I have chosen not to post on the situation in a long time, even though everytime I read something from someone that either a) Does not know the full story; b) Doesn't give a flying crap; or c) Just wants to chime in for their 2 cents because they think they are higherandmighterthanall, it makes me very angry, but I had held my tongue. Until now.
I WAS one of the ones affected wrongly via the level pact. Did I meow toons? You bet your happy butt I did, however those were not touched. I would have GLADLY taken my slap on the wrist if that were the case. I was cut off from the game 48 hours of that 72 hour ban without one single communication (except for the ones that *I* initiated) from anyone else. I was treated like a child and disregarded when posting for information on the situation. I was downright lied to by Customer Service the first time I called them before I got a supervisor on the phone. I have watched the moderators on this board use a rule and stretch it to it's limits on attempting to control the situation and communication regarding several incidents that have spun off from the original one. I have done my due diligence and worked behind the scenes instead of calling people out on the forums for an answer or apology. I've spent countless hours on the phone with Customer Service and such to resolve this issue. My latest phone call was Friday afternoon on 6/12/09 at 5(ish)pm EST, for 2 HOURS I was on the phone with the Department Head of Community Relations.
Did I get angry/upset/pissed off when I saw that BaBs had posted in this thread and in such a silly way? Yes and No
Yes because I think it's wrong that nothing has been said regarding things people are waiting for a comment on. No because I'm glad he feels like he could post here, but sorry that he cannot post what many of us are waiting on. Justice is a great place, which is why I am fighting my fight. I love this game, this community and *most* of the people in it. I've never carried about what 'faction' someone belongs to. Justice is a great mixing pot of people: raiders, pvpers, rp'ers, badgers, farmers, pl'ers, pug'ers, trolls and even griefers. You name it, Justice probably has it. I don't want people to go regardless of their reasons. I want Justice to stay the great and awesome place it is.
Regardless of how anyone feels what is expected of a redname or not, the simple fact is; they are the names and 'faces' of this game, this BUSINESS. So yes when something goes wrong, they are always going to be the ones up on the chopping block first. The simple fact is I've lost any and all respect for this company. Be it the 'rednames' or the corporate heads behind the scenes. I've lost my respect and faith. I've been told that they are 'listening' to us and myself. I hope they are also actually hearing and not just listening.
So in closing, I am not stupid, nor is anyone else on this board, regardless of their opinion, however it may differ from your own.
And in my new closing: I'm happy BaBs posted again, yet I feel no apology was necessary.
I wish people would stop being so close-minded!
