Quote:These notes are to butter BABs up before you ask the inevitable "do costumes cause lag" question, right?*makes note for next year to have the bartender's number on speed dial for ordering Margarita's on the rocks to be delivered to panels in style*
*makes note to also find out any flavor preferences, salt/no salt, etc before placing said orders*
*makes note to take pictures of indignant look on Jay's face when the Margarita's arrive for BAB instead of Coors Light for him* -

Quote:You had my cellie, no excuse!I know hon and thank you. Thing was Friday night i thought i was all set right up till then end of the night which was around 1am and so i just went and slept in the car, The following night Sage and FreakChiller kindly offered me their extra bed (TY 2 so much! Soooo comfy!
).
Had i known earlier i certainly would have asked! Of course I know this
Thank you Manoa! *hugs*
Quote:Was not a happy camper when I found out you were in the car. -

My voice is finally getting back to normal today! Yay!

I wasn't present to witness it myself, but I have subsequently learned that the second Somber hears ma'am, it's time for him to excuse himself to the restroom. *snicker*
-
Quote:TA, completely and utterly unacceptable!!Sleeping in a Honda Civic isn't as bad as i thought it would be
Next year, you let me know immediately whether or not you have a room to stay in! You should know by now that you are more than welcome to stay with Somber and I if you are lacking accomodations. No Justicite should feel that they have to sleep in the cold.

Got word on Facebook that Team Phoenix (Plas, PlasmaDad, Samuraiko and Bloodspeaker) have made it home safe and sound.

Quote:Seconded, thirded and fourthed! <3 You RG!Red, thank you again for putting this together. You deserve every accolade bestowed upon you and then some.
Wow, 5 hours?? I knew you said traffic was bad, but I had no idea how bad. That's an extra 3 hours tacked on due to bad traffic. I'm sorry!*hugs*

Quote:We're going to have to wait 'till next year to see those pics, aren't we?I dont have my photos posted yet, but let me include a couple other highlights...
Quote:Posi in his cape. I know he did it last year. I just love that cape.)
Quote:Frog stealing someone's drink as he walked up to the stage for the costume contest.
Quote:The car rides to and from everywhere were a blast themselves.
Quote:Also, we realized that I can't repeat my "As Heard at HeroCon" thread this year, as many of this year's memorable quotes are not T for Teen. -
Quote:That was brought up during breakfast and the Bacon Lord deemed it facon (well, he called it fake bacon, but I'm going with the current terminology).Bob, have you seen this?

Frickin' grumble grumble and other expletives! I swear I fixed that during the last go around. Fixed and heading off to grab some sleep.
And from this point forward, no more corrections unless they're factual errors! The grammar Nazi in me cringes to say this, but I don't care about typos at this point! -
Frickit!! Fixed again.
Though the Holy Book of Wiki lists the song as Copacabana and I'm listing it as such. -
Quote:I concur. While I don't use the feature as much as some, the amount of work that they put into the system is just mind boggling and was a huge addition to the game. It's a shame he didn't get as much love in the panel as he deserved. It's a shame Jay and his acolyte got so much attention for adding a few new faces while BackAlleyBrawler (on the same panel) was practically ignored for his Power Customization work. I hope he enjoyed the Margarita during Sunday's closing panel. He looked like he was enjoying it at least.
Quote:A few minor corrections: All fixed!

My favorite moments at HeroCon...
Seeing that TJ was able to make it. Wouldn't have been the same without ya!
RG's reaction to his gift artz and signed t-shirt. You deserve it!
Eating so much food that it hurt!
"So sayeth the Braxx"
Witnessing the bliss on Bacon Lord Bob's face as he tasted bacon waffles.
Chocolate pancakes. Yum!
Seeing Praetoria for the first time. *drool*
Seeing players try to bribe Sexy Jay into divulging info and/or taking suggestions with booze during the costume panel.
Wondering who the new dev was during one of the panels and then realizing that it was War Witch. Congratulations on your progress (60lbs lost down), you look fabulous!!
Team Snark kickin' *** and taking names (okay, we didn't exactly win, but we still kicked ***).
Making Crazy Old Cat Lady for the action figure challenge (cardboard cutouts and crafts) during the Live Mission Event.
Seeing all the fantastic costumes. Great job all!! Gotta enter next year!
Justice taking the two highest spots during the trivia contest. Yay Samuraiko and Mekk!
Mekk winning the trivia contest and seeing all the cool swag he got! So much stuff, he needed help carrying it all!!
Seeing David Nakayama doing his *gorgeous* sketches again this year. I didn't win any sketches, but it was fun to see him create and to see the joy on players' faces when they won a sketch.
The return of BraxAlley Brawler.
Meg singing Copacabana during karaoke, dancing while he was singing and Justice and Avatea rushing to him at the end of the song to fawn over him (Missy: "Oh my gawd! He touched me!! SQUEEE!!" LOL)
Meg's backrubs. *drool*
Staying up 'till 4:30 in the morning hanging out with folks.
RG (aka Mr. Justice) and Marcian (along with Arbiter Fabulous, DJ Shecky and Gothess) getting a free year of COH for going above and beyond to make HeroCon so special. Such a special surprise and so well deserved!
Going back to Kubota this year. Such yummy food, we just had to visit it again!
As heard at Kubota...
Manoa: "DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!!"
Missy: "That's why you're not at my table!"
Karo's naughty, naughty otter backpack.
Hanging out with everyone. It was so much fun to see so many familar faces and new faces this year. This is always the *best* part of HeroCon and am so thrilled we were able to make it this year!

Quote:Pish, that's no excuse!! This isn't high school where it's impossible to break into the cheerleaders or jock groups, we're all Justice and Justice is family. Just make your presence known and you know you'll get a hug-tackle from me!I think part of the problem is I always miss out on the Friday evening activities and it is hard to break into your group after that point.
