oh my winterminal i must be slow. don't see a macos folder. plz bear with me.

edit: lol just realized you meant in the contents folder of nclauncher

ok got terminal launcher and then it quits saying the application nclauncher quit unexpectedly asking if i want to ignore, report..., or relaunch.

to clarify:

the nclauncher on my doc has a white circle with a slash thru it. when i click on nclauncher i get "you cannont use this version of the application NCLauncher with this version of the Mac OS X.

i am running 10.5.7

"NCLauncher 10.5.8 Fix!
Hey all. I got my NCLauncher fixed, and was able to run CoH Live no problem. Here's the step by step:

1. Right click on your NCLauncher (which probably has a white circle with a line through it for an icon) and click Show Package Contents.

2. Open the Contents File. Open "info.plist." Use "find" (command+f) to find "10.6". Change that to "10.5". CHANGE NOTHING ELSE. Save, and exit.

3. Open the folder "MacOS." The only icon in there should be the one labeled "NCLauncher." Click it. It should open a Terminal window, followed immediately by the NCLauncher itself. DO NOTHING IN THE TERMINAL WINDOW. Simply close it.

4. Go to "City of Heroes" on the Launcher and click "Play Now." If everything goes the same way it did on my computer, the new version of Cider should begin downloading.

I was able to access the game without a problem, and my NCLauncher icon has returned to normal. I hope this works for you all! "

just in case any macusers run into this problem. it's under the player help/mac users forum. if you've never been there i'd recommend it.

same happened to my nclauncher. tried to warn friend and it was too late.

guess that' one way to take care of the mac problem.

gee swell. i got a notice of new nclauncher. clicked it and now it doesn't work with my version of os 10.5.7 [last version i care to have on my machine].

there are many folks playing during the daytime on guardian. i have two small groups that i run. really just holding my toons and a few friends toons that match the same theme.

i am fairly certain there are a few large multi-player groups out their in the mornings. look in pocket d as folks tend to gather there for several incarnate trials. just ask around and a few folks will suggest some groups for you.

i ran repair. too way to long to load and repair. took a couple of tries but i did finally get into beta. got the boxes but i could figure out how to purchase beam gun without reading anything.

i am running leopard 10.5.7

edit. hours later i'm unable to get into beta at all from nclauncer. tried deleting beta preferences and won't let me in still.

gratz on leveling up. would ponce on kay except restraining order says i have to be 500' away at all times
