  7. Short reminder: I still need recorded intros for the show. So if you want to be on the air, here's what you need to do:

Record yourself in decent quality saying, "Hi! This is (whoever you are), and you're listening to City of Stories: Audio Fan Fiction from City of Heroes and City of Villains. And now ... Mint Condition." Or something to that effect. You can get creative, do it in character, whatever.

The only "MUSTS" are that it must be good quality and it must get all of the above points across.

Format can be either mp3 or Wav (so if you want, you can just use windows sound recorder). When you're ready to send it, please use yousendit.com and enter cityofstories:-at-:cox.net as the email so that my inbox doesn't explode.

I do final mix downs on Friday night, so if you want to be considered for Issue 3, you need to have the file to me by Friday noon, EST.

    Looking forward to your stuff,

    Mint
  8. Just a note, these stories are featured in the latest issue of City of Stories!

  11. Hello, Heroes! I'd like to introduce you to the Trimmers. The Trimmers is a Multi-game guild begun in PlanetSide a few years back. We have active divisions in CoH, PS, WoW and a few others. More than the average SG, we strive for friendship and support.

We use TeamSpeak fairly extensively, which really enhances our gameplay and friendship.

We also run The Operatives, which is the RP side of our guild, and we encourage you to check out the Operatives videos at our website. Not all Trimmers are Operatives, but all Operatives are Trimmers.

We don't, as a rule, admit toons to the guild, rather, we invite players, whose toons can then join any of the SGs we manage.

If you're interested in a supportive, fun guild with great people, just send a global tell to any of the officers listed below or look for a Trimmers or Operatives guild tag! See you in game!

  13. Ewww... I'll have to stick with the old keybind then and use the third tray as unbound click macros. I use the ctrl-# ALL the time to pop to different tray setups. for 2 main reasons:

    1) Shapeshift. I have macros set up in the 0 slots to switch to toggleon the form and switch to the correct tray, and again to toggleoff and switch back. When I use the ctrl-command tho is when I get statused. Then my macros (or any other powers in the tray) don't function and I ctrl-1 to get back to my main tray.

    2) I often have a LOT of macros. Team commands, RP comments, etc. Litterally 4 trays worth on some chars. One extra tray isn't going to work and I'm STILL going to have to switch that extra tray anyway.

Solution: Use SHIFT# for tray 3, and bind the TeamSelection to the numpad numbers by default. Its a safer solution than the shift# combo anyway, because if you miss the key-combo for team select, you fire a power, often not a good thing.

Personally, on my defenders I bind my heals to the numpad alone, then my other ally powers to chorded numpad. Alt/Ctrl/Shift. That gives me chord access to 4 powers.

What you need to look at is why the "team_select #$$powexec_name Power" combo doesn't work right. I routinely have to hit the combo twice. The first time it selects, the second time it activates the power.

    But I guess I'm outvoted.
