I PM'd Statesman about this and he said:
    [ QUOTE ]
    From: Statesman

The Hammie boosts travel powers by 30%.

    [/ QUOTE ]

so it looks like its not a bug.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Worst. News. Possible.
  2. I currently have my single target hold slotted with two Acc/Mez and four Dam/Mez... If it lands and holds... you get the idea

As for my mass hold, it is slotted with two Acc/Mez and four recharges, I can nearly perma chain hold a group (with hasten).

That is the extent of my experience with HOs... but I still need more
  3. I've used GDF and GD on CoTs in Perez Park while I was in my 40s, I didn't time it, but the hold duration was insanely long (well over five minutes).

Although this information is rather useless... it leads me to believe that there is no duration cap.
  4. I don't think there is a cap. You just don't get as big a benefit from them as you used to.

    I'm still getting blind invites.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Yep, been there.

    [ QUOTE ]
My next mission I accept is a hunt 50 - no, it's 65(!)- Carnies. I'm just at the entrance to the Sky City tram. I come back from my bio break and I'm face-down! At the tram!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Done that, they came from the other side of the Tram, where the drones don't go

    [ QUOTE ]
(Except for the power gamers, who wear catheters.)

    [/ QUOTE ]
    So that's how that works...

    [ QUOTE ]
Now why am I missing the house-size Granites...?

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Never understood that either

    [ QUOTE ]
I get a tell later that is done right, asking if I'd like to take out a 47 AV, but it comes right at midnight my time, and I made a rule to log by then (can't be late for work!).

    [/ QUOTE ]
    You too!?

I know how you feel man, I know how you feel.
  6. [ QUOTE ]
(and wasn't maria jenkins states' ally, not Sidekick? or did someone mention that and I missed the post)

    [/ QUOTE ]

That was the conclusion I came to, because I don't remember reading anywhere else that she was a 'hero', just that she and Statesman were colleagues.
  7. She is? I really missed it.

She was introduced as someone who's been in the city for a while and is loved and respected throughout the city, but I never got the impression that she was once a sidekick.
  8. [ QUOTE ]
One of his ex-sidekicks is a 45-50 contact.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Who?

    I must have missed it
  9. [ QUOTE ]
I exit the Council mission, and am typing as I hear my character get ambushed by a couple Council members. Fun! Excuse me while I take care of them...

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Gotta love ambushes
  10. Unfortunately, once you get rated with anything less than 4 stars, it's impossible to get 5. It appears that the boards use an average system for rating and always truncate the decimal, even if the decimal is a .9!

Oh well, 4 stars ain't bad
  11. I believe the best way to describe the difference between ToHit and Accuracy is that Accuracy enhancements go directly into the power that gets more accurate, while ToHit goes into a power that affects another power's accuracy.

As far as I know, Accuracy debuffs and ToHit debuffs are the same. But to be consistent with the convention mentioned above, ToHit debuff or -ToHit (to save space) is the correct term to use.
  12. I like the twist in the story, quite unexpected and very entertaining.
  13. [ QUOTE ]
The begging for pl has begun!

    [ QUOTE ]
The other big thing that happens a lot now is blind invites, and spam invites.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Unfortunately, I can sympathize with your pain.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
I'm also learning to anticipate the Freakshow Rez, as I like to call it. It's like a dance of sorts when you're solo. I put down everyone, low on health, pant, pant... hey! Stay down!

    [/ QUOTE ]

I remember those days... being a low level (early twenties) controller on a team that just defeated a Freakshow Tank. My team moves on, and wouldn't you know it... the Tank rezzes and isn't very happy to see the controller still standing there!!!

    Oh, the memories...
  15. [ QUOTE ]
...but a tank, when he's good, often never gets noticed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If I team with a good tank, I make sure that he gets noticed.

After having experiencing many missions without a tank, with a bad tank, and with a good tank, I can safely identify if a tank is good after he engages the first spawn. I will be the first one to notice and compliment the Tank on his aggro management.

After reading your post, it sounds like I'd gladly put the safety of my squishies in your tank's hands.

    Tpull, I'm enjoying this thread.

No problem. From here on every single thing I mention is just a rough guess. My discussion of features and their potential release are, at best, internal goals.

    [/ QUOTE ]
That sound like me talking to my boss
