The best way I reckon is just to have a load of battles. You soon get a feel for it. After each battle if you have any questions you can then ask e.g. how come my holds are not holding you. Answer cause im an inv tank who is protected with unyielding (it takes a lot of holds to thus get a hold on said tank).

Learning what works and what doesnt work is one of the most important things. Once you start cutting out the mistakes like the above example you find you become alot better. I think this is what needs to be done if we are gonna take down violaters one day

Yeah thats what I sort of found. I wasn't enjoying playing my stalker early lvs but after awhile when he got abit more useful became alot more fun.

I also designed him PvE wise first and then once at the appropriate level done the respec to make him a PvP build.

actualy The Horde and machines was their and know one let us know what was going on after endless amounts of times asking.

The Horde did however fight the machines ending horde 63 machines 26 , but then we went on to fight E.v.i.l and got creamed

but would like to do it again and with a little pvp trianing would hope to fight e.v.i.l again and kick violators {censerd).

Tbh so much was going on and being organised never noticed anyone asking what was going on. However you leader(s) should have informed you as it was organised by alot of us and hosted by Zanku. He probably learnt a lesson never to host mass rumbles again due to the insanity of getting everyone in the right teams.

And having 8 was not a requirement - remember it was all about the fun. You could have fought on as a 5 or even perhaps joined up with another sg struggling to get the numbers.

I hope more events like this happy soon and regulary. Union leaders chat for teh win.

P.S. I would be up for more arena/pvp fun. Give me a shout in game as some of us are giving pvp training courses. For enemies to join it just cost a one time payment of 99999

Lots of arena rumbles this sunday and am very tired (arena'd out). Think we done very respectable.

This coming Sunday im away so dont know what event you would like. Ive suggest perhaps spawning and killing caleb again for all those that missed it. Afew people would also like to do the first respec. Fight amongst yourselves and let me know how ya got on

I have also created an EVIL chat channel so you can get a hold of anyone or chat even when you are on your heros/alts.

Yes there are lots of eVILs and it can get abit confusing. There are afew more roleplaying sgs out there but I think this is one of the biggest. Enjoy!

Quite happy with how we did although def made some noobish mistakes towards the end. I reckon that tipped the balance in your favour. I couldnt resist doing them though - you lot all bunched up together, charge, NOVA!!! Dead, respawn in same place, dead. Dammit!

Yeah was good fun and hopefully can be done more regulary. Took forever to sort out as in people just joining. Had a nice everyone against everyone although allowing lv 50 heros in was abit of a mistake. Lot of us got owned. Im just happy I managed to finally get hold of that pesky blaster who was stalking my stalker. Also denied him drawing on kills - final 30 seconds and got him on my [censored], web grenaded me and cant jump away. Placate and sprinting away bought me enough time to deny him, yey.

Also managed to have an sg rumble against the horde which really enjoyed. Ended with E.V.I.L. winning but didnt help my damn mouse batteried died towards the end of it.

All in all lots of fun and as the horde said to us about having another fight, all arena'd out

Everyone in the zone is lifted/dropped to 30, but you have to be level 25 before you're allowed in.

So if one takes stealth at 30, you can use it in Sirens. But if you intend to start PVPing in there the minute you hit lvl 25, then you may, as Valk says, want to take it before then.

EDIT: this thread is obviously as Syn said for the server population that have proven themselves within the PvP zones indeed since the teams are mainly consisted from the server champions and people that generally are very focused on PvP.My advice would be to start getting some practise in the Defiant PvP zones and maybe attend some PvP nights on Defiant to start getting the hand of it

Playing alot does help but it dont make you a pro. Everyone started somewhere. I learnt the ropes by fighting other like minded people (that enjoyed pvp). Wasnt experienced but you pick things up e.g. ideas and tricks. With regard to natural talents, dont think it really applies to Pvp as such. The difference is a pro person has knowledge and can exploit someone who is a lesser person (to some degree). Being a rookie does not mean you are a bad player. Im sure you could beat lots of people. It just means you lack experience. Fighting anyone will help as it means you get to understand your strengths and weaknesses abit better and allow you to improve.

Lastly the key to team PvP is teamwork. Alot of these people have fought and teamed against other so have an idea of there play style (what to expect).

That's fine if you're completely sure you're not going to need it (much of the time in PvE), but in PvP it's a bit late to wish you had it active when you're under a status effect /shrug. Guess it depends how many Break Frees you want to carry - personally I’d rather carry a few blues and have my status protection on all the time.

Wouldnt be able to make it. Sundays evenings are normally my sg day. This sunday got an sg arena rumble between afew sgs.

Sounds too me like you need a turbine generator. You need to craft this item from a load of salvage. Mind you it aint cheap at a cost of 1.5 mil.

Am I reading this wrong. You dont need to be in the same sg per say. As its on test they dont need to quit there original sg. You can just make one up e.g. Defiants Deviants. Yes it would be nice to all be from the same sg but I dont think its really pratical. It seems a waste not to fight as you cant get enough ppl from the same sg. You just need to find 8 ppl that PvP.

My dominator should be coming to - Daddys Little Defect. We just need a little bit of fire power now
