You could hear them but not see them. You would have to "feel" around with your cursor to see when it changed into a hand to click them.

Once, the glowies didn't stop glowing even after you'd interacted with them. Some did, but the majority didn't. After I3, the glowies stopped glowing once you interacted with them, but they had also stopped producing sound. This was a bug, which was fixed in a subsequent patch.

Actually I like DC just because it's fairly centrally located on the east coast. A day of travel and you wind up in pretty much any place in the US east of kansas. As far as locations go, it's pretty central.

I see alot of conventions in chicago, and I'm not really sure why... it's not that seperated from the bulk of civilization, but it's not THAT centralized either...

Seriously though.. I'd highly reccomend the next event be in boston. It's a pretty big place, alot of people available, close to NY/new england, a whole lotta good advantages (still a 5 hour drive for me, but it's still a damned nice venue)
