"I'm only familiar with my own weaponry, myself." Jake chimed in, seeming to at last have come out of his unfocused state.
-
"Crap..." Jake muttered as he felt his mind being encouraged to be teleported back. "Can you trace my location, because I think I'm about to be-" With that, he vanished, the familiar pop as the air filled in the gap taking his place shortly after.
"... Well... crap..." Wirespike simply said, putting on his goggles and attempting to follow his trail.
-----
"-gone." Jake suddenly said as a flash of light guided him to the location of the Resistance HQ. "... Damn..." He muttered, again teleporting his minions to his location. As he walked over to the location everyone seemed to be congregating at, he said, rather loudly at that, "What's going on? I remember hearing something about a video screen...?" -
Dennis looked at Martin and blinked, a bit taken aback at the man's sudden outburst. "Well, excuse me for defending an ally..." He muttered, floating to the ground and regaining his composure via deep breathing and shutting his eyes.
"So I assume a plan was made while we were off dancing with the good doctor?"
-----
Dusan shook his head, his eyes meeting with E-X's visor. "No can do. It'd be difficult to pick up her soul due to A) I've never actually been in the presence of her, therefore, I have no idea what it feels like, and B) The rest of the Council have souls, making it difficult to just pick out the one. I have mastery over souls, I'm not entirely adept at tracing them."
Dusan walked forward to join the group, eyeing Klaus warily shoul he attempt something else. -
"Wrong answer." Dennis muttered, slamming the good doctor with a good bit of force with both of his fists, right on top of his cranium.
He didn't stop there, being completely immune to the ice patch (Via incorporealness and the ability to fly) Dennis jumped back and blasted a concentrated beam of spiritual energy towards the doctor, charging up another blast for when the smoke cleared.
-----
Dusan sighed and turned to Martin for some semblance of sanity. "So, have any ideas on how to respond to our situation?" -
Jake nodded absent-mindedly, obviously thinking about other things. "Right, right..." His bots followed shortly after, stopping in a perfect triangle behind him according to rank. "So have they come up with anything, yet?"
-
"Sorry." Dennis said, suddenly appearing in the path of the liquid and letting it engulf his arm. "We're trying to be productive here, kay?" He quickly phased out of and back into existance, letting the frozen cast of his arm fall to the ground with a satisfying 'Thud!'. "And if you're not part of the solution..." He said, his hands suddenly glowing bright blue, "You're part of the problem."
"So what'll it be, doctor?" -
Dusan nonverbally declared neutrality, and stepped away from what he predicted would be an argument.
Dennis, however, did have an opinion on the matter. "The time to be stealthy is over, I'd say. Bladewing and Dax have pretty much got the Council's attention right now, so if we were to go in now, I'm fairly certain they'd deal with the guys tearing them to shreds before they guys just walking through."
He shrugged.
"But that's just my personal opinion. Whatever we decide on, we need to decide on it quickly." -
"I can 'convince' them that we're not here, er, that is, manipulate their souls to make sure they pay us no mind, but I can't literally conceal us." He replied. "If I couple that with a few decoys, as I like to call them, then we should be golden. Dennis can phase in and out of existance as he pleases now that I've tied him back to the physical realm, so he shouldn't have a problem."
-
Dennis sighed and averted his eyes to the ground. "Being a hero is just a license to kill for some, huh?" The question was aimed at those around him, namely Dusan and Hobo Ned.
-
"Loveable scamp, ain't he?" Dusan rhetorically asked, watching as Dax redirected his bloodlust to the poor Council troops inside the base.
Dennis gave a huff and crossed his arms. "So long as he doesn't try to start any conflict. I mean, we told him we were allies, and he still attacked!" Dennis was still clearly worked up about the previous situation, and wasn't going to take kindly to Dax in the future. -
*Steps in unnoticed and grabs the Speaking Gun, then rushes out*
-
I like to think of myself as sane.
Then again, many insane people do.
*Shrugs* -
Dennis untensed and returned from his fighting stance to his appropriate posture. Brushing some imaginary dirt off of his trenchcoat, he turned his gaze to Dax and gave a satisfied smirk, feeling confident that he'd won.
Dusan sighed and walked over to Dennis with the intent of telling him to be a bit less aggressive. -
"If you're not going to back down." Dennis replied, gritting his teeth.
((Dennis just doesn't take lip from someone. Granted that this really wasn't that bad, but being called back from the dead just to take part in a stress inducing task force isn't going to make you cheery. >.>)
-
Dennis's brow furrowed as he stepped forward as well, not backing away from this challenge. "I said we've been here since the start. Whether we're allies or not will be determined by your next move..."
Dusan sighed and moved off to the side. Dennis didn't take kindly to being under suspiscion. -

They've begun the take-over already! -
"Um..." Dusan replied. "Yes?"
"We've kind of been with the taskforce since the start..." Dennis remarked, being careful not to sound snide. -
It was then that the spiritual duo known as Dusan and Dennis arrived at the scene, Dusan rubbing his poor muscles which had been only temporarily gifted. "I always hate running long distances..." He muttered, groaning and having an overall unpleasant appearance on his face.
"Well, you could always die and become a spirit. I'm fairly relaxed right now." Dennis remarked, smiling to show he was simply jesting.
"Yeah, well..." Dusan said, rising up from his crouched posture. "If you find another demi-god with the ability to summon souls back from the dead, I'll consider it."
"Touche." Dennis replied, chuckling. "Anyway, it appears that we've gotten here a bit late." He pointed to the remains of thousands of Clockwork, all scattered around a sealed off Council base.
"... Oh..." Dusan mustered, clearly at a loss for words.
"... Snap..." -
Dusan let out a yelp as he just narrowly avoided a rather hazardous steel girder sticking up from the ground.
"Hey Dusan!" Dennis shouted from above, keeping up with Dusan's pace, "Keep your head out of the clouds!"
"Said the guy fifty yards up..." Dusan muttered, shaking his head to get his mind focused on the job at hand. -

OOC: East, Krazy? The Council base is in the west.

((*Blinks* ... *Rubs his eyes and blinks again* ... Could you reserve a spot in that third grade class, Chameleon? Apparently I need to retake basic mapping.)) -
"Right..." Dennis sighed, rubbing the back of his head, then added, "This day just keeps getting better..." He rose into the air and, before flying off to the battle, gave Dusan an order.
"Dusan, these are Clockwork. You can't hurt them in any way, so try to find the City Rep. instead. I'm sure you can distinguish her soul from the ones of the Council there." He flew off, not waiting for an answer, confirmation, complaints, or much of anything, really.
Dusan, not waiting to give an answer, confirmation, or complaint, boosted his soul and those around him, giving them incredible feats of speed. He sped off to the east as well, planning on 'convincing' a few Council to defend him when he got there. -
((Perhaps a visual aid is in order?
Just use Paint or something to point out where everyone is, 'cause I'm a bit confused as well. :3)) -
((And what about the evil mastermind behind this? Dusan's been sitting in a dark room alone now for several days. :3))

OOC: Jake got called by Toy to come over to the rest of the group where Grey is. If he's alone, it's only cause you missed something.
