  6. The idea for a paid PvP expansion (from what I understood) would be that folks who didn't want to spend 3 months grinding away in a portion of the game they used to like 3 years ago -- when it was new -- and get to the part they enjoy most... PvP'ing.

    I'm sure if you are feeling sufficiently sadistic to make people have to endure the monotonous, "open newspaper, run to door, kill minions, kill boss, get power-up, exit mission. Repeat... 100,000 times.".. then yes, you would be against the chance to jump straight to 50 and have only access to 5 zones ONLY.

  11. I'd still prefer we keep it on the record, it isn't some seldom asked for trifle. Understood that it isn't on the Soon™ List, but it is in our hearts and minds which would make the game excel under consensus.
  12. I'm still in the "use oranges to resist Cage" camp. Having Cage check hold resistance would still suck for Vills considering Siren's Call.

    1. Cross-Server Arena & PvP Zones (By Coast/Group/All)
    2. Either re-balance Unresistable effects or be less stingy with them, Villain-side
    3. Cathedral of Pain and Items Of Power, please.
    4. I don't need nor desire an apology, please do something with Villain Patron Power Pools.
    5. +Perception and Clarity Siren's Level is very difficult to obtain and leads to non-Stalker tight-build ATs being much less useful in the zone.. hence the proliferation of Stalkers. Please consider.
    6. Existing bugs on ATs that seem to perform "Just Fine" doesn't mean they aren't broken and certainly doesn't comfort fighting foes who are "Just Fine" and have been working as intended for 2 years +.
    7. Bounty is one of the few rewards that are obtained through actual PvP combat.. this would be a wonderful thing to add to the other 3 zones.
    8. Please do some housecleaning on the system-generated events.
    9. Arena Map selection would be a welcome change, and if it is not too much trouble, more maps.
    10. My 10 is just a thank you for letting the PvP community gather our voices and being much more receptive than before.

  17. How about the amount of NPCs be inversely proportional to that side's attendance? Less villains in the zone, more arachnos.. less heroes in the zone, more longbow? I know they have a level-based spawn mechanic.. though I am not at all sure about a faction-based spawn mechanic.

  19. I dunno, on my brute the only alternative to the RI toggle is to dive into a spawn of Arachnos when they decide to chase...
  20. I don't know how reliable this is, but it looks like there is a max cap of +175% with an innate +75% for players (different for PvP tho) for squishies. There is still the 5%~95% range.

  22. If they are hitting with base damage and can't use Inspirations, Enhancements, Buffs, or BU+Aim then melees are still affected.

    The caged player is also still fully targettable, they are just unaffected if damage/debuffs are being thrown out. With this change, it becomes a force multiplier like any debuff.
  23. How about making cage work as a -RNG power that drops all powers to a distance of 5' [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs] and sets powers back to base damage [Ignore Enhancements & Buffs]? This will cover the gap of Villain's lack of -RNG, force the opponent into a more dangerous playstyle (or just wait it out), and remove the unfun aspect of being completely and totally useless.
  24. Okay, what about the casual PvP'ers that want to be able to leave the zone, blow off some steam and come back to the fght when more of their friends are on?

    How about Accolades and IO sets? Temp powers from story arcs and mayhem missions? What about only being able to purchase Inspirations in Bloody Bay? How would you approach the Black Market, Recipe Drops, getting Inventions Salvage and Base Salvage? That too would mean to increase the rewards for PvP even moreso than they do now.

    ...and in transforming the PvP zones into co-op zones, don't glase over the fact that Nukes, Shivans, and Mini-blasters will be phenomenally easy to get. I've seen folks get up-in-arms when wanting to nerf PvP zones and then having the mini-game removed due to Risk vs. Reward becoming Sight Seeing vs. Monty Haul.

    The suggestions you/your source have made (such as "a dozen new zones") to me seems more effort to get PvE into PvP.

    IMO, It does come across as NIMBY, and only really favours the hardcore crowd.
