Well they all got their presents today. Some got turkeys, some ham, some scooby doo . That is what the lady on the news report said. Seen a few shots of a puma but the news was mainly focusing on the lion(s) and tiger(s). Had one shot of a black panther though. Looks like Cat Tales had a full house though, saw lots of visitors in the news shots.

Well just saw on the news that Cimmie and the other cats are going to be getting presents tomorrow morning at 10 am.
Cimmie is going to have a Santa "snack".

HUH! I guess I have been hit by a different type of Nemie sniper then, because I have had their attacks explode at me. Also I have been held by them too by their stupid gas attack. If you were flying and got hit by something like that, as you fall you will be falling out of the FX of that attack so you wouldn't see a visual clue to what type of attack mezzed.

PM Lighthouse or Cricket and they will sticky it or have one of their minions do it for them.

As an aside note, yes you are likely old, or at the very least feel that way... I am fast approaching 30 and find myself finding more and more things that I remember being cool being outdated, or even stranger... brought back in the current retro craze!

Hell I remember using 8-tracks till the mid 80s, having a turntable to play my moms LPs and cringing when I saw/heard DJs scratching with LPs.
Good ol Intellivision was my family's console.

I remember talking my ex-roomie into getting the game based upon what I had read about it in PCGamer.

....the first character I created, and still my Main, and getting tells about the name, some got it, some didn't.

....seeing my first high level ambush chasing after the ambushee after Hollows came out. It was the first time I had seen Freakshow, and following them at a distance just to see what they would do and getting to close and they happily showed me for all .5 seconds.

....the Rularuu invasion. Remember attacking the eyeballs and brutes in AP and GC and getting so cocky that I started attacking higher level mobs and getting a free ride to the hospital.

....helping out a 40+ character with a nemie mission and not realizing that snipers saw thru CD+SS and getting killed over and over till I hit the debt cap.

....when badges came out and I had the first 2 when I logged on the first time along with the 3 mez badges.

...the nerf to trip mine. After setting up a Hallway of Death and luring a Red con boss into it and just standing there going, "This ain't fair....oh that hurt."

....when in the 30s and up I couldn't get a team because no one wanted a blaster on the team...and getting kicked from the team when a scrapper(s) became available.

Well I won't have camera or video equipment so ya just need ro rely upon my descriptions. Of course this a excuse to get a digital camera.

Well I am on vacation next week and I plan on seeing her then...even if I have to walk up there, I am making it. I will give ya all a full report on how she is holding up. Right now I would say she needs water and ice, its been hot the past few weeks and the forecast indicates the same for the next week. Plus don't forget her mask with all the smoke from the forest fires , bloody stupid hikers.

I hate my truck, my front end is so out of alignment I couldn't make it up to see Cimmie, I was all over the road so I had to turn back. It was the first time I had the thing up to 55 I have just been tooling around town so I won't be able to get up there till next month after I get the front end aligned.

I don't have a camera so I can't take pics of our mascot, which bums me out, unless I can get my boss to lend me her camera...hehehe lets hope and pray


Edit: well I get to use her camera tomorrow, I may not be able to upload some the pics till after she gets back from her camping trip but at least we will have some more current photos of our mascot.

Hey ya'll Protector pals, I work about 10 miles from Cat Tales and tomorrow I will swing by after work and see how our mascot is doing and plunk a months worth of feeding down for her. I will let ya'll know how she is doing with all the hot weather that is here now and more heat to come this weekend, forecasts of 100+ for the weekend.

Ok, all right, here is my 2 inf worth (for what it matters to someone that has already had his mind made up on how powers and players SHOULD be). My Illusionist has ST and I love that power. Lets me solo, lets me set up a "safe" zone in a fight for other squishies, and lets me do another form of controlling. Since my Illusionist is a CONTROLLER and not a damage dealer its great. As for your mediocre powers comment, Empathy can be called one (since if you don't take damage you don't need to be healed or buffed if you got the "right" build), or bubbles (if you have a healer you don't need "protection"), or the entire scrapper powers or tank powers(if you can hold the mobs so they can't attack or you can range defeat them), it depends on PLAY style, NOT powers. I figure your a XP/min type player judging by your statements of playing gimped to Arcanaville, if so more power to you, just hope not to team up with you ever; if not my apology for misconstrueing your statement. Now about your comment to "playing a mediocre set to cause frustration" same thing can be said about any AT/powerset. Granted some of the reasons will be QUITE a stretch but they can be made. If you don't like controllers or their powersets then fine, but don't knock them without saying so FIRST.

My uses for ST that I have found.
With ST you can use it in a team WITHOUT scattering mobs. You stay at the back, pop ST at max range BEHIND YOU away from the group you are fighting. Then there is a safe haven for any squishy on the team that needs to retreat since the mobs will get ST'd and lose aggro. Also when ya have to protect something from getting destroyed pop one on top of whatever it is and the mobs will have other things to think of than destroying it. This is so far in groups since I don't have stamina or my RA yet to be able to pop pets, heal, hold and have a ST out yet also. I also don't team much since most of the time I spend healing cause the "real" healer is too busy being a offender instead healing.
