    I run a level 31 blaster (fire/eng) respecced, maxxed out as best he can be, and my levelling speed is NIL.

    How about FIXING that, and getting our speed back up?

    Leveling speed is NIL....LMAO go solo an earth controller or stone tanker or any other class. Blasters level faster then EVERYONE else. So they slowed us down a bit....big deal.

    Oh and to the one who said, Crytic said this game is not force you to group....go tell that to an MC/FF controller, or any controller for that matter.

    My fire/dev with the SG fix is still killing groups in mass. So to the point who said if I can't kill it in one shot, the other guy was right. You don't know how to play.

    My 4 year old has a fire/eng blaster who is 15 that he has done in no time since we won't let him sit in front of the computer forever.

    And last, no one said you HAVE to group with a tank. My wife, son and I have 3 blasters, 2 fire/dev and one fire/eng.

    No group (appropriate for our level) stands up to 3 FoB, 3 Fireballs......quit hunting reds and move on or group up to kill them.

    Okay so solution. After 22 we no longer call them minions. They will be Lieutenants, Captians and Bosses and since we are now level 25 or whatever we can blow through minions, but since they are so easy, why bother hitting them at all? but 3 lieutenants should be a challenge?? Would that make it feel better?? Just trying to get a better understanding here of your side.

    It is simply changing the name.....I can not get hung up on a name, but thats only my opinion.

    Wow, gotta say that response really disappoints me, Jack. They really ARE the very same minions. They are just dressed up in different clothing and have a few different powers. You might see them as very very different. But, many of us see them as just the same minion.

    Frankly, as you progress, the game should change. It should not be the same old stuff. Fighting 3 equal minions as balance my whole career as a crime fighter is not very comic book like. Minions tend to be less and less competative to the superhero as they progress along the power path in comics.

    Don't take this wrong.....I am just trying to state what I think is the misconception going on....and I tend to ramble....so I apologize......

    1. Superman still stops normal street thugs robbing a bank. He doesn't look at them and say "Hey, those are just minions and are beneath me to fight."

    2. Superman also is not beating up bad guys to "become" more powerful and "level" up.

    I still stop in Atlas park and save the woman from being mugged by level 2 Hellions. Why? Cuz that is what a super hero does. *I do look to make sure no low level heroes are looking to beat these guys up though first*

    But SINCE Statesman and the other devs want us to grind levels I do understand the frustration of the......hey 3 minions that I defeated in Atlas Park made my exp bar move a good bit.....and now at 35, I beat up 3 minions and I don't even see it budge.

    I believe the intent was that Statesman's quote at the beginning of this thread was that he understands people want 1. A Challenge and 2. FUN.

    Beating on 2 million minions to get a level and more powerful is not fun.

    I still think he gets it from a game stand point.

    He still needs to fix controllers to be fun, , but hey, he can't do it all fast.

    Um, no. I am DM DA scrapper and I have NO DEFENSES from DA except toward a specifc type of damage at any given time. So ANY TANKER has better defense than DA scrappers because at higher levels nearly all mobs do more than 1 type of damage. IF mobs only did psychic damage, or only did smashing damage, etc. then your statement (about DA anyway) would be closer to the truth.

    Funny on how no other scrappers on the scrapper board agree with you. Especially he ones that are level 50. This is not a debate on scrappers damage, and the Devs did not ask for your scrapper view point. Now if you play a tank as well, which is obvious you don't, you are no where near facts.

    The devs SAID, we don't come close. And you dare think you no more then them??? WOW

    As you keep saying hard number, hard numbers. Thornkiller has those tables with HARD numbers, please go read them.

    Golly, nearly fell off my chair laughing at that. You DO know that generally, all secondaries are capped at 75% effectiveness of the same primary, right? And that tankers generally slot primary damage-mitigating powers, while scrappers tend to slot primary damage-dealing powers?

    Man, I've met biased people trying to defend their over-powered class (relative to another) by pulling fictitious statements and facts out of their a**, but you, sir, take the cake.

    I am also aware that Scrapper primaries and Tanker secondaries does not share even a single set. The ones Tanker got is slow and harder hitting relative to Scrappers. This is why the actual single target damage per hit is nearly the same. I think you should do some comparison before you draw hasty conclusions. Maybe take a look at the most damaging melee attack in the game, Energy Transfer.

    As for slotting, at higher levels Scrappers will most of the time have more slots in defence as they need more to get less.

    Maybe you should consider thinking more and being rude less?

    See other post. My point was simple this forum should not be filled with arguements over who is correct incorrect. If negativety takes over, the devs will ignore it. The continued debating should be in PM's to help other understand your points and to gain agreeance. Arguing here is not the place.
  14. You are correct, this is the official SS thread as locked by CuppaJo. The KB issue has been discussed in about 4-5 other threads, Geko has proposed changes.

    I do feel KB should be allowed for those that want it and Geko is trying to implement that now. The changes to KB have already been debated and debated. I am glad you had fun with it, that does not change the fact that that was a minority.

    If you are serious about this claim then your response on this thread should have been. "Here are my opinions on SS set" and left it at that. You felt the need to keep replying to everyone who disagreed with your opion.

    I apologize if I misunderstood your intent, but from your words it does not do SS any good showing different view points and with this being the only thread allowed the I can completely see the need for you to post your opinion but to continue to debate them with others that do not agree is useless.

    If you don't agree with their reply to your opinion, realize it is simply their opinion and leave it at that.

    Krunch is using this thread as the discussion moves forward valid ideas and to add them to the list. I will fully support your opinions when I believe them to be correct and what the SS line needs. If we disagree, we disagree. But the majority of ideas that are agreed upon will be added to Krunch's list.

    I am just trying to understand the continue posting on items that are in disagreeance, so bare with me.

    Provide me with a reason to support your ideas and I will. I just ask, respectfully, if no one agrees with you, either seek others that do and have them post or take it to PM's and persuade others that have disagreed with you to change their minds. This should not be the place for "arguement debate" of this power is this way because.

    I do tend to ramble so if it doesn't make sense let me know.

    Key word here is MAY. While these changes may not be what the majority wants. Of the posters to the forums, the majority of posters do like these changes. If the changes go in and indeed effect many people negatively, they will go to the forums and start discussions for fixing them. As any company service, only those with problems will go out of their way to post how to fix it. If enough people were to express their opinions that these changes are indeed bad. The devs would more then likely listen.

    This post was started to pose suggestions on fixing them. Since you don't feel they need fixed, then please don't post. May I suggest that you start a thread for what you feel should not be changed and draw your support from those that respond and agree with you.

    Love the idea of handclap instead of provoke. I didn't take handclap because of the uselessness it currently has for my playstyle.
