I believe there was an old interview with Statesman where he did say they hadn't decided if Incarnates were a new AT or an progression for higher level character (It was old, they may have made up their minds). Personally I am leaning toward the latter, but I don't think there has been any offical word on what exactly Incarnates are... yet...

The exists of site as it'll probabely continue to go through changes as emotes are added and I tweak it. This thread gives us somewhere to discuss it and help me improve it.

Currently peicing together a set of pages to view the gifs and their associated /em commands 10 at a time. Would also like to add other models performing the emotes (like signature characters), although the making of the emotes gifs is really the slow, time consuming part of the process.

There were multiple villain groups competing over the Malleus Mundi. The Fifth Column figured heavily into things as well.
We mostly got fragments of that story as opposed to a single storyline. I'm not sure I ever saw a single authoritative summary of exactly what happened.

Perhaps not. The story started out with no one knowing who had the Hammer of the World, and the Banished Patheon, CoT, and 5th were all mentioned as being interested in it.

Still, the July 13, 2005 issue of the Paragon Times ties the Banished Panteon directly to the events of the Malleus Mundi with no mention of the others' involvement:

It was... and they were also responsable for the arrival of the Cabal, Fir Bolg, et al. with the same book, although we didn't know who was responsable for either until we were told that in a Paragon Times article focusing on Croatoa.
