  1. The thing is, as a Claw/Regen, I was able to take on these Bosses with impunity because of the prevalence of Smashing damage they did and Tough's high level of resistance to that damage type. Moreover, Claws has two knockdown powers (Focus and Shockwave), that allowed me to keep them on their backs for a good portion of the fight. The Warhulks also did some fire damage, but it is DoT and IH was more than enough to overcome that.

Although Regen did give me a tremendous advantage fighting them, it took a wee bit of strategy (keeping one down while pounding on the other, repositioning Major T to keep them chasing and not attacking me) and planning (picking up and slotting Tough and Stamina) to do it efficiently and consistently.
  2. A few issues back, I was regularly taking on 2 +2 Nemesis Bosses simultaneously with Major T. One was often a War Hulk, and the other was a Fake Nemesis. Of course, during that time, IH was an amazing toggle and we were able to get 50% resistance to Smashing and Lethal damage with Tough and Resilience.

    The good old days...

I have to admit, being new to Regen in Issue 5 and not really before ( I played to Level 10 back in December and then mothballed him ) I have to admit that I am curious to know just how powerful Regen was. I mean, I'm pretty pleased with the set and the pace at which I'm clipping along. Levels 11-23 in just over two weeks. Impressive. So, that being said, my guess at Issue 6 Nerfs for Regen have to be QR and Reconstruction. How can we possibly have a Stamina like power at such an early level? And how can we be allowed to have a power that will bring back 50% or more of our health in such a reasonable time frame?

I really do wish I could've seen Regen before now, it must've rocked the house hardcore.

Regen was a God.. Period... Instant healing was a toggle... we were unstoppable.

    Where did TPull go?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm around, but I literally have not played in a whole month. Yuck! I just used my new house for a housewarming party one weekend, a wedding reception on another, and the family gathering for Thanksgiving, all in-between a business trip out of town for a week. I need to clone myself so I can get in some play time...

I’m not sure what happens to the spawns inside a mission if you lose a member while it’s still going on.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If I remember correctly, they designed the enemies to spawn in missions to accomodate the size of the team when you get close to the spawn point. So if you kick him before you triggered the next spawn, the spawn would have been adjusted down to meet your current team size.

    But I could be wrong...

Fear protection will be added to IH. Integration will be made mutually exclusive to IH due to the two offering too much status protection. Clicking DP or Recon will drop Integration.

Now that players are slotting Recon, Integration will be brought back to no heal.

Shhhhh.... don't give the Devs any ideas!
  7. One good night, one bad night. It's the real life version of Cosmic Balance I guess...

In real life, I head to Wendy’s order a larger burger than usual with my fries, and reach into my change compartment in the dark for some change. I pull out a dime and four pennies, the exact amount of change I needed. See what I mean? A perfect night!

Don't you hate when that happens?

On the other hand... NO I DON'T... more XP!

Ultraman lying down on the job
    Kicking Babbage in his unmentionables

Yes! More! I suggest putting the links in relevant places in the text so that we have a picture for what you are describing.

The thing of it is though is that I had Major T targeted the entire mito clearing phase

    [/ QUOTE ]

I was trying my best to NOT target Hamidon... thanks for noticing guys. I was also trying my best to pick out targets as quickly as possible (without accidentally targetting Hami).

I know I made some mistakes, and I apologize for them. And I'll gladly take any advice and constructive criticism into consideration for the next time I am presented with that responsibility. Ishmael: thanks for giving me those pointers!

It's an honor to serve with you all!

Tactics? We don't need no stinkin' tactics!
  14. I'm glad that you are back, and posting regularly.

I was starting to miss your stories. :-P

Is there any chance you can give Gilgamesh a hand? He seems a bit overworked.

    Dark Mass

That's a good name for a tank. When I read it I started to think of dense stellar matter... sort of a dark dwarf star. But the interstellar science if for another thread. I probably need to get my head out of the clouds.
  16. In my "not so" humble opinion, an Invulnerability Scrapper with the support of a "healer" will seem more powerful than a Regen Scrapper with the same "healer". The Invulnerable one will take less substantially less damage (due to inate resists and defenses) and your healing will give him the recuperative powers similar to a Regen. Very few powers can provide the Regen with resists and defenses. So the Regen will be at a disadvantage.

When playing on a team composed of two AR/DEV Blasters, an Illusion/Empathy Controller, and my Regen Scrapper, I told the defender [paraphrased of course ], "I'll take Fortitude. However, concentrate your heals on the Blasters, keep them alive. If I need healing, I'm already dead."

This was right before I jumped into a spawn of 20, +2 Nemesis Jaegers with a Sniper in the bunch.

Needless to say we were victorious. The Nemesis didn't fare so well
  17. Statesman, I think you would satisfy many players if HO were the equivalent of corresponding lvl 53 SO enhancements. If this were done, the combining of HOs wouldn't be necessary (I bet Positron would be happy to hear that).

Please consider this option before making a decision.
  18. I agree! Why should the other servers be blessed with your presence instead of our comfy little home?

In another mission, I click on a blinkie and accidentally get the Ring of Pain, a temporary power. Doh! I forgot we were at that stage where we were getting Temp powers.

It always sucks when a teammate gets the temp power you were supposed to get... hopefully he wasn't mad at you
  22. At this point (in your hero career), were you using Elude often, or just situationally?
