Wouldn't that be the last issue's Beta though? The one in which the only 'closed' part of it was that you had to have access to City of Heroes/Villains?
-
For clarification purposes, would you say they're closer to regular mission ambushes, or the Terra Volta attack waves in speed?
-
I'm trying to mix in some other music, since I already have Get Tanked on Fridays, I'm trying not to overdose my listeners on Heavy music. Though if you folks prefer I stick eith the heavy stuff, let me know here and I'll keep going. Honestly, I still hold out hope that someday the show can be run without needing nearly as much music, but that's another matter.

Tune in tonight at seven for reviews on: The Tannhäuser Gate, Hammer and Sickle of Paragon City, Circuit Breaker, and Simplicity.
-
I'll jump in on this as well.
-
If you're looking for an edge on Aeon's newest challenge, send your arc our way and we'll run it through the ringer for you.
-
Just a quick reminder, the queue is completely empty, with the three arc currengly on the 'upcoming' list currently being run for review. If you have an arc you want to submit, now's the time to do it!

Quote:Yup, that's pretty much the case. He did get me when Unstoppable crashed, but I'd only fired that up for the recovery boost. Thanks for the good reviews. guys.
A 5 star and a... err... 4.58-4.75 star.
About Bloody Vicious... I didn't consider that people might attempt to solo him with a tank class. Did you just reach a point where he wasn't hurting you, but you weren't hurting him either and just timed out?
Again, thanks. I appreciate the kind words.

Quote:I missed it so I'll most likely need an email of the show's recording.
Also! The last major function of the site is now working, so I'm going to spend some time today getting all the reviewed arcs out of the 'pending' list. It looks like the list is going to be fairly empty once I'm done, so send in those arcs! EDIT: The QUeue is clear, and there are only two waiting to be selected. -
I can't tell if I love or hate my brain at times, but I just had this play out in my head (complete with the new numbers idea)
PremonitionsTheStarHolder: Alright, all the PremonitionsWhoAreTanks go get the herd built up.
PremonitionsTheStarHolder: The PremonitionsBlasters and PremonitionsScrappers get ready to shred everything we we all get back here.
PremonitionsTheStarHolder: And someone please /petition the Premonitions that is trying to drag the Giant Monsters on top of us. If we all do it, that should get the mods attention quicker.
PremonitionsTheStarHolder: and be careful. My friend Premonitions just told me that this guy's got the same numbers I do, just in a different order.
My own opinion is that being an individual is one of the big reasons I'm here and not another MMO. Everywhere else you're just another class, indistinguishable, except for those that don't have the 'good' gear yet. There you're "That Paladin", here I'm "M I Abrahms."
Now, I don't really believe that everyone will automatically choose the same name, if given the opportunity, but I still don't want to see the day where there's an entire team of Narutos running around. -
I have one Scrapper that was originally going to be a Villain-turned Hero, but MA was kind of integral, and being a Stalker just wasn't cutting it.
I do have a Brute that's about to be rerolled to demon summoning, and I might make a Dual Pistols out of a lowbie scrapper that's going nowhere. -
Tune in tonight at seven for a review of the following arcs: A Penny for your Thoughts, The Hidden Agenda, The Union of the Mask, An Arachnos Slumber Party.
-
They do have one thing going for them, though. The stupidity of the vindictive. I do so hope that Ashley really tries hard to get in the middle of all this.
-
I'm glad to hear my review was taken well. I must admit, it was quite a bit harsher than my usual review. As I was limited by the No Spoilers tag in the submission, if you would like a more detailed (and less angry) explanation of my rant, feel free to drop me a PM.
Meanwhile, I would like to make sure that readers in your thread know that this episode will only be available until February 5th. -
Hm. A Stalker without Hide...

Quote:It sounded like he was quoting something else in that scene, if you ask me.Harvey Dent, The Dark Knight.

A bit of good news, though: The KJSR archives are back up! The episode that originally aired on Jan 24 can be found here. It will be up until this Thursday's episode, so get it while you can!

Got a question for all and sundry. I keep hearing folks talk about keeping people at range to limit the Unbound spawn. Does that mean the couple of times I've used a Snipe attack and got the full 'bloom' is something that I should bug next time it happens?

Well, I do play music between the actual review shows, since going over four arcs usually takes up only 30-40 minutes of time. How long did you stay tuned in?
-
Sounded to me like he stepped down in order to be more hands on with whatever this end game that was mentioned is.
-
It is indeed.
Tonight's arcs are: Always Waiting, Task Force Mutternacht, The Alien Tyrant, and Turg Fiction: IX. Tune in tonight at seven to see how they fare. -
That was...surprisingly gentle for the old demon.
-
Quote:Not that different. When CoV was in testing, the 'friends and family' stage for that was considered Closed Beta, as well.This. Alpha testers are all employed, in one capacity or another, by Paragon Studios. Friends and family of employees are not themselves employed by Paragon, so are not Alpha testers.

Quote:Thanks. I actually have a level 50 Fire Armor Brute, but I haven't logged into him in months, and actually have him slated to be rerolled as Demon summoning when GR hits. My reason is, much like the devs have said, a character shouldn't need IOs to be a viable concept, and Dark/Fire isn't.According to CoD and Mids' the Immobilize Protection lasts for 100 seconds.
I don't think the scatter is exactly a big deal, though admittedly I don't know how for sure how disruptive Burn's fear effect gets. But thinking logically about it - presumably if you're trying to free yourself of immobilize, it's because you want to move somewhere else. At that point scattering a group should be irrelevant. Or with the reverse, there's no reason to break out of immobilize if you're already surrounded by enemies.
Worst case scenario, you can use Burn before entering a mob, just for the protection.
That is to say, there is NO enemy group on ANY map that I can put the character up against more that solo unless someone else is main agro magnet. Said character WILL be bounced like a ping pong and useless until he's dead (and can atleast use RotP ). And this will happen multiple time each mission. I have a Blaster that can survive better.
