Task Force Badges are actually being distributed right now. The process will take several hours, but don't be surprised if you're running around and a TF Badge just magically appears. Badges for very recent TF completions will be awarded in another day or so.

That was on the 16th.....it's now the 21st.
    Are they still being distributed?

(Last night, I logged on to Virtue with one of my characters.....he's still waiting for the badge for Positron's TF to be awarded, retroactively. I haven’t checked the others, yet.....)

    Thanks in advance....

EDIT: I read further....heh...sorry. I see that on the 18th, you indicated that you're working on it and that it was planned for completion yesterday.

So.....still working on it? (Just looking for confirmation, based on not having received one, yesterday....)
  4. Hmmm....there’s no origin forum, anymore. I guess this be as good a forum as any.

    -----------------------
    Chapter one
Although he was a direct descendant of Girolamo da Verrazano, Guy D’Vincent never took his ancestor’s writings seriously. They were nothing more than fairy tales about a mythical, mystical city of Sorcerers. In fact, his entire family had forgotten the true importance of those documents after they relocated to the Americas during the 16th Century. Perhaps this was why he never bothered to give more than a cursory glance at multitude of documents that had been passed down through his family....father to son....uncle to nephew.....parent to child.

It was the summer of 1918 when Guy first heard of Baron Zoria and his “Circle” of followers. He was intrigued by the tall stories that were being passed around the neighborhood by recent immigrants from Europe. He wondered about the local rumors regarding the Circle’s recent disappearance from the European Continent. They spoke of the Circle’s own silent migration to the USA. They spoke of dark rituals. Seeking.

He laughed at the notion; those rumors, whispered in dark corners of the local pubs, were nothing more than superstitions! It amused him that the growing Temperance Movement and the rants of various Suffragettes weren’t more of a concern to those drunken sots. Still, he recognized that the Circle’s “fabled” search for Oranbega was somehow linked to his ancestor’s documents. He pondered whether or not Girolamo’s writings weren’t something more than bedtime stories.

He decided to study the documents a bit closer.

    He was in the family’s library, beginning to closely scrutinize the documents (for the first time), when the telegram arrived. It read;

Re: Ancestral Documents of G. da Verrazno <stop>
    Would like to meet <stop>
    Discuss purchase <stop>
    Will arrive your residence <stop>
    8pm tonight<stop>
    Regards, Baron Z <stop>

Baron “Z”? Guy chuckled. Even if it was Zoria and even IF the offer to purchase the documents was legitimate, he knew that he would never part with them. They were a part of his family history. They were a part of him...fairy tales or not.

He returned to the library, the documents and his studies.
