It all depends on the type of woman you want; personally I'd rather be straightforward and honest and be able to talk about anything. I'm not a touchy-feely kinda girl though, and most flattery is bs that I don't appreciate. I've got to find a nice guy who loves comic books, action movies, and believes that honor, dignity and personal responsibility still exist. If he can read more than five books in a year and discuss current world affairs without insulting those with differing opinions... I think I'd swoon.

I told my mother that if I ever got married that I'd like to get hitched in a Las Vegas chapel while dressed as a superhero/Elvis/alien, etc. Something fun and crazy. I have the feeling that I'm never getting married, lol.

Imagine it's a Bio/Costume Contest, Dinah? With the theme of the contest being Honor before glory.

I don't know that UHB would agree with me, but I could see for example Batman being in this category.

His own personal image matters not, and in fact quite often he makes a mockery of his personal public self so that people pay less attention to him.

His real goal is to help clean up Gotham and regardless of how people perceive him, he does what needs to be done that others can't. Even when the public needs a scapegoat, he's willing to take that role because the good of the public comes before himself.

Hard to convey I suppose, but I think we'll see some fun entries.

Think of this contest as a bio/costume contest! Kind of like how PERC did their Mr & Mrs Contest. This one just has a theme, "Honor Before Glory."

We have decided that so long as your toon can get into the zone, which should make your toon 35+. Then you can enter the contest. So if the toon is entered but can not enter the zone... then you would not be considered present therefore it would fall under the rule of you must be present to win.

So if you can get him to 35 by Aug 1st by 6:00 pm est. Then you should be good to go Friar!

You know I posted this event thinking this would be fun. And was truly looking forward to running this just like any other event I have ran for this server. I am a proud member of my SG as well as a proud member of PERC. And I work very hard to do stuff for this server and not be rude or insult others in posts that I make. (unless its playing with people i am very close to on this server, who know that i am being playful).

I must say its very hurtful to see my event thorn apart and misunderstood after working so hard with Dazz to put on this event. Him and I as well as our entire SG busted our rears to earn the money needed to put on an awesome event for this server and to celebrate our anniversary. But when people start taking my event thread and taking personal pot shots at each other it hurts my feelings and truly upsets me. I deal with CK regularly, as well as you Felecia. I have never been rude or insulting to anyone. And I feel it was very rude and I am VERY insulted that you felt the need to take my event thread and make it your personal page to insult other members of this server and other player event groups. That is all!

I also have to add in we are sorry to limit some people entering the contest by saying, in order to be a winner you must be present. But it is a general rule. That I have used several times and find its best to stick by.

We understand RL emergencies come up, so if something does come up day of the event then please PM me here or ingame @Miz Nibbles to give me a heads up. Otherwise we really hope that everyone is planning on being there! We have alot of influence and prizes to give away and feel the least that could be done is to at least make the effort of showing up for the announcement and to receive your prizes so we do not have to hunt you down.

And I do understand that we get to know the people we play with and we feel they are honorable and worthy of the honor. But we are not doing that type of contest.

Details: Though UHB's motto echo's throughout the skies and streets of Paragon city daily, many may not be able to readily recall it. Honor Before Glory is UHB's motto and way of life. UHB's finest take strides to make new heroes welcome, team up alongside some of Champion's most recognizable, join others in completing challenging tasks, and coordinate with one another to make Champion stand out among the rest as one of City of Heroes' most honorable servers. In celebration of the 4th Anniversary of the United Heroes Brigade, a search has been created to find Champions Most Honorable Hero. Do you think you have what it takes to be given the prestigious title?

Judging Details: A panel of UHB members will make up the judging panel for this event. Submissions will be judged based on overall design, creativity, thoughtfulness, look, quality, aesthetics, detail, and thoroughness of costumes, biography, answers, etc. Most importantly the panel will be looking to see which superhero's overall concept best represents UHB's supergroup motto, "Honor Before Glory."

Rules:
1.) Only one entry per global.
2.) Hero submissions should be level 50.
3.) Winner must be able to enter RWZ and attend ceremony to accept award.
4.) All submission information must be completed and include at least one picture of your character included. Failure to send a complete submission will result in automatic disqualification.
5.) Contest is open to Champion Players only.
