Wow, I just read through this entire thread and man it brought back some memories.
But reading all these things makes me think, why not try to make new memories and new friends? Back in the "Golden Era" there were so many big/powerful SG's and people doing server events/raids, what happened to all those? The biggest thing I remembered from this game when not playing, was how close the community was, and how everyone knew everyone, especially if they were a SG leader or a raid leader, or someone who just griefed and caused drama, everyone knew those people. There was alot of friendly competition about who was better or everything that made everyone play better. If I hadn't been invited into UPP when coming back, I would have tried to re-establish the old significance of a big/active/friendly SG like the ones that people used to recognize in a heartbeat. If i still had my macro's set up I would be leading raids(plus the only 50 i can/feel like playing right now is a tank).
But now im just ranting, but its worth thinking about making new memories and events/SGs everyone will remember, and not dwelling on what used to be. Liberty used to be one of the greatest servers with the most amazing community of players(in my opinion), someone please say they atleast wanna help me restore it to what it was
Thanks for the channels, I'll join them when i'm on next. Sadly, I was online for 4 hours yesterday without any active friends displaying. Our SG has scattered but at least they left me the keys to both bases, lol.
