2. Aloha all, I'm Manoa...art forum lurker and occasional art form poster. I mostly just appreciate art, but sometimes sketch when I have the time and the inspiration hits. Oh, and am the proud owner of one piece of character art (many thanks again Foo! *hugs*).

Bah, all I did was post one link. Not nearly as helpful as all the useful info that TJ's posted since the new forums launched.

Speaking of, huge kudos to TJ for all the time and effort you've spent in helping folks get acclimated to the new forums. Although there are some out there who are resistant to change and haven't been all that receptive, I most certainly welcome the changes and appreciate all your help!

For those who do not like the defaulted hidden sub-forums layout on the front page, bookmark the following:

http://boards.cityofheroes.com/forumdisplay.php?f=547

This will take you directly to the English sub-forum, which is set-up in a similar layout as the old forums.

Bobi, bookmark the following:

http://boards.cityofheroes.com/forumdisplay.php?f=547

That should jump you directly the the English portion of the forum, which has a similar layout to the old forums.
6. <QR>

The new shiny forums are only a couple hours old and posters are already putting Niv, Avatea and Mod-08 to work.

FYI EverStryke, spamming messages across multiple forums is against the forum rules.

I'm ashamed to say this but....
I've never done a Hami raid.
So where do we meet?

[/ QUOTE ]

Everyone gathers in The Hive, which is accessible in Eden (the SG portal to Eden is very handy, as it drops you off very close to the entrance to The Hive). It's been awhile since I've been to a raid, but the last couple times I tried, the zone filled up super early...so try your best to get there early (at least 20-30 minutes). Before going, I highly suggest taking a peek at Quat's Hamidon Raid Guide to familiarize yourself with how the raid works (though keep in mind that a lot of raids are not using Blue team anymore and are shuffling those folks into Green team, so it's likely that a Blue team will not be formed). The raid leaders are really good about walking folks through the raid process, but from personal experience, reading Quat's guide really helped me avoid feeling completely and utterly lost during my first raid.

EDIT - Hey TJ...JINX!!
11. Hau`oli la hanau PosiBot!
12. Thank you so much Sylph! I haven't done a drop ship raid since the Steel 70 event on test and I had such a great time! It's too bad we couldn't get enough participation to continue it into to other zones, but the Steel event was such a blast!

What's a Meow Farm?

[/ QUOTE ]

Meow teams, meow missions...whatever the code word for 'farms' in the MA was.

All I remember as a bunch of people standing around in AE broadcasting "Meow?" "Meow?" "Meow LFM!"

[/ QUOTE ]

*shudder*

As if role playing catgirls didn't freak me out enough already... seeing that spammed everywhere would have driven me to hide under the desk in a fetal position for a month.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was playing Crazy Old Cat Lady a lot during the Meow madness. Man, I had so much fun messing with those Meowers in broadcast...

Just because sol is 2/3rd the size of Australia now, does not mean a meet a greet !!! :P

[/ QUOTE ]

After the uproar yesterday about a joke referencing a certain feminine product, I just don't see how a joke about someone's weight can be considered okay. Just sayin'...

And Noodle, if the get together contained two or more Justicites and they were meetin' and/or greetin', I'd consider it a meet & greet.

[/ QUOTE ]

I can honestly say, sol has become not only a best friend in game, but also in life as well AND it's a long standing joke about his custard tart addiction! lol and honestly I don't think you can even equate the lack of humor that was in the original to this one, which is a completely different tone!

But I digress, sometimes I forget how srsly srs teh forums are, or something..

I could go on, but I do not want to be a cause for another 15 posts to vanish into the void.

[/ QUOTE ]

No worries Cho dear! I could tell that your post was meant to be a joke and was intended to be harmless fun (as evidenced by the :P). Although I quoted you, my comment wasn't intended to be directed towards you.

My rule of thumb...if a comment contains or , it is not a serious comment, was intended to be lighthearted and should be taken as such. Just my 2 inf.

Back to your regularly scheduled meetin' and greetin' discussion.

*steps off soapbox*

Thanks bunches to TA, Sassy, tremorr, Somber Traveler, Peep, DD (and Chewie too), Kid Kraft and Peep for coming to make the end of Scimi's trip super special! And a special thanks to Mod-08/TheOcho for the unexpected appearance and loot! It was *really* awesome to have you there and get the chance to meet ya and hang out with you a bit.

[/ QUOTE ]

Humph! I see how it is!

Also notice how Peep is listed in there twice. . .

[/ QUOTE ]

Frick! You ever have that moment when you're posting a post and you know in your gut something doesn't feel right about it? Then you go over the photos, count up all the people in them then count up all the people listed three or four times to make sure you got everyone? Then you find out that the counting technique didn't work as intended. Yeah, always "fun" when that happens...

Post is all fixed now...I'm really sorry RG!!! *hugs*
21. I have to say that the zero grace period does concern me as well. I think the best suggestion I can make is to contact one of the community relations folks (Niviene, Avatea, Moderator 08 aka TheOcho) to let them know your situation, concerns, suggestions and to see if anything can be done to resolve the matter.
22. What a fantastic time! I couldn't help but go into a slight food coma (aka nap) after I got back home...my tummy's *still* digesting the ostrich burger and fried zucchini! Thanks bunches to TA, Sassy, tremorr, Somber Traveler, Red Gren, DD (and Chewie too), Kid Kraft and Peep for coming to make the end of Scimi's trip super special! And a special thanks to Mod-08/TheOcho for the unexpected appearance and loot! It was *really* awesome to have you there and get the chance to meet ya and hang out with you a bit. It's always such a joy to hang out with my fellow Justicites and the Paragon Studios staff...y'all really exemplify what makes this game so great.

Some pics of the excursion...enjoy!

P.S. We NorCal folks should really to get together sometime again in the nearish future...next time, I think it'd be a good idea to gather up somewhere in the Bay to make things fair for our Bay area peeps (that's peeps with a "p," not Peep with a "P" and no "s" ).

EDITED...somehow listed Peep twice instead of listing Red Gren.
