That's frickin' ridiculous. It's just a waste of keystrokes to whine and beg for an invite if the team leader isn't there yet. I don't even bother broadcasting LFT until monster hunting starts...but most of the time I've gotten an invite by that point without even saying something in broadcast..

Heck, most folks shouldn't even get too worried about a lack of an invite unless they need to be on Hami aggro or Yellow aggro. If someone has holds or ranged attacks, just /friend the green targeter...if they have melee attacks, just friend the yellow damage targeter!

I work 11-7pm MT most of my days, and now I can't even make it to Hami Raids anymore cause the Hive fills up 15-30 minutes before the scheduled Hami Raid starts.
The Hive filling up super early was pretty common even before the free holiday server transfers. I recall during the final months of the last round of regular Hami raids, I would rarely even be able to get into the Hive 30 minutes, sometimes even 45 minutes, prior to the raid (and couldn't get there any earlier due to work...'cause 30-45 minutes prior is 5:15-5:30pm Pacific). It got to the point where I just stopped even trying.

One of the few benefits of my current misfortune is that I have a hellavalot more free time so I can attend raids again!

There may be a chance that the day and time just isn't working for a lot of people. RL obligations can often come up on Saturdays and there's probably a lot of people who likely don't want to commit to a regular team like this if there's a chance they won't be able to make it all the time.

Also, have you tried actively recruiting in JFA2010 or Justice United? There's a lot of players that don't frequent the boards and probably don't know that this is even going on (or in the case of of the JU MOTD, might not know what "static team" means).

  14. I'm all in favor for Yellow tanks exiting after the blues and greens are downed to give them a chance to redistribute EoEs and prep for establishing aggro when the mitos respawn. I also think it'd be a good idea for the buffers on Yellow aggro team to exit along with their tanks so they can get their buffs in and be primed for any healing or rezzes that may be necessary. It only takes being a split second too late with your EoE to end up with a loose yellow (our tanks are beyond awesome with their skills, but you can never be too safe ).

Hami spawned *really* quick last time. I looked at the clock when he spawned and noticed we only got +/-5 minutes of monster hunting in before he spawned. Less time means less GMs downed, less GMs downed means less opportunities for EoEs.
  17. Yay! Congrats Marcian!! Look forward to seeing you in the game again!
  18. I too greatly enjoy and prefer the non-retreat raids. While I don't have a problem with retreat-style, the non-retreats are more challenging and the risk makes it far more exciting IMO. And heck...even though things went a bit sour during the third mito spawn, we were able to pull back, regroup and still kick Hami's gelatin bootie! I say continue making the attempt at non-retreat for Monday raids and save the retreats when things go really bad (like tonight).

I'll also try my best to make EoE farming...should at least be able to make it over the near term since my afternoons are open for now.
