Hero stats will prove you hitting the correct amount of times.

I have noticed that the game tends to make sure you meet the the miss quota by stringing together your misses which give the illusion that you are missing more than you should do.

My pb for missing was 8 or 9 in a row but before that handt missed for a fair bit.

Now i have my 2nd pet ive noticed Vermin gets the sharp end of the stick loads more than cowboy.

Yay found it!!!!!

If the damm forum had a semi decent serch function I could find it but alas its is lost.

I came up with a set called story teller where you summoned creatures from various myths and legends.

I would put a link to the thread but I cant find the blooming thing.

This is my first stab at writing the origins of The Marvellous Family. I hope people like it as I’ve never really wrote anything before, so constructive criticism would be welcomed.


CHAPTER ONE

A Humble Begining


The atmosphere in the changing room at Paragon City University was intense. Muscle bound jocks were going through there paces , completing there last minute warm ups. Proud parents stood by there side providing encouraging support and words of wisdom. It was hard to tell who was the proudest the fathers or the sons.

“Ok son this is your big chance to make a name for yourself” announced Lord Marvellous so anyone in earshot could hear. “But father I’m no athlete” protested the timid boy in front of him ” please don’t make me do this, I’ve never run a race in my life”
“Nonsense’s Junior our family has a long history with this academy and a reputation to uphold in this event” Lord Marvellous proudly retorted making sure the whole changing room heard ”it will be the making of you boy!”
“I’m not doing it father “ stammered Junior “I don’t want to run in this stupid race ,if its that important, then you run the damm thing”

Ping Pong “Could the participants in today’s main event the 100 meter gold ribbon event, please make there way to the running track immediately” the robotic voice from the PA system crackled.

“There you go Matthew, get out there boy chop chop, make your old man proud” Lord Marvellous boasted as he walked to the changing room exit. “ Did you not hear a word I said father. I’m not running this silly race” Matthew yelled after his father.

“Look boy I called in many a favour with the college principle to get you in this race” the boys father angrily snapped, his voice booming round the now empty changing room. “Your mother would be very disappointed with you Junior, god rest her soul.”

The announce system sprung into life once more Ping Pong “This is the final call for Matthew Marvellous Junior, final call for Matthew Marvellous Junior, please report to running track immediately.”

“Don’t bring my mother into this , fine I’ll run your stupid race “ screamed Mathew as he stormed out the changing room, kicking a half drunk energy drink as he passed his father. “That’s the spirit boy” Lord Marvellous called after his son.

Down on the track the air was filled with anticipation, a cooling Mid July breeze blew across the sun baked cinder track was refreshing compared to the stuffy confine of the changing room..

“Yes and you are?” enquired the race official as Matthew approached “M Marvellous” he snappily replied still angry from the run in with his father. “No need to take that tone with me young man“, replied the official as he handed Matthew his number “ you’re the one who’s late“

Muttering to him self Matthew nervously walked over to the starting line whilst struggling to get the oversized number 8 to stay on his shirt.

“ Here’s your starting blocks sonny, you will have to set them yourself.” said another official as he thrust the blocks into Matthew’s hands.

“What the hell am I doing here, and what am I supposed to do with these” thought Matthew as he struggled with the starting blocks. “you need some help with those “ sniggered the boy in the next lane. “No thanks” Matthew angrily replied as he rose to his feet “ I don’t think I will even bother with them”

“Competitors take your positions” shouted the starter. The noise from the crowd died down.

“Take your marks” . Matt could her the twitter and sniggers of the crowd as he positioned himself for a standing start. He glanced to his right and saw his father angrily shaking his head

“Set” announced the starter.

Matt turned his focus to the track, 100 metres had never looked so far. “Just close your eyes and run Matthew “ he thought to himself “just close your eyes and run”

Crack went the starters pistol.

If thats right Boom thats fantastic I had factored in hasten due to the ridiculas rechage of the 2nd enhancment.

I can now free that slot up

Theve speeded them up great didnt notice much diff in the 1st upgrade.

Whats the recharge now on the Lvl 32 upgrade running at now as that may help my build greatly.

Seem to be fne on union being on for about 3hours and no name changes so far

Can confirm Thugs have SJ just rooled one yesterday.

Ive now fitted shadow fall in.

The main reason for not get howling twiglight is that usualy duo 90% of the time with Mr Marvellous. I remember seeing Howling in action now and I dont think it will be of a great benifit due to the amount of mobs that a duo spwans.

Having said that I still have 2 spare powers to pick at Lvls 30 & 35 so may end up with it.

I was going to go for assualt but this would impact on my end with it being a toggle and ive also heard that the enforcer in thugs gives a leadership buff. Is that right??

Any suggestion what are other good pool powers for a MM?

Just read up on Shadow Fall again and am taking it now i thought it was just a stealth power, how wrong can I be.

Just rolled a Thug/Dark yesterday and am toying around with the build at the moment.

I loathe having to get stamina with any of my toons I would rather have 3 addtional powers however somtimes its unavoidable.

Now im planning on getting all the Thug powers bar the 1st attack. I intend to use my attacks (Duel Weild and Empty Clip) just as a mean of self defense if things go belly up.

So basically is dark a end hevey set and do you rekon I could get by slotting with end reducers instead of getting stamina.

Based on my very limited knowledge of Dark Im not getting black hole which according to my sources is very end heavy and I dont think im getting howling twilight or shadow fall either.

Please tell me if Im mad for missing these powers and can I surrvive stamina less.

was just one of them crazy ideas I get from time to time to try and be diffrent.

I would still like to hear from any body though who has slotted diffrently to say maybe the usualy 3 dam 2 acc combo.

I may still try it myslef and respec the out if it doenst work.

Quick question to try and gauge few opinions on this.

As we all know our 1st set of henchmen depreciate in strength as we get the 2nd and then the 3rd.

Now if your playing on anything but the easiset difficuly lvl they tend to be mainly cannon fodder some may say they are still fodder on easy as well.

Im mulling over the idea of not even slotting them at all and spend the slots else where.

My question is what do you guys usualy slot the 1st set of henchies with if at all.

Yeah Mr Marvellous just finished our site the other week Im sure if you PM him he will try and help you.

Well we submitted ours a bit back as well but i cant see any hope. The sights of the city and be famous thing have remained unchanged for about 2 weeks as well.

Unfortunatly its not just stalkers there is an awful lack of knowledge out ther of that others powers do!
