. Then Mu has the best pet in guardian. -
My Earth/kin is in the mid 20s. I frankly love it, I find there is good synergy between the two. With the -def in earth some the the bag of debuffs/buffs in kin is a very nice combo together.
Also Pooman loves SB and ID. -

Heh if you only knew what real levels of creepy can be in the fetish world. This is a very mild fetish as someone said earlier in the thread.

Yup sorry if that came out harshly, I was rushing though that.
But yes, I found with Gash I was having more issues with my chain. With Quickness and 20% Global Rech. I can usually pull a half decent four attack chain. -
Quote:I am with you on this. While I do not agree with some thing TCS says or suggests. I think this is quite reasonable suggestion to put in.I'm aware of that, and I know the kinds of topics TCS has made before, and that doesn't make it any better. If anything that makes it worse, that people would be against this idea just because the person making it has a bad posting history.
And why would he ask a question about it, when he clearly already figured out that you can't refill Shivans when you have charges left? He learned the hard way and his suggestion is to make it easier for other people NOT to learn the hard way. But people can't look past his prior posts and feel the need to just be rude and insulting.
Shivans are used an extreme amount. So if you think "oh I need shivans" making a simple forgetful mistake you have some, you could get it refilled aside from nothing happened. Also Swell had a good idea with his also. -
Definitely down with this set. It does sound all around bad ***. You got my support if this was ever up for what is next to make.

Quote:Got an Axe/SR brute, and I skipped Gash on my build. In the early to mid levels I tried it out and try to make some chain out of it, and it never really fit in IMO.I'm getting close to the end of the road on a Fire/Earth Dominator and one of the things I've fallen in love with on said character is all the delicious knockdown that /Earth Assault provides. It's quite an addicting feeling, and I'm looking to create a new alt that can quench my thirst for enemies on their backsides. Battle Axe seems like it could do the job nicely, but I do have a concern I want to run by those more experienced with the set:
Style is important to me. It's very important, in fact, but I also like to be effective at what I do. To this end, the reason I've never bothered with Axe or Mace is that I find it disheartening that two of the attacks have almost the same animation. So all this rambling leads to: is it possible to skip either Gash or Swoop without cutting horribly into said effectiveness? Most of my Brute experience has involved a fast-attacking playstyle and I am aware that Axe is sort of a slow and heavy set, so I'm not sure if it becomes important to really have all the set's attacks at my disposal or I can get by skipping one. For what it's worth, I am currently planning to pair it with Electric Armor and will at least be getting some increased speed via Lightning Reflexes.
Hopefully that wasn't too drawn out of a question. Any opinions?
Swoop on the other hand I would not give up. It is a great power, does good dmg and is pretty much a guarantee KU. That is my opinion on this of course YMMV. -

Quote:Yes there is a few holes, if I can recall correctly from just the SF standpoint no co-op.If they were to add a few more villain strike forces and set the merits/hour on them to something favorable, that should bring down prices, at least on some high end things. I wouldn't call it a fix, but at least it's something. Isn't there a level range hole with no redside SF's at all? If I were a dev, I'd find that a bit embarrassing this many years after release.
There is 10-15; 30-35 and 40-45. There is trials you can do or Oro arcs, but there is no true Strike Force. -
