Thanks for the Master badge, MP.
GP: I ran one of these myself later in the night pretty much accepting anyone who wanted to join. We got through everything without much trouble until we hit Tyrant. We could keep the well connections down, but without all +3 and a good amount of debuff, we couldn't get him lower than 30%. Also, I probably had way too much melee. Still, since everyone needs that sweet, sweet Hybrid XP, I considered it a success (I unlocked Hybrid myself on that run).
Once more people have Hybrid unlocked, non-optimal runs will become much easier. -
There is only one essential minor character, and we've already met him in Season 2:
Dolorous Edd.
-
I love Poderick Payne. Do non-readers realize that he's Ilyn Payne's son?
Ilyn is the King's Headsman, so he took care of Ned, and he also was in the Keep during the siege to take care of the women should the city fall.
I'm not sure that was made clear.
EDIT: Wow, I just looked up Pod and I was totally wrong. They are from the same House, but Ilyn isn't his father. I've been thinking he was through the whole series! -
Launching on a Thursday? Bold move, Devs.
Stay thirsty, my friends.

Alpha gets the scoop on this one, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.
Official Annoucement.
So what will you do first?
I'm going to be buying my Mecha stuff! -

Quote:Edmure is the youngest of Hoster Tully's children, but they did bump Cat's age up, so I'm not sure what they're going for. Maybe they left his age the same."Edmure Tully: A brash young member of the Tully family."
Isn't Edmure Tully Caitlin's not that much younger brother? They make it sound like he's Robb's age.
As far as brashness, they might be referring to what he did in Clash of Kings:
Quote:In disregard of the orders he had received from King Robb, Edmure defended the crossing against the Lannisters, a fierce battle fought at Stone Mill where Gregor Clegane is pushed back. By doing so he unwittingly thwarted the plans of Robb, who had planned to allow Tywin to cross the river and then trap him between his and Edmure's army
Plus I saw this as well: As a youth he was known as hot-headed but good-hearted. -
I don't think you could do the Red Wedding properly without Edmure.
My guess is we're going to have some action at Riverrun, which should be a nice change of scenery. -
Character list for Season 3 is out, and...
WE HAVE REEDS!
Jojen Reed; Meera Reed: A teenage brother and sister duo with special insights.
We also have:
Shireen: Stannis daughter.
10 points to MM for calling that one... I was sure she was gone!
We also get the Blackfish and Edmure Tully. -
That must have been what I was seeing. So I have no idea what's featured today.

Quote:What's on sale?
I'm at work and can't check.
EDIT: No bites on my my panther stealth power joke? Come on! lol, j/k.
No bites on your joke, because I knew someone would use that!
I think some sets are on sale, as well as some ATs? I can never tell what's really on sale until they release the Featured Items announcement. -
Looks like another crap week on the Market.
I guess the good news is I'm saving up my points!
-
I'm happy to say I remember none of those, except for Red and Blue Superman, and I only know that because I saw a cover.
-
Wait... that's... X-Com. BACKED.
Already in on Wasteland 2. -
Half Man! Half Man! Half Man!

The grand irony is that George got back into fiction because he hated being told that his screenplays were too expensive to shoot. Then they made a show based on his unfilmable series, and they stick him with the most epic episode!
Can't wait either! -
I agree with the idea that there should be a preview of VIP Sets (or any new costume piece for that matter). I don't agree that it looks silly. I've used those pieces on a few toons and it always looks great to me.

Quote:That is what would have happened, if they hadn't seen her riding the dragon. I believe that now they will truly see her as the Mother of Dragons and therefore worthy of respect. Is that what the last scene of Dance is supposed to mean? I thought it was meant to signify that she was about to be captured and gang-****ed by a group of raiders, just based on the way the story has gone up to that point. (I'm honestly not trying to be snarky; I'm just surprised to see it interpreted so positively.)
If I misread, and they didn't see the dragon, then perhaps your scenario will play out... until one of the dragons happens by and roasts her assailants alive. -
Quote:Screwed herself? She has at least one adolescent dragon, she's regained the ability to bear a child, and she's about to get her khalisar back... she's making out pretty good!Of course, I don't know why Dany listens to that woman anyways. It seems like by not trusting anyone, she's pretty much screwed herself.

Pretty sure Talisa is exactly what she seems: a newly invented character to replace Jeyne. I have no idea why they didn't make her Westerosi. Maybe they wanted to fill in some background on Volantis or Essos in general.

Quote:That makes sense. As much as I like to see people straining their noggins by pondering the imponderable, I'll cut to the chase and and say what was said in the last coffee chat. The summer event will drop on July 10.
And MG, I expect to see a black panther wandering around the base next isos.
So I23 June 5th, Blockbuster Summer July 10th, and you'll never see a Panther in Isos unless Ham or Voodoo buy it.
