Well once again another PvP orientated weekend (so very fun). Didn't have a partner for squished until very last minute and really enjoyed that apart from the cheating on first match (team mate got stuck and couldnt move so they left him - I pay them back in sirens/warburg
).
You notice the supergroup is very active at the moment which is fantastic. Only bad thing is space is very tight and anyone that probably hits over 15 days inactive will more then likey be temporary moved (unless a valid reason e.g. holiday etc) to make way.
Coalition wise some of ours seem to very quiet and am looking at replacing them with some new supergroups that are more active. I am trying to get in contact with the various leaders but not so easy when no one about.
My PvP brute is coming along nicely and was able to bash in some regen scrappers in Sirens call so was very pleased.
This Thursday we will be pvping in RV around 7ish to fight off a hero invasion. I have spoken to some hero groups so there will be plenty about to kill such as the Super Union. We wont be fighting alone as other villain groups are well aware of whats happening. Hopefully we can get a support team together instead of just stalkers and brutes. -
Looks like could be quite busy this time around. Speaking to a few hero groups and should atleast be a challenge this time
.
Just need to make sure we get enough villains so put RV Thursday in your diary.

Late Entry
Maximum Seedage
Max Khaos @ Max Powerz
Sam the Seed @ Sam the Seed
P.S. Damn you psydock for dropping me, I have my revenge!!! -
From what I have seen and read any team can do it if prepared and know what they doing.

Oh when I organise a RV night no one wants to participate..

Spam arena channel tthe previous days announcing it once every half hour or so. Most of the players dont read these forums
[/ QUOTE ]
I find word of mouth better then spam. Speak to those that enjoy pvp and know those that would be interested. Failing that speak to supergroups that dabble in pvp (they still exist).
Ofcourse this approach takes a little more effort but should pay better dividends. -

Well I will definatly be there, I will also try and get as many people down as possible. Although Im sure how effectivly ill be as Im still a n00b in the community. Now the notice is there hopefully there will be more people!
[/ QUOTE ]
Dont worry, I taunt some hero groups so should be a lot more heroes next time.

Think I may need that on an alt so put me down for it

I turned up in RV at about 10pm, on the hero side. I hadn't checked the boards so I was very pleasantly surprised that there was some team PvP going on. And I must say it was a blast.
In the beginning the villains dominated, but after a short while someone went and got a rad. Then it was more or less even for a while (my impression), until half the people left for bed. Then heroes began to dominate.
Fairly sure that wasn't because of me though - once the battle was getting close to the drones at the villain base I went off to work on the pillboxes, without this changing the course of the battle much. Until Widow and Mako spawned at Delta. Then we got a nice little battle there with four heroes vs Widow, Mako and the opposition. <smiles at the memory>
All in all, it was an entertaining evening, especially since everyone was good-natured about the entire thing. No trashtalking on broadcast at all.

Yeah was fun.
I would say it wasnt the rad that made the difference but the controller with confuse. We lost alot of our buffs when others called it a nite. We didnt really have any protection to get rid of status affects. I say the rad didnt make much difference to me but I remember the brute cursing his luck as he was always debuffed and slowed. -

Meh, you're not nice to me

Because you left us -
I brought alot of my lot, must have been when you had gone as we dominated heroes.
-
If you keep us posted I also make a message of the day for union leaders so should be able to spread news of the event. Im also sure be able to get afew from my supergroup down for some good ol fashing ganking
.
-
Can see both points of view - however as nothing was said and was just general pvp then I would say inspirations are fine. In a lot of zone duals (omg use arena) unofficial law tends to be no inspirations (which you would agree before hand).
The only thing that would have perhaps annoyed me was the running away but wouldn't be calling you a cheater. As been stated many times in pvp there are no real rules just many many different expectations. -
Hmmmm 6 pm, hopefully get back from work on time as I am sure I will have an alt needing this.
I will contact you if get online in time but don't go waiting after 6 on my behalf. -
So close to inferno now
.
Its Tuesday so hopefully big turnout tonight for some carnage.
-
Shout me if you gonna do the new fault line as still not done that. Also try join us for a superteam session, be nice to do a bit of teaming before you shoot back off again. Also say hi to that lot on WoW as apart from LT havent heard anything from the others (and some of us miss them a tiny bit).
Would say this weekend was awesome for PvP - not seen it of this quality for a good age. Some of the best pvp I have been in as was so fun (very support orientated) - sent that defiant lot packing as well as that gank squad of heros.

How about trying a team?
[/ QUOTE ]
That might work if there was someone to team with.
[/ QUOTE ]
Cant rope in any of your super group, coalitions or friends? -
So what did you think of last nite - hopefully not to many people for you to handle
.
-
Quite a few in the 30s so around 33/34 ish. Although been sidekicking up so by the end of the last session a lv 1 became lv 9/10
.
-
Well some nice action of late - now gained 5 levels in a few hours so cant complain

Obviously not enough for you to drop me.
What happened to fighting as defending champions eh! -
Well most the pvp'ers I know are being snapped up and so wondering is there anyone left?
Hopefully will get afew from my sg but would like to perhaps spread the experience and give them a fighting chance.
P.S. Ive not been snapped up yet.
-
Kinslayer, when you have sorted out your global send me a message so can add you.
-
Think people forgot about Tuesday but got enough for Thursday. Was a small team but was really fun - much more organised then the usual 8 man chaos teams
.
Hopefully can run the superteam other then Tuesdays and Thursdays but hope people make an effort to try attend these days (you know you are missing out). -
I know you know but have to say because those not in the know may get wrong impression. We love violators, especially in Warburg
.
-
Whose about makes a difference too. Still got quite afew old faces about and been enjoying my pvp still (mainly zonal).
I have yet to try out all the new hero stuff so I am sure I would join you (as well as afew others I would imagine).
And Bru, my wish was never for Violators to go down because just means have no real competitor to try and match/keep up with (had a nice bit of friendly competition at times which really made things more interesting).
