I do have to say this, this is probably the first time I have ever seen what is technically a CoH fan story done so professionally.

If you ever decide to go pro with your writing, you should consider putting this into a portfolio.

12 degrees outside in MA. Don't know about you, but this weather is for penguins and polar bears, not human beings!

And can fan art of characters be submitted if it was gifted to you? I know you probably have the Oryo Ryouko in there, but there is that one of Kami Megami done by Summer Evening (mr.author on DA) that probably should be in there...

Back from outside. Trip turned out to be for nothing. Apartments turned out to be the size of a postage stamp. Staying where we are for now.

And I gotta wrestle with a wheelchair (hubbie's) in this crap. Wish us luck, trying for disabled/elderly housing...ironically, mostly for hubbie's sake. (Ironically because I'm 52, he's 40)

Oryo Ryouko- Aka "Rio" Scrapper, fire melee and superreflexes played by DemonCaller on Virtue Server







(usually wears her hair down, the one with her hair up is for ear reference only-yes those are demon ears)

"Rio" as she is called, was originally created by Crey scientists in their supersoldier program as a prototype. She'd probably still be with them, except for a chain of events that left her (then only a 4 year old girl) the only survivor of a fire that destroyed a Crey-owned laboratory in the 'Crey's Folly' area. Subsequently, she was raised by a family in New York state, although she has spent time globehopping while learning to use her powers, for good. In her secret identity, she is a PPD forensics officer.

Costume: What costume? She prefers street clothing, although she does have the obligtory skintight leather outfit for heroic activities.

Mellissandria has been on her own for some time now; since there was no real work for a musicologist on her home world, she decided to take off and see the universe..Somewhere along the line, her time/space ship decided to go dimension hopping as well, so she is now several realities away from her own, as well as in what might be the past for her people...

To make things worse, she recently landed in Paragon City for repairs. While she was out looking for parts, the Clockwerk discovered her time/space ship, and proceeded to gut it for their own uses.

Mellie has managed to partially recreate and repair her ship, after declaring war on the Clockwerk and scavenging for spare parts. Her weapons are the futuristic tools she carries with her in her backpack (handy for opening the odd door) and her own mind-her people are naturally psionic to a degree...Mellie is just more so.

Now, she has to adjust to living in a reality where her people and culture are considered part of a fictitious science fiction series, and where metahumans run around and sometimes amok in really tight, sometimes skimpy clothing and masks.

Well, looks like one down.

Guilty pleasures...hmmm...

Let's see...staying up all night. Not necessarily on the computer. When I was younger, I actually liked going home from work late at night..I would cut thru a mall, sometimes stop at this or that place. Buckhead/Lenox area is beautiful at night..or it was in the late eighties...

Flirting in recent years has become a guilty pleasure. Maybe because I am married in real life

The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, and my husband's peanut butter and chocolate cream pie..both guilty pleasures and god I love them!

And while I do like fried chicken, and chicken fried steak, deep fried snickers does not appeal to me.

And we can now walk.

Mercifully, my one male character doesn't mince. It's sort of a normal walk...

Tried it on one of my female toons also (sofar). I think Oryo Ryouko just caused a couple of car accidents in Atlas Park....

Probably haunt forums and write. Need to get caught up on writing anyway.

By the way, NCsoft might want to invest in Chinchillas. They do wonders for the Turbine servers (shout out to Landroval people)
