Mr. Light sighed as he watched the Heroe assemble at the gates to Perez in Atlas Park. He clenched his fists in his helplessness.
"Are you SURE this doesn't concern us?" Mr. Light asked, the Void of Light appearing behind him. "This DOES sound like something Mr. Dark would come up with..."
" No. " The Void declared, a tone of finality in it's voice. " This is not the work of Mr. Dark or the Dark Void. Mr. Dark is busy looking for new Agents of Darkness since your last battle. " The Void's tone changed. " Just as YOU shoud be looking for new Agents of Light. "
Mr. Light sighed. At first glance, Mr. Light appeared to be a normal Hero: He was wearing a white trenchcoat over a white shirt, and had on white pants, his outfit being complete with white boots and white gloves. His blue hair sat neatly on top of his head, but his eyes... they seemed to be a gateway to some wonderful light, almost enough to make you want to die just to know what kind of paradise lies beyond them. He also carried a white cane with him, complete with a small statuette of an Angel on top of it.
However, Mr. Light was NOT a normal Hero. He was the last member of the Agents of Light, a group of Agents chosen by the Light Void that was in an eternal battle against the Agents of Darkness. As it was, both Agents of Light and Darkness were EXTREMELY powerful, their power easily 10 times that of even Statesman himself. In addition, the both the Agents of Light and Darkness were immortal, except to the opposing Agents' powers. Though Mr. Light appeared yound and attractive, the eyes that watched the gate at Perez in Atlas Park were thousands of years old.
"I suppose..." Mr. Light said, sighing as he watched the Heroes. "They should be able to handle this little problem on their own..." Mr. Light began, but then his facial expression changed as he felt an Agent of Darkness approaching. Turning to his right, he saw Mr. Dark land, smiling wickedly at him as he waved at Mr. Light.
"Well, hello there, Mr. Light." Mr. Dark chuckled. "It seems like we just keep bumping into each other lately, doesn't it?" Mr. Dark's chuckle became a laugh.
Mr. Dark, like Mr. Light, was currently the last of his kind. Being the last of the Agents of Darkness, he appeared to be a normal Villain you would find in Paragon City: He was wearing a black trenchcoat over a black shirt, complete with black pants and black boots and gloves. His red hair hung wildly over his head and on his chin in a small goatee, and he leaned on his black cane, which a small statuette of a Demon on it's tip.
Like Mr. Light, Mr. Dark was immortal; and like Mr. Light, he was searching for more Agents for his master, the Dark Void.
"What are you doing here, Mr. Dark?" Mr. Light asked coldly, keeping his gaze on Mr. Dark at all times. Mr. Dark chuckled once more.
"Well, I saw this new Villain here," Mr. Dark pointed at the Perez gates. "And I had an interesting little idea: Why make a little game out of this?" Mr. Dark's chuckle became an outright sneer. "I'll stand back and help the Villain, never actively interfering with the Heroes; and you can help the Heroes, never actively interfering with the Villain? Sound fair?"
"I will NOT use these-" Mr. Light began, but the Light Void interrupted him.
" Go. " The Void declared, causing Mr. Light to turn to the Void in confusion. " Mr. Dark will help the Villain whether you interfere or not. As a member of the Agents of Light, you must always challenge the will of the Agents of Darkness. That is your duty. " The Void stated the last part matter-of-factually. Mr. Light sighed again, then nodded to Mr. Dark.
"Alright!" Mr. Dark smiled. "What fun! Let's go!"
And in black and white mists, Mr. Dark and Mr. Light where gone. -
" When Light and Darkness clash, and a city in ruins lay,
The Light and Dark shall part, to fight another day. "
As the two Agents continued to fight, two voids opened up on either of their sides, one dark and one light.
" Mr. Dark! Stop this now! You know what was Decreed long ago! " The voice came from the Dark Void.
" Mr. Light! You must respect the way of the Universe! End this now! " The Light Void commanded.
Mr. Dark and Mr. Light, looking at each other intently, disengaged their battle and backed off.
" As it was Decreed when the Universe was born... " The Dark Voice declared.
" So shall it be. " The Light Voice responded, the two voids glowing in white and black light. The two voids enveloped the entire city, then the world, and continued outward as they intermixed, creating a Gray Void that eventually covered the entire Universe, and in a flash, the Voids and the two last Agents were gone.
Tick-Tok sat at Tony's Bar, sipping his tea. Vondor and Silver Haze sat back and relaxed, talking lightly as they enjoyed a small meal. The bell on the door to the diner rang, and a man in a white trenchcoat walked in, taking his place at a table.
"What can I get you, sir?" The waitress asked, looking cheerfully at the man. The man smiled back.
"Angel's Food Cake, please." Mr. Light answered, looking out the window at the lovely day, Atlas Park in perfect condition.
Outside, Mr. Dark looked at the diner from a nearby rooftop.
"Someday, Mr. Light..." Mr. Dark snarled, turning away. "Someday." He leapt off the building and flew away.
Mr. Light sipped some water, then looked across at a child drawing on a paper with some crayons. He was very young, and seemed to laugh to himself as he drew. Mr. Light walked over to him and sat next to him.
"What are you drawing?" Mr. Light asked, smiling as he looked at the paper. The drawing looked like a brightly colored Hero.
"A... picture of me..." The boy said, continuing to draw on the paper.
"You want to be a Hero?" Mr. Light asked, smiling as he watched the boy draw.
"Mmm-hmm." The boy said, continuing to draw on the paper. Mr. Light smiled inwardly.
"I'm Mr. Light." Mr. Light said, moving his cane to the side of the table and extending his hand to the boy. The boy accepted it. "You know, I once knew someone that liked to draw. She was a Hero herself, you know. You'd be amazed at what she could do..." Mr. Light and the boy talked for the rest of the day.
END LIGHT AND DARKNESS

(Author's Note: I would like to thank EVERYONE [especially Vondor and Master_Mind] for their participation in this Thread. Sadly, due to the lack of people participating and the "battle" theme of it, I knew that this wouldn't last long and enjoyed writing it with everyone who was involved. I'll probably make some more RP "Battle" Threads like this, so make sure you check back often! Thanks again to everyone for their participation! Thank you!)

Jack in Diamond turned to leave for his first recruit when he saw a man standing behind him, smiling as he rested his hands on his cane.
The man was wearing a black trenchcoat over his black shirt, his outfit complete with black pants and black boots and gloves. His skin was pale, and his hair was a fire red on both his head and his small goatee on his chin. But his eyes... his eyes seemed like a dark void that never ended. His hands were resting on a black cane that had a small statuette of a demon on the tip of it.
"Hello, Jack of Diamonds." The man said, smiling wickedly as he observed the Villain.
"Who are you?" Jack of Diamonds asked.
"You can call me Mr. Dark." Mr. Dark's eyes went to Jack's folder, then back to him. "I'm not interested in your little recruitment. As a matter of fact, it seems I'm in need of a recruitment of my own." Mr. Dark's smile became a sneer. "You see, I'm in need of new Agents of Darkness, and I think you may help me to that end. I'll be keeping track of who you recruit, Jack." His dark eyes glimmered slightly. "You'll hear from me again. I'm sure of it." And with that, Mr. Dark disappeared in a black mist. -
Tick-Tok turned after defeating Mr. Death just in time to see Ms. Shade kiss him on his shoulder.
"Good-bye, honey." Ms. Shade smiled as Tick-Tok found himself paralyzed. In the next instant, Tick-Tok's entire body became black as the darkness spread across his entire metal body, and soon he entire body was consumed in it. Ms. Shade blew a kiss at Tick-Tok, and his black body crumbled into a pile of dust, not even his CPU core could survive such an attack.
Ms. Shade smiled and turned to see Ms. Charity charge her, twirling her Rod that she had found earlier. Ms. Shade, having almost no time to react, made a desperate lunge and plowed her hand through Ms. Charity, just as Ms. Shade's body was incinerated in fire by Ms. Charity Rod. Both of the agents exploded simultaneously, and their energy was transferred to the last Agents on both sides.
Mr. Dark and Mr. Light squared off on the burning Atlas City Hall, both knowing that all of their allies were dead and what that meant.
"There's no reason to continue this fight, Mr. Dark." Mr. Light said, keeping his eyes on Mr. Dark at all times. "We're the last two Agents left, and you know what that means."
Mr. Dark smiled. "Yes, I do." His smile became a wicked sneer. "Which is what I had planned all along." He charge Mr. Light, stabbing his cane through his stomach. Mr. Light, however, became a white mist and reformed, plowing HIS cane through Mr. Dark's neck. Mr. Dark, however, became a black mist and reformed to perfect health, and the battle continued.
They both had reached a point where they could not be killed, even by their own weapons. If either one of them were to die, it would symbollically be destroying all Good (Mr. Light) or all Evil (Mr. Dark) in the Universe. Because the entire concepts of Good and Evil rely on each other to exist, killing one would kill the other, and the destruction of both would cause the Universe to cease to exist. Knowing this, it had been deemed long ago that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to destroy ALL the Agents of Light or Darkness. Once there was only one left on either side, that last remaining Agent would become truly immortal, unable to be killed by ANY means, even WITH the power of Light or Darkness. This was made so the Universe would never die, and like it or not, it was what must be. -
Ms. Sketch looked up at the Clockwork. She smiled.
"Yes, they were just-" Her face suddenly went stiff as an Energy Beam went through her chest, compliments of Mr. Death. Ms. Sketch fell forward, her sketchbook, crayons, and pens falling to the ground as she fell. She then exploded in a black light, her Light Energy going into the remaining Light Agents.
"Ah, the infamous Clockwork." Mr. Death smiled, circling around Tick-Tok as he aimed his Gattling Gun at him. "Looks like your out of Light Energy." He narrowed his eyes. "Or are you? I wonder..." He prepared to fire his gattling gun... -
Mr. Dark stayed in the wall, but didn't explode...
Tick-Tok watched as Mr. Dark disintegrated, then turned in time to see Mr. Dark knock his head off with his cane. Looking behind Mr. Dark, Tick-Tok saw... ANOTHER Mr. Dark?
"As our agents are killed, the power is split among the survivors." Mr. Dark said smiling as he held Tick-Tok's head in his hands. "This allowed me to perform this technique: I call it the Multi-Form Technique. How is it?" Mr. Dark smiled as the other Mr. Dark entered his body again.
Mr. Dark dropped Tick-Tok's head to the ground. Searching around, Mr. Dark realized there were still two other agents left.
"Mr. Death, Ms. Shade..." Mr. Dark said telepathically. "It's time to go into the second phase of this plan. Come with me onto Atlas Hall."
Mr. Dark flew away as Tick-Tok's flight boosters shorted out as they lost power, and his body followed his head to the ground... -
Mr. Dark emerged from the rubble, his body reforming as he looked at the machine.
"You do NOT want to challenge me." Mr. Dark said, and Tick-Tok fired his guns at Mr. Dark as Mr. Dark leapt into the air. As Mr. Dark rose into the air, Tick-Tok thought he had him, but in an instant Mr. Dark disappeared.
Tick-Tok looked around, confused. He wasn't on ANY of his monitors...
A large explosion at the cockpit alerted Tick-Tok further. It then hit him just before Freedom exploded: Mr. Dark hadn't disappeared, he just had been moving at an EXTREMELY fast speed. The machine exploded, and Mr. Justice exploded in black light in the machine as his Light Energy was split among the remaining Light Agents.
As for Tick-Tok, he found that he wasn't destroyed, and not only that, after the machine he was controlling was destroyed he had his original body back! That was the good news.
The bad news was that he was now falling to the ground of Atlas from about 5 stories in the air... -
Mr. Knives steadied himself, eyeing the weapon intently as he prepared to charge.
The charge was simultaneous, Mr. Knives charging with his claws as Vondor led with his sword. A flash of light occurred as the engaged for a moment, and the next moment they had already passed each other.
Vondor grabbed his arms in pain... Mr. Knives had managed to slash his arms up pretty badly, but they were still usable. Mr. Knives smiled at first, then screamed as his arm fell off. Vondor had managed to cut off his arm (though he had been aiming for Mr. Knives' head) in the instant they clashed. Since he couldn't regenerate, Mr. Knives turned and the two charged again, this time with rage in both their eyes as they connected together in a brilliant light...
They appeared to be like a statue of two ancient warriors as they stood there, their bodies unmoving as their attacks had hit each other. Mr. Knives stood there for that moment, his claws on his one good hand going straight into Vondor's face and out through the back of his head, while Vondor's Light sword was clearly visible as it had gone into Mr. Knives' stomach and came out his back. They stood like that for a moment until...
"Kaah..." Mr. Knives fell down, the sword still in his stomach as he exploded in white light, the Light sword clanging on the ground as the Dark Energy once again going into the remaining agents of Darkness. Vondor also fell down, his face utterly destroyed.
Ms. Sketch looked at Vondor's body, the blood still pouring out the back of his skull. He looked dead... -
Ms. Sketch looked at the odd man in robes and saw his empty sheath. She got an idea...
Mr. Knives, on the other hand, had just finished slicing the tiger away when he began to charge Ms. Sketch as she was still drawing away furiously. He was stopped as Ms. Grace leapt down from the air and grabbed tackled him to the ground.
"Hurry, Ms. Sketch!" Ms. Grace said as she reached into her nurse's uniform and got out one of her syringes. Mr. Knives was able to fend her off, however, and soon was back on his feet as he knocke Ms. Grace off.
Meanwhile, Ms. Sketch furiously continued to draw, looked at her picture for a moment, then added on final detail and threw the paper in the air. The paper exploded and a Katana with a glowing blade fell out from the paper. Ms. Sketch grabbed the Katana in mid-air and presented it to Vondor.
"I know it's not yours, but..." Ms. Sketch watched as Ms. Grace was overcome by Mr. Knives, his claw slicing her throat open. She dropped to ground and exploded in black light, her Light Energy going to all of the remaining Light Agents.
"Please use it." Ms. Sketch pleaded, handing the sword to Vondor as Mr. Knives turned to them... -
"This is hopeless!" Mr. Justice yelled, throwing one of his tools aside in frustration as he looked at Freedom. The Huge, HUGE machine was well hidden with his cloaking device, and to any onlooker it just looked like he was hunched over something only he could see in the street. Unless, of course, they ran into it. Then they would know.
"That son of a (censored) Mr. Knives!" Mr. Justice yelled, looking around. "He destroyed the main CPU core! Where am I going to..." Mr. Justice looked at the Clockwork he had fixed earlier, it seemed mortally wounded once again.
"A CPU core..." Mr. Justice thought, and approached the Clockwork.
Tick-Tok awakened and realized that he wasn't himself anymore. First of all, he couldn't seem to move, and secondly, checking his systems he seemed to have transformed into a giant robot.
"Alright, Clockwork..." Mr. Justice's voice crackled in Tick-Tok's head. "I've implemented your main CPU into my robot, Freedom. It's a little restrictive, but seeing as how you were about to die..." Mr. Justice sighed. "Look, I'll make you a new body afterwards, but right now I need you to help me out with this fight, OK?"
Mr. Justice looked at Tick-Tok solemnly. "When I turn off the cloaking device, the Dark Agents will see us, and will probably attack us. I'll be in control of most of the robot, but I'm leaving you in charge of the twin gattling guns on both of your shoulders," A schematic came up as he said this, and Tick-Tok saw the blue prints for the weapon and how it operated. "As well as the electric defense system. Use this ONLY when someone is trying to climb onto you, otherwise you'll use up power unecessarily. This is how Mr. Knives destroyed Freedom last time, so be careful!" Mr. Justice ended the transmission, and Tick-Tok soon found himself looking at Atlas Park in a whole new way, almost like a kaleidoscope; he was seeing every direction at once.
"OK!" Mr. Justice said as he turned off the cloaking device and rose up HIGH into the air... -
Mr. Knives watched Mr. Pain fight with the Hero armed with the Light Agent's weapon in amusement.
"Mr. Pain has never seen Ms. Charity's weapon." Mr. Knives smiled, looking away from their battle. He set his eyes on the Clockwork that had killed two of his allies. "Time to end this little one's winning streak."
With two jumps, Mr. Knives was upon Tick-Tok. Tick-Tok turned and fired an electric bolt at the Agent, but Mr. Knives easily dodged the attack. With two swipes, Tick-Tok found himself in 3 pieces as Mr. Knives jumped away...
Mr. Pain charged in on the mechanical Hero, his right arm finally regenerated as he did so. The Hero twirled his Rod and fired a huge Fireball at him as he charged, and Mr. Pain now found his left side destroyed and completely UNABLE to regenerate it.
"That must be a Light Weapon!" Mr. Pain realized as the Hero attempted to finish him with an Earth strike. When the Hero placed the rod on the ground, however, Mr. Pain jumped up to avoid the attack.
The Hero began to whirl the sword again as Mr. Pain landed, but was too late as Mr. Pain grabbed the Hero's head and crushed it in his right hand, finishing off by ripping off the Hero's head.
"Hahaha...ooh!" Mr. Pain looked down to see the Rod that the Hero had been wielding was in his stomach. Mr. Pain looked at the dead robot on the ground, then his eyes began to blur with water, followed by his mouth, ears, and soon his whole body.
"Glub glub..." Mr. Pain's last words were mere choking sounds as he fell down on top of his last victim, and then his body exploded in white light. As his Dark Energy went to the remaining Dark Agents, the Rod itself rolled on the park floor... -
Mr. Pain cried in agony as he lost his arm. He tried to regenerate it, but found that he was regenerating much slower than normally.
"That sword had almost as much Light Energy as the Light Agent's weapons do!" Mr. Pain thought angrily. Looking down, he saw the Hero that had injured him, knocked out. "Enough of you." Mr. Pain snarled, picking the Hero up by the neck with his one useable arm. "If I could I would snap your neck, but I guess I'll just have to kill you the old-fashioned way." He threw the Hero onto the ground. "By BEATING you to death!" Mr. Pain raised his foot and began to stomp on Vondor... -
Ms. Hack's face began to contort as the color ran through her body, and eventually her entire body grew stiff, and her lungs ceased to function.
"Connection... Terminated." Ms. Hack couged her last words, then ceased to move. Her body then exploded in white light, and the Dark Energy was absorbed by the 5 remaining Dark Agents.
"Whew..." Ms. Harmony thought, wiping her face. In the next instant, though, Mr. Pain tackled her and grabbed her neck, forcing her body to the ground. With a wicked smile, Mr. Pain snapped Ms. Harmony's neck.
Ms. Harmony's body exploded in black light, as her Light Energy went to her remaining teammates.
Tick-Tok watched as his flute vanished right before his eyes... -
Ms. Sketch moaned and began took out her pens and paper, drawing a picture of the mechanical Hero with the Rod in hand. The drawing jumped out of the paper and soon stood in her lap, the size of a small kitten as it stood.
"It always begins with a whirl." Ms. Sketch said, the drawing whirling it's little rod like a helicopter in front of it's body. "In order to summon Lightning, after the whirl raise the rod into the air." The little Hero stopped whirling and raised it's arm above it's head, it's small Rod pointing straight upwards. "To summon Water, whirl the rod on the left side of your body and then point it at your enemy." The small figure moved it's arm to it's left side as it whirled the Rod, then pointed it forward. "To summon Fire, it's the same thing, except whirl it on the right side of your body first." The small figure whirled the Rod on the right side and then again pointed the Rod forward. "To Summon Earth, whirl the rod in front of you, then touch it down to the ground." The small figure whirled it's Rod in front of him like it had for the Lightning, but this time touched the tip of the Rod onto the Ms. Sketch's lap. "And to Summon Wind, you have to whirl it in front of you and then make an arc in front of your body." The small figue whirled the Rod in front of himself again, then swung the Rod in a wide arc in front of himself. "That's how it works."
The mechanical Hero landed on a safe roof, and Ms. Sketch jumped down. "What's your name, anyway?" She asked. -
Vondor turned around just in time to see Mr. Knives' claws swipe at him. Luckily, Vondor managed to jump away from Mr. Knives' target, his head, but the claws were still able to get a piece of his arm. Injured, but still able to fight, Vondor saw his opening and charged Mr. Kinves as he drew his sword in one fluent movement, slicing Mr. Knives in half across his torso. Vondor landed a small distance away after the attack, and looked back as Mr. Knives fell to the ground "dead". Almost immediately, however, Mr. Knives' body turned into a black mist and then reformed back to perfect health. Mr. Knives smiled as he turned to Vondor, extending his claws once again...
Meanwhile, Ms. Sketch began to come to, realizing she was in the arms of the android that was carrying Ms. Charity's Rod.
"Do you know how to use that Rod?" Ms. Sketch asked, still a little groggy. -
Ms. Hack dropped to the ground, "dead". She quickly reformed as she noticed Mr. Potential inside the Clockwork. Luckily, the pole had killed her and not one of the Clockwork's energy beams...
"Kill... kill... kill..." Mr. Maul jerked around in a death rattle, his body beginning to glow. In the next instant, his body exploded in white light, and Mr. Maul was no more. The Dark Energy, however, split and went six different directions.
A portion of that energy hit Ms. Hack in the chest, and her body absorbed it. "I never like Mr. Maul." Ms. Hack said, smiling as Tick-Tok fired one his blasts right at her. An instant before it hit her, a blur grabbed her and pulled her out of the way, the blast JUST missing her. The blur put her down and wheeled around to Tick-Tok, who looked at the blur and was about to fire when all of a sudden the blur stopped behind him, revealing it to be Mr. Death traveling at a very high speed on his wheels. He lowered his left arm cannon (the Star Destroyer) at the back of Tick-Tok's head at point-blank range.
"Die." He smiled, firing the cannon. It had enough power to take out the entire city. However, Mr. Potential saw this coming and diverted all of his energy into stopping the blast. As the smoke cleared, both the city and Tick-Tok were safe, but the strain had been too much for Mr. Potential.
Tick-Tok felt his new energy leave his as Mr. Potential died inside of him, his "body" exploding in black light. His Light Energy went into the other 6 Agents of Light.
"What a waste..." Mr. Death smiled, aiming his cannon at Tick-Tok (now regressed to his normal form). Just before he fired, however, a beam hit his arm, cutting it off. Mr. Death attempted to regenerate it, then found out he couldn't, because it was from a Light Agent's Weapon. Turning, he saw Ms. Harmony brandishing her guitar as she stroked it again, the sound wave flying towards Mr. Death. Mr. Death quickly rode out of the way.
"Back me up!" Ms. Harmony said, tossing Tick-Tok a stange, glowing flute. Tick-Tok looked at the flute... -

Mr. Potential tried out several of the Clockwork's attacks, getting used to his new host. He could tell his host knew that something was wrong, but he had no time to explain it to him.
"Alright, time to see just what this Clockwork can REALLY do!" Mr. Potential charged his Light Energy and applied it to his new host.
"KILL! KILL TICK-TOK!" Mr. Maul laughed, dancing around wildly in his Tesla Cage. Just as Mr. Maul broke free, however, Tick-Tok's body seemed to explode with electricity, and Mr. Maul watched as his opponent, once a normal Clockwork, now had light and electricity flowing around him. Mr. Maul, of course, realized what happened.
"POTENTIAL! POTENTIAL! KILL! KILL! KILL!" Mr. Maul said, throwing all of his grenades at the Clockwork. Every grenade hit dead-on, an attack that would had destroyed Tick-Tok...
"POTENTIAL! POTENTIAL! POTENTIAL!!!" Mr. Maul cried as the smoke cleared, revealing a perfectly unharmed Tick-Tok, still glowing with light and electricity.
"Hmm..." Mr. Potential thought, straining to maintain Tick-Tok's new power. "In order to maintain this amount of power, I'll have to give control back to Tick-Tok." Mr. Potential stopped controlling Tick-Tok and concentrated on generating Light Energy... -
Ms. Sketch watched as the mechanical Hero faced off against Mr. Knives, knowing full well he was no match for an Agent of Darkness...
"Hey!" Ms. Sketch said, looking at the weapon the Hero had in his hands. "That's Ms. Charity's Element Rod! Where did you get it?"
The Hero turned to Ms. Sketch as Mr. Knives leapt at him...
"Take this!" Ms. Sketch said, drawing a train on her paper. In an instant, the Train came out and knocked into Mr. Knives, and just barely dodging the Hero.
"He doesn't know how to use the Rod..." Ms. Sketch thought as the Hero looked at the Rod in his hand.
"Listen..." Ms. Sketch said quickly to the Hero. "That Rod can call down Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, and Lightning! Using it correctly, you can destroy an Agent of Darkness, but in order to do so you have to..." Ms. Sketch knocked back as an explosion nearby (courtesy of Mr. Maul) knocked her off her feet. Her head hit a nearby wall, knocking her out for the moment.
Nearby, Mr. Knives had completely shredded the train and was heading back towards Ms. Sketch and the Hero... -
Mr. Death smiled as he aimed his cannon and fired at the Hero... and his arm cannon subsequently exploded. The explosion carried across the rest of his body, and soon Mr. Death's entire body exploded. The Fire Hero, a bit shocked at this, shrugged as he turned around... not noticing the black mist reforming where Mr. Death had exploded. Reforming, Mr. Death fire a grenade straight at the Fire Hero, creating... quite a mess.
Ms. Hack saw the machine on top of her. She sighed.
"You never learn, do you?" She said. With one attack, Silver Haze "killed" Ms. Hack... only to have her reform a short distance from him a moment later.
"You CAN'T kill me." Ms. Hack said, smiling wickedly and turning around. "You can't kill ANY of us without the power of the Agents of Light." She smiled she opened a box and a jet pack appeared on her back, and she was soon flying away from Silver Haze with her computer in tow.
Silver Haze would have followed her, but he had tripped over a strange, glowing Rod... -
Ms. Hack's computer exploded soon after it landed on the roof of City Hall. Right after it exploded, the black mist flowed down to the floor and reformed into Ms. Hack on the ground.
"My Computer!" Ms. Hack sobbed. For about two seconds. "Oh well."
Lifting up her arms, another computer magically appeared in her hands. Taking out a disk, she put it in the computer and soon had all of her information back. "Always make back-up." Ms. Hack smiled. She looked up. "One down, and one to go..." She smiled, walking into the midsts of the battle...
Silver Haze was still running toward Ms. Hack when he was knocked aside by someone else. Looking up, he saw what appeared to be a weapon on wheels.
Mr. Death sped around Silver Haze, laughing as his left and right arms, as well as chest, sported extremely lethal guns.
"I see you're after Ms. Hack." Mr. Death laughed wickedly, still driving around Silver Haze on his wheels. "Why don't you try me on for size?" He fired his right hand (an Energy Cannon) straight at Silver Haze. -
Ms. Hack smiled and waved to the Heroes as the bottom of her seat dropped out of the Helicopter and she began to plummet towards the ground. While in mid-air, however, Ms. Hack pulled out yet another one of her little boxes and with the push of a button, the box opened up into a glider, which she used to soar away as her body hung freely in the air, her hands clutching yet another one of her computers.
"Boom." She said wickedly as she pressed a key on her computer, and the rest of the Helicopter behind her self-destructed in a rather large explosion. -
"Annoying little..." Ms. Hack reached down in the vehicle and brought out another box. The car continued to roll into the battlefield. "Time to go airborne!" She laughed, pushing the button on the box. In the next moment, the car exploded as Ms. Hack flew up into the air in a bullet-proof helicopter.
"And now for the cous de gras..." Ms. Hack smiled, bringing down yet another computer as the helicopter climbed higher in the sky. Punching in some more information, she hit a final key.
"Umm.... Sir?" Sergeant Haskins called over General Doyle. "You better come look at this..."
"What the hell is it now, Haskins?" General Doyle asked, looking at the screen. He stopped short as he watched the information pile up. "What the HELL do you think you're doing, Sergeant?!" The General demanded.
"Sir, I didn't do anything... apparently over a dozen of our warheads have launched..." Sergeant Haskins continued to read the screen. "No, make that over three dozen... no, wait, the computer is systematically launching ALL of our Nuclear Warheads!" Sergeant Haskins turned to General Doyle.
"Where... What is the target?" General Doyle asked, sitting down and breathing hard.
Sergeant Haskins read some more information, then turned to General Doyle. "Paragon City, Rhode Island, sir..."
