I am not happy about loosing all the stuff I payed for, the rumours are flying about defiant and all the eu servers are going to be non vip players only. Thats no good for me. I played on freedumb for a week before and during the big event and nobody wanted to talk to me or team with me exept for a guy who only talked about his characters feet..
Defiant has a great enviroment for serious gamers and trying to force us to spread out to the American servers would be a big detriment to us. The server had also had a lot more players lately and with the big knowledge base among the veteran defiants I saw only good things ahead. Amongst other things the defiant server handled the invasion event much more handedly than than the freedom server. I honestly dont really see much joy in leaving defiant behind. So far this is just rumours off course but I seen a certain.. bias towards the American servers and especially the freedom server, so I would not be suprised if you suddenly decided to downgrade the Euro servers. Hopefully you will fix this problem soon.

I think it should be possible for minion masters to choose styles for their henchmen like other chars can choose colours for they powers. Zombies could come in vazilok (science), cyberzombies (tech), regular (magic), rage zombies (mutant) and ghostly (natural).
Gangs could come in campy batman gang (science), cybered street gang (tech), cultists (magic), emo/gothic (mutant), and regular (natural).
Robots could come in sterile style like the robot in the I robot movie with Will Smith (science), regular (tech), Italian renaissance style steam golems (magic), bio-crystal constructs (mutant), sinister techno organic terminators (natural).
Ninjas could come in cyberpunk future looking asian street gang (science), cyberninjas (tech), regular (magic), Night shadowy humanoids (mutant), and camoflage wearing ninjas (natural).
Soldiers could come in jet pack and blaster wearing flash gordon and buck rogers style minions (science), high tech mercs (tech), urban fantasy hobogoblins, kobolds etc (magic), secret organizatin in stylish suits (mutant) and regular (natural).
Demons could come in aliens (science), doom like cyber demons (tech), regular (magic), demonic looking biofreaks (mutant) and hidious call of cuthullu like creatures (Unatural).

As of now 01:44 9'th april I cant log on city of heroes. I cant even get into the server selection screen most of the time and when I did it showed all the servers as down. When I finally manage to find the server status page on the city of heroes page (by going through news of all things) It says that all servers are up expect Zcunfth which is sometimes listed as unknown.
Are anyone else having this problem? I am online as you can see lol.

Great idea for a powerset for a villian. But Void mercenaries works directly for the concil... So it might be a bad idea for players.

Staff for blasters/corrupters could just be a visual thing. I does not matter if its a laser in a cane or an eldritch staff of power. Blasters and other shooting archtypes could have it as an costume option.

Staff for Scrappers would be awesome! You could have all kind of cool animations and moves. Throwing people around, multi hits and heavy blows.

Having met him in game first I got to say that its a great character who really fits the pratoria storyline and theme.
He looks cool as well in a high tech brutality way with a human face.

I think the Council is cooler than the fifth column.
Their green uniforms and other gear looks more high tech and military than the death masked fifths. Don't get me wrong the fifth column is also cool.
I don't like the idea of council being removed from the game just because fans like the fifth column better. The Council took over the fifth column they did not kill them and moved into their bases. In the future I would like to see Council remain among the top villain groups. (Archanos, Circle of thorns and the Council). While the fifth column are a smaller group more closely knit and most often seen in high level missions. Fifth column is resurrected because one dimension have been taken over by their equivalent to the fifth column (which have the same uniforms, gear etc), and the column of that dimension contacted many other dimensions which had been taken over or was in the process of being taken over by their sister organizations. Fifth column is now an dimensional menace and the dimension that manipulates Reichsman into a leadership position over the Fifth column in our world have not been described by the game yet. Off course a lot of old villian defect to the returning column, including all the vampires, werewolfes and most if not all of the named villains who were in the fifth column to begin with. However in our world Council remains the premier fascist supervillian group but they change their tune a little bit so they are more like the military in starship troopers their ideology is that they want the council to rule and democracy is a lie which will weaken humanity so they cant fight the aliens blah-blah-blah. Off course the fact that they are ruled by aliens is explained away as being allied with the good aliens. That way Council is the sci-fi fascist group and fifth column is the horror/pulp fascist group.
