Not everyone LIKES their steps though so giving a card with the "step" on it makes the gesture but not the commitment. hehe Same with 'in-law' sometimes. My EX-Mother in law was a beast of a woman, I mean HORRIBLE. But I still felt like I should give her a card for her b-day because she was only horrible to ME, not her son. ANYWAY the "in law" part made me feel better about giving it to her because I could detach myself, and eventually ended up getting rid of her and her panty waist of a son.

The NEW and improved M-i-L gets "like a mom" or "mom" cards because she is the perfect mother in law and I adore her.

*Walks in still in her PJs and grabs a cup of coffee then goes and sits on the comfy couch.*

My cable FINALLY got fixed. It took 14 calls, a supervisor and 3 techs... there HAS To be a joke in there somewhere!

It is HOT and MUGGY here in SC, as usual this time of the year.

They were supposed to come out on Tuesday and hook everything up and they did but only checked to see if the modem was working, which it was BUT they didn't stick around to see if the DVR/cable was working, which it isn't and they can't get it to boot remotely so no DVR AND the modem has some sort of signal loss so it randomly stops working.

NOW, they are supposed to be out here tomorrow (Thurs) around 1pm but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

I've talked with about 13 different people at this point, received 13 different answers and 4 promises of it being fixed "By the end of the day". GRRRR

FYI: Still no cable guy, in fact the guy who was supposed to come out and fix the issue NEVER called or showed up AND he closed the ticket so I'm glad I called again to babysit TWC. grrr!

Waiting for the cable company to get out here and fix my modem/DVR. I've called 10+ times now and have the name of a supervisor.... the power of retards!
