  1. I'm a Necro/Poison MM, and I plan on using all Leadership powers (and skipping epic powers as well). The problem is that I have almost no experience with Leadership (all my other toons are Dominators), and I can't seem to find any definitive advice on how to slot them.

Can someone please link me to a guide with some good advice or else provide some of their own?

    Thanks.

My disagreement with their design paradigm is my "problem" not theirs. It doesn't make their system a "bad design" just because I don't agree with it.

One of the great strengths of this system is that even if you like to play in a way that goes against the Devs' intentions (i.e. wanting to collect every badge in the game) the game will still let you do that. In some cases it might not make it easy to accomplish, but it's still possible if you really want it.

Sure it'd be nice if the game allowed us to flashback the safeguard/mayhem missions.
But if it doesn't happen then I'll adapt, find somebody else running them and move on. *shrugs*
    1. A badger is a small furry animal, so I don't see how you could possibly be one, as no natural badger has reached sentience and the ability to write and use a keyboard.

    2. If it's a "journey," I ought to still be able to backtrack without having to use bribes and exploits. Are they using the Balinese government as a game model or something? That's no way to keep subscribers around.

    3. Leading from #2 - If it's my problem, then it's actually their problem too. I pay a monthly fee. It's in their best interest not to screw me, or else I bail and they don't get any more of my money.

Perhaps my saying "deliberately missable" has made you think I'm implying that they've done it maliciously. I actually think it's more a matter of negligence and/or incompetence.

I come back to this game every once in a while to see if they've fixed any of this nonsense programming. I was delighted to find that they've finally introduced a way of transferring items and infamy between characters. Wonderful. Only took them six years. Was it "fate" that you had to use bribes and exploits to transfer things before then? Was it "part of the journey?"

    Give me a break.

In any case, it's apparent that there's still plenty of BS flying around, so I'm out again. I'll come back next year and see if they've fixed anything by then.

Well I'm not on Victory, I'm on Freedom. And no, I've never had anyone help me out of the...what did you call it? Goodness of their heart?

    Whatever that is.

This is all beside the point. Making these badges deliberately missable for no apparent reason is bad design.
  4. So if I'm a level 46 Villain and I'm missing the Global Threat exploration badge, there's literally no way I can get it except by paying someone who's 10 or below to invite me to their bank mission?
